In just about two days the WP7 is coming out. Who all is planning on getting one Monday?
Maybe just to get some free Katy Perry tickets (im currently in nyc but dont live here).
Anyways it would be nice to get it ASAP since my current wm 6.5 is falling apart. The FB app stop working and now the AP too.
Also everyday it gets more slugish and bugy etc. I'm tired of it.
I think the Focus will have a very nice display, but not sure about the plastic exterior. I'll be getting a Venue Pro, but that's also because I'm with T-Mobile. So my only choices are HD7 and VP. HTC has been cutting too many corners this time, so they will not be getting my money until higher quality phones start getting produced by them again.

i'm on t mobile too but since i'm 90% of the time have wifi so i'm probably going to wait and get the focus if it can be unlocked or the venue pro
Getting the phone yet bummed my 32GB Mico SD has been delayed shipping from an Amazon supplier. Wanted to load the phone right off the bat with maximum memory too.
EDITED: Decied to cancel the Class 2 32GB and get the Class 6 16GB
Ill have one Monday or possibly Sunday since that's when the AT&T stores actually get the phones. The guy at the store said he would call me Sunday when the phones arrive but I have my doubts.
I'm leaving sprint and HTC evo to try one out.

Strange they would get them on Sunday. Didn't know there were companies that did deliveries on Sunday. I went to the local Best Buy mobile yesterday and they already had the Surround. He hadn't even heard of the Focus.

I'll chime in on that - I plan on being there first thing Monday, but I will call tomorrow to see if they'll sell early. I've been calling since Thursday since that's when the Captivate was being sold early, but they've been pretty adamant about not selling these early. When I did call, they mentioned I could pick it up on Sunday, but when I went into the store today, both the regional manager and store manager said I'd have to wait. I'll just call tomorrow and see who's working

I called one of the stores today and they had the Focus but wouldn't sell. Dropped by Best Buy and they showed me the Surrounds, but they didn't even know when they would get the Focus. Sucks because I think I could have one if they had them. I'll try to get one from a retail AT&T tomorrow. If not, I'm going to be late for work Monday
Does anyone know what GPS chip is getting put in this phone. If it is the same one that they put in their Galaxy S phones I'm going to have to pass. I have a Captivate and the GPS is worthless.

I've seen a lot of people concerned about that as well. All the reviews I've seen said it's much better than the Galaxy phones. So I assume its a different chipset or better drivers.

I believe it's different also since this hardware is completely different that the SGS phones. Also, Bill Gates is using it, so I'd assume it'd work or he'd be on a different phone

Just home from the AT&T store.
Got a $100 "loyalty" discount, a 20% percent discount on the 32 gig memory card, (final price of $110) and 2 usb cords. Total cost out the door is $248.
The salespeople in the store knew nothing about the phone. They were asking me questions about it.
I was the first person to ask for one today.

Yep, I was even given a time tomorrow that they'll be allowed to give them out - 3 p.m. Not sure if I buy that, but he did say I was the only person who even asked
They didn't act like it was any big deal. I asked for one, and he just went into the back of the store and got it.
I had gone in last Wednesday to ask if they had the approved microsd card, and they said that they didn't have anything in the store yet, but that I could come in on Sunday and pick up the phone.
I'm having trouble with Zune. I can't get Zune to see the phone when I plug it into the computer. I don't know if it is because I already have a Zune 80 assigned to the computer or not.
Other than that, it is pretty snazzy.
I've been with AT&T for several years. 10 maybe? They weren't AT&T at the time...

For weeks I have been trying to take advantage of the BB 200. gift card offer for Sprint N4 white. checking the web site day and night every day, calling my local store NEVER in stock and "Sold out online" Offer ended last night, this morning for the first time my local store now has them in stock. What a scam.

