[Q] LG L5 doesn't work

hello i am from chile, so my english it's not the best
I accidentally installed a firmware to L7 on my L5 (e612) this are the problems:
- the screen goes white (its always "in" white)
the phone reset ramdomly so i cant use the kdz or the LG support tool (when the programs are looking for the phone it resets)
and also i cant get in to download mode.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

You tried a hard reset ? (-) and power button ?
And for the download mode you tried with more ports from your pc? I ask because i had this problem on my device, i couldn`t ente rin download mode because of my port from pc.
If you can go in download mode just install another kdz and all will be fine, but install a good one.

i tried that, and every 1 minute mi cellphone reset by it self, so i the program don't have the necesary time to recognize the phone and fix it.
i cant get in to dowload mode. hard reset doesn't work.

I had the same problem,Solved it with removin the battery,then put back on.Next i pluged the USB n then ive pressed vol down n power button n i was in download mode.But it took me to another problem.I had instaled custom JB n when the download finished it stayed on that custom ROM.The problem is that my phone is not rooted now and i cant get into CWM.Rooting tools doesnt work so idk what to do next.

can i have the JB?

the biggest problem: when i turn on the phone its that the screen don't show me anything,looks all white whit and a black frange downside, and it reset like every 1 minute

@Sabyn I found the JB n flashed it,flashed CWM and all is gd n runnin ty bro.

i cant do that because the cellphone reset, and y cant get in to download mode, also the screen its all white, i cant see anithing, i just listen the music of LG boot

take ur battery off,put it back on,hold volume down n plug the USB in,that worked for me.then u shud be in download mode.start KDZ n set it up n click start download

yeah, be sure you take out the battery, wait a few seconds and after put it again, after hold + and - and plug the usb to phone ( which is already connected to pc) and it will enter in download mode, after flash the kdz

Hmm.I got in download mode only with vol down,why is so diffrent from one device to another device?
EDIT: With vol+ n vol- m gettin into fastboot i guess

Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, turn off your phone and unplug it. Then enter emergency mode as described. Then wait 1-2 minutes to see if your phone is restarting. If not, continue flashing with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

hi.. i have install the cyanogenmod 10... after that the device don't read the sim. I search on the internet how to fix it and resut that I have to flash v10 baseband. go in cwm, flash again cm, and btw, if is cm10.1 or .2, you need to flash v20baseband

BOOTLOOP i REALLY NEED YOUR HELP

So people i just got bootloop, my phone was working fine till i updated Facebook Messenger Instagram and L Speed Apps, i rebooted my phone and i got bootlooped, i tried everyhthing, my PC cant regonize the phone, i tried with TWRP Power+ Vol and nothing happens its not putting me in recovery menu it say restard and puts me in LG Boot again...i dont know what to do....

Are vol + up buttons right? cause i tried and nothing hapenned,
somehow i plugged out and in my battery and usb cable together and my phone has balckscreen now but its regonized from my pc as LG Androidnet Phone... will this work with flash tool so i can flash new kdz and fix bootloop?

So im trying to flash new stock rom but it stops at 10% ats says that flash stopped due an error
...i dont know what to do anymore for real :/

tried this it gives me bootloopo again.... somehow i entered Download mode and my phone started flashing new stock....im gonna post if this works...if not im waiting for help

Ok i fixed it... anyone opinion about what cause the bootloops?

Congratulations for fix it! Ok, messenger, facebook and Instagram updates seem ok, but, L speed apps? what are those for? It sounds they are mods or something like that, right?
If yes, maybe those updates could cause the issue.
I wouldn't trust on them again, just in case. In that context, why don't you try Tomos's tweaks to get the most for your phone? They are specially made for our device and work like a charm in the mine one.
By the way: Xcam is my default camera now. Thanks for that.

Man I am not able to enter into download mode please help me. I have tried every possible combination but nothing is working. My phone is only showing lg logo.

P8 stuck at boot

Hi to everyone ^^
I have here a P8, stuck on boot with the "TIM" logo (operator). I can't even shutdown it.
Is not mine and I still need to know more information about which firmware it had before get this sort of brick, anyway...
I can't enter in recovery (Power-vol+)
I can't enter in EMUI mode ( Power- Vol+ - Vol -)
....BUT I can enter in fastboot&rescue mode.
I've already unlocked the bootloader and I can flash everything....but still, I can't get access to the recovery or EMUI mode T___T
Does exist a "Generic" firmware that works for unbrick this phone?
Do you have any suggest or link for some Recovery/Boot/Cust file?

