I ordered mine from the AT&T website. Never saw anything about the promos. I figured after I receive it, I'll go get the promos. But was just curious.

I was going to order from at&t, but they made 0 mention of any offers except their 2 year contract bs. Best Buy is letting you choose between a memory card or watch. I already have a 200GB, so the watch was more appealing to me than a 256GB card. Sprint has it so that you go on Samsung's site once you have your device. Maybe at&t is the same?
EDIT: Click HERE to redeem your free memory card or Gear Fit 2. You may not be able to redeem it until you have your phone. Best Buy's website seems to be the only source where you get your watch early, and Best Buy stores are the only place where you get either the smaller watch, or the memory card when you pick up your phone.

I believe those are 2 different offers. One is through Samsung (Fit2 or SD Card), which you go to their site (http://samsungpromotions.com/) when you get your phone and enter in the IMEI and stuff like that. The other is through AT&T (Gear S2 or Tablet). I just never once was presented with a promotion through AT&T when I preordered my Note 7. Not sure I really want the items from AT&T, was just curious in case I am.

In my opinion the Gear S2 is an excellent watch, but I never used the 3G because I always had it tethered to my phone. I agree that it is really not worth the extra $10 a month.
Is anybody here doing the Sam's Club deal?

Soooo I just tracked my shipment that is supposed to just be my watch, and I'm getting my hopes up that there is a Note 7 in there. The package weighs 0.88lbs, and a gear fit 2 only weighs 0.066lbs, and a Note 7 weighs 0.373 lbs. The 2 together only weigh 0.439lbs, which leaves room for packaging, and accessories! Due to arrive today. I'll report back with my probable disappointment later on.
UPDATE: Just the watch. Which I'm okay with, because I got mine waaaay before most people.
I was hoping the Note 7 was in the box for you bro. Next week hopefully.

I got my gear s2 on wed really happy with it going to get the memory card from samsung as i already got a garmin vivosmart hr+ which i really like

Interesting to note that the AT&T version has a 32GB storage option while the T-Mobile version maxes out at 16GB. Wonder where they are getting these 32GB cards that work flawlessly with the Venue... Also wonder what mystical firmware these might be running.
Guess we've done a good job beta testing the dell venue pro for dell, we should all be very proud!

Hmm odd I was selecting the unlocked option. You only have 16gb choice there. But technically you can get to it by selecting the ATT plan option and just not choose a plan.
maybe now that it is available on AT&T Engadget might post up a review. anyone know why they haven't up until this point? I'm curious to see what they think.
Yeah was looking forward to their review for the longest time...if anybody gets this AT&T version I'd love to hear from you and what your thoughts are on it. Am looking to get this and have my fingers crossed that Dell fixed all the annoying issues.

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting one as well. Just got a Quantum for my wife, but it's defective. I may just send it back and get the DVP before my 30 days is up.
Does anyone know if I can use my upgrade to purchase this through the dell website but keep the unlimited data plan I have now? I'm worried about not dealing with AT&T directly because I don't want to lose my current plan.

With TMO that is not a problem.. Just call CS after the activation and they will take care. ATT also should be the same unless their CS is horrible. I would give ATT a call and have it recorded before going ahead.
I added a line via dell's website to my att account, its a pretty easy process.

Oh well they placed THREE orders instead of one so they bumped someones earlier order and gave it to me :X. Or well thats what they said. And they gave overnight shipping as well!
Finally I have a scheduled delivery for tommorrow by 430pm!! Will report back with initial impressions.
Really curious if its going to be HSPDA+ Since we may all have to go to that phone if AT&T completes the buyout of Tmo.. really curious how well it works and if it has AT&T junk on it.

I ordered a s7 edge through verizon but I have an issue with the delivery date. They are saying they should hit the stores March 11, but I will be in Texas for my Sister in laws wedding from March 9th until the 12th. So the issue is should I keep my delivery for my home in Colorado or have it sent to Texas.
Do the preorders usually go out early? I would think it would only be fair if people who pre-ordered to get it before people can get it at the stores.
Well for T-Mobile USA they sent the S6 a week early for some users. Verizon tends to be on the dot maybe a day early in most cases.