I remember seeing and or reading that this offer was good on pre-orders on the note 4 which had a release day of 10/17 so that made the offer invalid after that. I heard of people using it towards an S5, i have no idea why but hey to each their own. I was also told that when my phone came in that they would only hold my pre order for a day.
They had the offer under "Weekly Specials" Oct26-Nov.1 for Note4 and S5
Could have purchased the s5 and returned within the 14 day period for note 4

Finally yesterday a bb 70 miles north had them in Stock. Hauled ass and bought one with a $200 trade in for an old LG Optimus m. Funny thing, when I got there the "consutants" couldn't find them. Chewed my nails for about an hour. Ended up being $165 out the door.
Had no problem with my trade in and 200 towards my note 4. All best buys in my are have had them all week.
They completely screwed me out of my $200 even on a pre-order. I had spoken with a rep who suggested I have the pre-order shipped to home to avoid the out of stock store issues (like she knew in advance it was going to happen). When I got my Note 4, I went to my local Worstbuy and they told me that it had to be picked up at the store. When I asked to see that in writing, the manager stuttered and walked away to send a message back through another associate that he couldn't honor it. When I went to another store the next day, I was told that the program was changed to the trade in had to be the most recent phone on that line. I wasn't giving up my Note 3, so he tried a few different things but couldn't override the system. He told me to just call Worstbuy back office and they will take care of it. After days of unanswered calls and ridiculous wait times, I sent a few emails. They each took 48 hours to answer, with no resolution yet. I'm waiting for the nonsense they will try to spew out next. This was the last time I pre-order anything through them, and quite possibly buy anything from them.

The black one came back in stock Friday and I went up first thing Saturday and purchased it. I traded in my old nexus 4g for it. I haven't had that active on my account for years. I also got the $50 phone freedom giftcard. So i paid $49.99 plus tax for my new note 4.

A moderator there, Allan-BBY, has been working relentlessly (weekdays only) to help straighten out customer issues by directly emailing managers of problematic stores. He has said many, many times that Best Buy corporate has decided it WILL honor all preorders regardless of when the device comes in. I have not heard anything about excluding ones placed after 10/17. Also, just tonight a regular employee from Best Buy mobile posted, confirming the system was still giving them the option to honor the promo.
If you're having problems, I highly suggest you make an account there and post a reply or directly message Allan-BBY so he can straighten things out with stores who are confused.

I also thought it was a scam. I called about 6 best buys a day and they all said they were still filling in pre-orders. Finally on Oct 31, I just went to the store thinking I would just get the S5 for now and then exchange it for a note 4 when they finally have it in stock within the 14 day period. Long and behold I walked in and asked if they had any note 4s in stock for Sprint and he said yes. I first thought they were joking and was a little surprised. I ended up upgrading 2 of our phones and got very lucky on getting them. I had my old EVO and an old MY Touch HTC one phone to trade in.
The sales rep started looking into the system to make sure my trade in phones were eligible and he said that EVO was eligible and the HTC one was not. Then I questioned him saying that your add says any working smart phone then he showed me something in fine print that said some BS that not all phones may be eligible. I was a little shocked so I asked him what system are they checking to see if the phones are eligible? He told me to go to bestbuy.com/tradein. So while I waited I started to look and long and behold that My touch HTC one was listed online so I showed it to him. He ended up saying he didn't see it because it was on the bottom of the list and they ended up giving me the rebate for both of the phones. I later find out from another sell rep that he didn't realize the phone was an HTC so he ended up looking for just "My touch" rather than "HTC My Touch". Lesson learned to make sure to look up the phone online before you go to the store.

So even though i got my not 4 on easy pay but again there's no record which shows that I have installment on this phone. That means i got my note 4 for only 30 dollars, but i should also receive $200 from sumsung. So now I'm thinking not to claim Samsung's money because they might call sprint and ask them about this phone. What do you guys think?

That is what the rep told us to do. They were sold out of the 4.
Left my local bestbuy last night and a couple blueshirts there told me that they would be releasing the S7 and S7 Edge this Monday. I was pre-ordering and asked when it came out and they told me I could pick it up on monday.
So if you preordered from bestbuy i'd recommend calling them and seeing if they are also releasing it early.
I don't know how truthful BestBuy is. I got my pre-ordered T-Mobile S7 on the 3rd of March and was told by my local BestBuy store that they had the Otterbox cases in stock for the S7. So I drive over to the store and find out that they have the cases in stock but won't be releasing them until the 11th of March because that's when the phones will be released. I will NOT be going back to BestBuy again!

