Please help guys. I just got this phone and my parents will kill me.
I installed the Franco kernel after rooting and tried to install the drivers for chain fire 3d.
It's got my phone in a loop.
I tried wiping data and cache and dalvik cache and rebooting but it doesn't work.
Please help.

after flashing and ur still in bootloop, then go to Recovery Mode (the android with a red triangle), do a factory data reset. Then you're good to go.

Chainfires open gl drivers won't work on most 4.1+ devices. Also looking over the app description on the play store, the supported devices are all nvidia or exynos based devices. Our phones use a Qualcomm chipset. And the force 4x msaa function is built into the nexus 4. It's under developer options.

Solved!
I used AndroidRootz Mac Toolkit and Voila!. It came back to life. Could someone tell me why the regular wipe data/factory reset did not work?

The open gl drivers from the chainfire app borked your kernel drivers.

Hi Folks,
My phone doesn't seem to lock my exact location on any of the mapping apps. I have tried downloading all possible GPS apps but nothing seemed to work. Is factory resetting my phone is the only solution? I have a Verizon version.
I have couple of questions:
1. I am rooted and I have TWRP installed. if I factory reset, am I going to lose both?
Your help is highly appreciated.

Factory reset wipes the data partition, not system. You won't lose root or TWRP.
The only app I use for GPS is FasterGPS
It might help with the speed. Hopefully you can get it working.
Hi scottdanpor,
Thanks much for quick reply. I am going to try the app you suggested, if that didn't work. I'll factory reset it.
Will post back if it solves my issue.

Hi,
After upgrading to KitKat and a custom ROM I have been having multiple issues with sensors. I have factory reset several times and clean flashed a few different ROMs but with the same result. The sensors do initially work but then just suddenly stop for no apparent reason.
I have also restored from my efs backup but this has not helped.
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
Any help, please?
I would suggest going back to pure stock 4.2.2 off samimobile first the full reset from Samsung recovery and wipe. You don't mention which custom roms ? Try that first though... Let me know !!
Full wipe your phone in recovery System, firmware,... Etc then reboot directly from CWM recovery in advance settings to download(odin mod) and flash the stock ROM.
make sure you back up everything.
Hope it helps

Hi,
Did as both of you suggested but the problem still occurs. This is on X-note but also occurred on Omega. At a bit of a loss here as reverting to stock doesn't seem to help. I flashed the UK 02 rom as EE have not released 4.4.2 yet.
Any further suggestions?
Cheers

Then you will have to reflash stock ROM via recovery. I recommend doing a factory reset before rebooting to new ROM.

1.Download official firmware. Links are provided here http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/general/index-zenfone-2-laser-variants-t3369569
2.Backup your data
3.Copy the .zip file to your external sd card.
4.Power off your phone.
5.Now hold volume down and power button together. Release power button when you see asus logo.
Your phone is now in recovery mode.
6.Select "apply update from external storage" (hit power button to select) Then select yes.
Wait till flashing completes.
7.Now select "wipe data/factory reset.(this will erase all your data in internal memory)
Select reboot system.
I would appreciate if you hit thanks button instead of saying it.