I'm sure there will be a lot of cancellations if this is the case.
My AT&T preorder says shipping on the 7th to arrive on the 8th. Many sites are reporting preorders will be out 3 days early from the official launch on the 11th.
I just talked to 2 verizon reps and the first one said the phone should arrive on the 11th, and the other checked with her manager and said it would ship out on the eleventh and not arrive until the 14th. To me it makes no sense that the people who preordered will get there phone 2 days after the phone comes out in the store.
I am not throwing any fits because it is unfair, but this is a issue for me because I don't know where to have the phone shipped. And like my earlier post said, it seems that they are only giving out around 300,000 VR Gears, so if I am a couple days late getting it, I may lose my chance at getting the VR gear. ?

I pre-ordered from Best Buy so they will ship the VR with the phone. Also getting a free 64gb SD card.
My S6 edge was delivered on March 30th (T-Mobile), and (I think) the release date was somewhere around April 10th. So, don't be too surprised if you get a shipped confirmation email in the next week or so.
Also plan on getting mine through BestBuy. Seems like less of a hassle than waiting "4-6" weeks for the GearVR to come in.
That does sound nice, but I didn't really want to fork out 300 and be stuck in a contract. I might contact samsung and verizon and try to get some assurance that there will be enough to go around. Otherwise, I might cancel and hold out to see what the V10 sequel has in store.

That link actually proves that you need the IMEI and WiFi address.
First, they mention in the text on that page that you need to fill out the form and submit a receipt. That doesn't say what info is required for the form so it does not suffice as a counter-example, nor any evidence that the receipt is the only information you need.
Secondly, that page provides a link to the actual terms and clicking through you can see that the section on submitting the claim explicitly lists the IMEI number (3.b.iii) and the WiFi MAC address (3.b.iv) in addition to the receipt.
So, IMEI and WiFI MAC are certainly required to claim the Gear VR...

I know I got my note edge and s6 edge plus a few days early but wasn't sure if s7 edge would be the same way. They gave us SUCH a hard time yesterday. we went at 8 (hour before they close) and they would not sell it to me. It sucks because I asked if they have it in stock and if I should wait since there were 5 ppl infront of me. Lady goes "yeah, I have all 3 colors in stock. It's now my turn and they said they can't sell it to me. Why the hell did you tell me to wait then!?
So I bought the phone online and did a pick up for today. Then they would not honor the BOGO deal because I had already purchased the initial phone. ended up calling the retention line and saying I'm leaving if you can't honor the BOGO. they said we'll honor it and that was it. It was such a mess. every year it's something else when we upgrade phones. Really consiering leaving AT&T... sorry for my rant

If the Micro SD card offered anything significantly different I would have done that (as it is valued more) but its only slightly faster and I don't need that much storage. Already been looking at accessories like chargers and cases! Getting excited! Its a big move from my Note 2

Thanks for asking... I've decided on the Fit2. Had an early Gear watch, but didn't think much of it, so I ended up giving it to one of my nephews. Hopefully the newer wearables have more functionality (specifically for golf, like a Garmin). Way I see it, the sd cards are fairly common, and I have a 128GB card with room to spare still. And I went with the Silver Titanium... kind of a timeless look IMHO. Although the blue and black both looked pretty nice. Especially the blue, which is a nice sharp look for it. And the black is another classic look which never gets old.
Have you decided on which freebie you want yet?

Same here, coming from the Note 2. Absolutely LOVE that device. Had a chance to try out a Note 4 a couple of years ago when I thought my Note 2 went bad (actually had a battery issue) and wasn't very impressed. This is the one major downside I see for the Note 7 - embedded battery (knock on wood).
Either way, I am totally stoked for this device and can NOT wait for it to arrive... (and the subsequent dev for it too).

Cheap case/screen protector along with SD card I ordered are arriving today, so I'm all set. I'll get a good case and hopefully a tempered glass protector once the device has been out a while and we know what's good.
I'm going with the Fit 2 for the freebie, wife wants it. SD cards are getting cheaper by the day, so I just buy them.