I bought a surround sound system from them a month ago. He told me i was gonna get a discount and hed hook me up with an hdmi and optical cable. Then he was tryin to talk me into joinin their "rewards program" it was like every $100 you get a dollar or something. I was like, "it'd take me so long, im good" but i bought a tv a couple months before so he said i could get credit for that aswell. So finally i said, "well, your not gonna send me a bunch of emails if i sign up are you". He said, " haha noooooo"!
Long story kinda shortened.
I paid full price for the SS system.
I got a wopping $5 off a used hdmi cable. Which was $20
Paid full price for optical audio cable $25
Then at the end i said oh can we add my tv to the rewards program. (Of course the salesman left so i was left with some kid to check me out)
He said, "oh man we'd have to call customer service and i dont think theyd do it anyway"

They had no idea what I was talking about, and reaffirmed the 11th as the release date. This was yesterday, today my GF got a call that our phones have arrived and that we can pick them up tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. They had a Samsung rep there and I even showed him the phone, still wouldn't sell it. I went to U.S. Cellular, AT&T and even the new T-Mobile store in my town but neither had cases yet. Verizon store had the stuff out on display already so i bought my case and screen protector there.
I wondered who the *#&@ cares if I buy a piece of plastic for a phone that isn't "out yet"? I am giving you money, why do you care?! It was dumb as f.

Just got off the phone with my local BestBuy, they said that it should be no problem. She mentioned it would be FCFS based on available stock, dunno if this means you can get one shipped later, or if you are sol.
Well...that's kind of strange. The Best Buy website now shows the expected release date for the phone on my order as: "Null"?
The other 2 items still show expected release of 3-11-2016.
Edit: They just now changed the expected release date to 3-7-2016.

Yeah. I ordered two actually, got two seperate emails. I tried looking them up, but it says the name and phone number are wrong, didnt say anything about order number being wrong.
Edit: nevermind, it was under my old name. My att acct is kinda wonky haha.

Figured I'd take a shot at LG for the very first time. Hearing the BL is locked is sort of a bummer. Hopefully things will get worked out sooner rather than later.

I saw v20 stock at my store when I preordered on Friday... But they wouldn't let me leave with one. Stupid Sprint corporate.
I even called and chatted with sprint and they wouldn't do anything for me. They keep sending me texts to trade in my note 7, but wouldn't let when I tried.

I called my local store to see if they had stock and was told yes. I proceeded to unroot and relock my bootloader on my Nexus 6 to have it ready for swap (payment plan upgrade). Got my two kids in the car and headed to the store. Got there and they have no idea what I'm talking about but after some prompting decided to check their inventory. They say they have 6 in Titan but then the store manager can't find them, and basically tell me to go order it online as it won't be in store till the 25th and they couldn't sell me one anyways if they did have stock. I really just wanted to see and feel the phone, everything else I'm sold on. But the attitude I got when we are talking about hundreds of dollars worth of hardware and service, really astounds me. Anyway the moral of the story is YMMV as far as getting a v20 in store before the 25th. Smh I wanted silver anyways.....
it's a verizon store, what did you expect? everytime i goto corporate stores, they're all ignorant a**holes. i hate corporate verizon. i used to run an authorized retailer, and people would constantly tell us nightmare stories of corporate stores, and all i would do is agree, because i felt the same way. they're idiots, and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Long story short: I had a temp phone (V10) and couldn't get V20 until V10 was returned. So online wasn't an option for me.

That sucks. I got lucky I guess. I'm thrilled too - this is by far the best phone I've ever used (including the Note 7 which I had for a month).
Its funny, now that I had to go back to stock, I decided to flash a Nuget ROM and now I'm not sure if I want to upgrade, my n6 still really holds its on with new software.
My Verizon zone (authorized retailer) said not until Friday. After reading this, I think I'm gonna call every day lol.

I returned my Pixel XL Saturday, came home called the store to ask about resetting my updrade date. Ended up ordering after the cut off to have it shipped Saturday but I got my tracking info this morning and gets here tomorrow. Really looking forward to ths phone, I had to return my Note 7 and Samsung still shipped my my 256GB SD card for Free.

Same thing with me, but I got the s7 edge after my Note 7. Man, s7 edge software felt so half-baked compared to the Note 7. Also, the Note 7 curved back makes a huge difference when you hold the phone. I am returning my s7 edge and getting my v20 on wednesday and using my 256gb samsung card.
Quick question for those of you that got yours through verizon. Does it come with a factory screen protector? I'll be getting mine tomorrow and I have a case for it, but I couldn't seem to find a screen protector that was worth a damn. I really don't want to go naked until I find one if I can help it.

Yes it comes with a screen protector that can be used. Just has a small pull tab on it.
Yeah, its a cheap plastic screen protector. I'll keep it on till it bubbles up or starts to peal off.