My pre orders with sprint have always been the same. They ship it 2 days before the release date if they have full stock. Nobody is getting it from sprint.com before the 19th. They even put on the label to deliver on the 19th hence this is why they ship 2 day mail.
Sprint has always been the same with these having at your door but the day of release not a day before no matter when you ordered.
I got a cheap case as well should do the trick and will get the 256G card
Hoping it comes early my birthday is Friday and that would make a great bday gift. I'm probably going with the card, because I'm waiting for the gear s3 announcement. Maybe sprint will offer this one on the lease plan. Already have the supcase unicorn beetle pro and spigen neo hybrid crystal sitting in my drawer. I'll get the defender once it comes out, hopefully soon.

I never rooted my note 5 (first Android phone I never rooted) I was really hoping samsung pay would support my bank and still nothing. I just didn't want to lose that feature if and when I was able to actually use it. I'll probably never root my n7 unless I keep it for more than a year and my bank still isn't supported.

Ordered mine on the 3rd through Sprint customer service. Got free shipping and no activation fee being I've been with them for 12+ years. I have a Huawei watch but think I am still going to get the Gear 2. Also picking up a Ringke Slim case. It protects all the edges but feels like the phone doesn't have a case. Pumped too as I have had every Note since the Note 2. Note 4 probably is my favorite so far.

I'm thinking the gear fit also. My wife is going with the card I think.

I know it can take take up to 3 months, but when I got my note 5 I got the wireless charger promo and it didn't take that long. Hopefully it will be the same, because I also received 2 wireless chargers. I wouldn't mind getting a bonus 256gig card to sell and keep one for myself. Or sell both and buy a gear s3.

What are the odds that two note 3's would die, in a month from one another? I really liked that phone, and after losing my Note2 in a rogue wave, I got a pair of Note 3's off ebay, in Mint cond. I didn't wanna buy used again, so I got a Note 7 on the payment plan... I too bought a cheap all in one case (360 degree protection, for under $9?)... then I won't feel so bad, when I get the phone, and I'm disappointed when this (almost $1,000 device, after sales tax!) doesn't multi task (IE: won't surf, while on a call, like Spark, and successor to Spark... "enhanced LTE" It's not in my area, when last I checked, so I'll be looking to buy a new, in the box Note 3; the most advance non-Spark device.

Cheap case/screen protector along with SD card I ordered are arriving today, so I'm all set. I'll get a good case and hopefully a tempered glass protector once the device has been out a while and we know what's good.
I'm going with the Fit 2 for the freebie, wife wants it. SD cards are getting cheaper by the day, so I just buy them.

how excited will you be if you can't use web, or text, while on a call? If that happens, I'm returning mine, and buying a new note 3 or even new Note 2! (Won't buy used... maybe refurb, by factory)

After turning in my notes 7 and exchanging it for a S7 I found out that the promotion had been extended. Call Samsung for more info.

Yes. I called and had some questions about it and I was told it is still open for a little while longer. I'm waiting for the form to be emailed to me that will let me file.

I just called Samsung to inquire. The confirmed that the promotion was being extended "for about two weeks". He said to fill out the form as usual, but choose 10/09 as the purchase date and it will be approved. Interestingly, I had already done this on 10/11 (just to see what would happen) when I traded in my Note 7 V2 for the 7 Edge and it was immediately denied. He said it should have been approved and would "fix it" from his end.

That's strange I was told that I would have a form emailed to me but that hasn't happened yet.
Jumped to S7 Edge on 10/12/2016. Here's my response from Samsung.
It was definitely extended. Fill out your form and date it the 9th, it'll most likely be rejected and then you just call and they'll take care of you. I'm going to push my luck and ask for a case, since I bought mine from Amazon and my window to return passed before the recall.

Did it actually get fixed? I want to get the S7 Edge but 800 bucks is steep. I know samsung is offering 100 dollar credit but that is still 700 bucks. I am actually leading towards just the S7 and keeping the Note 5 as my back up phone.
I called Samsung in regards to the promotion extention. They said they will extend the date to apply for it by a few weeks but that the purchase date still has to be by the 9th of Oct.
If I can get a 256gb card, then for me it is worth getting, otherwise, somewhat hard for me to justify the price.
Has anyone else been able to get an approved submission after after buying the phone beyond the 9th of Oct?
unless you guys are gungho on having SamsungPay like I am you should all look up the OnePlus 3 its a great phone for half the price. I have it and if it had SP I would of never of gotten a Note

Yes, I got mine accepted. I got my S7 edge on Oct 12th.
I was notified via email that mine was accepted. Gathering shipping info now.