This is the result...The device doesn't support system recovery.

Anyway this is my situation...I can just use the fastboot, or see the "Bootlogo" for the rest of my life......(or battery )

Have you tried a forced update by placing a full ROM named "Update.app" in a folder called "DLOAD" on the external SD card and then pressing and holding all three buttons ?

SD ready, power on the phone holding all three buttons, but nothing to do... it just start normally and get stuck on logo. =(

Nokia 6 Oreo Beta - No recovery!

Ever since i flashed my Nokia 6 with the Oreo Beta update i no longer have access to the recovery menu.
I want to update to Oreo Final, but how can i do that now?
My Nokia is a TA-1000 model, but recognized as TA-1025.

There is 2 way to access recovery menu:
Normal Way:
Step 1) Turn the power off.
Step 2) Hold and Press Volume up + Power Button for about 10 second and release
Step 3) If you see Nokia logo it means failed repeat step 2
Step 4) If you see no command Android logo it means success
Step 5) In no command Android logo Press Volume up + Power Button + Home Button(Center One)
Step 6) You will see recovery menu
Developer Way:
Step 1) In the System->About Phone Tap Build Number Multiple Time to enable developer mode
Step 2) In Developer options enable usb debugging
Step 3) Connect your phone to computer using usb and Allow the access.
Step 4) Download sdk tools from developer.android.com
Step 5) Open adb by cmd and type "adb devices" to detect your phone
Step 6) Then type "adb reboot recovery" to force your phone to reboot and open recovery
Step 7) You should get no command Android logo
Step 8) In no command Android logo Press Volume up + Power Button + Home Button(Center One)
Step 9) You will see recovery menu

Reflash the mena firmware and wait if you receive otas. If not, you could flash the zip for final oreo. However, I think there's not the link for ta-1025 yet.

Every zip work on TA-1025/and MENA firmware
Because, internally mena firmware is also TA-1025 and all OTA zips are made and targeted to TA-1025 varient only
So you can even flash OREO FINAL VERSION ALSO

Tried flashing Oreo Final after finding the recovery, now my phone is broken.
Flashing didnt finish and it would no longer boot.
Tried restoring to an older firmware with OST LA, now it just flickers all the time.
Sometimes i see the recovery screen, but then it flickers off again.
Cant do anything anymore. Its broken.

Try installing OTA manually
when u see the recovery menu, move to the OTA folder and install
Install till January, and then try the OTA of OFFICIAL OREO
this might work, you need to have patience and quick to install the OTA

Tried it. Phone just keeps flickering. No longer reacts to anything i do and i cant use the recovery at all. Most of the time the screen is black then it suddenly flashes the recovery for a second.
Cant input any button commands and cant chose anything there.

Can you do one thing,
Its okay it flickers
Try this
When you think you are in recovery mode but still cant see
Then
Just press volume down 4 time(not so quickly, you should know that you pressed it 4 times)
Then click power button
Click one time volume down button
Then again power button
After 20 second press power button
Wait for to reboot the device, if it doesn't
Try force rebooting

Doesnt work. Forcing a reboot doesnt work either.
Soft reboot works, but i cant get into download mode this way.

These steps are for hard reset not for download mode
Well i have one solution for you, but its lil expensive
I have firmware, which can be installed through infinity CM2 dongle
This dongle can upgrade, downgrade and do much things on Nokia devices
It costs 70 US dollar
This can only work for you, cause Nokia care will replace your motherboard, they wont repair it, because even they don't know how to deal with it
So if you can buy this dongle then you can flash it else wait for OFFICIAL OREO firmware to be come soon

When phone is powered off, connect charger and keep pressing volume down +power button. It should take you straight to download mode.
I had exact problem and by coincidence today
Can u see the no cammand page of recovery.
If yes then try pressing both volume up and Power button together. Try again and again it must take you to recovery... If you land in recovery only for once you just have to select the reboot to bootloader option, so the download mode will open then.. then use OST

Im also having the same problem, after oreo stable update in my nokia 6 im not able get into recovery mode. Please someone help!

I'm discovered, that Windows 10 and USB 3.0/3.1 may cause problems with flashing using OST. If you can, use USB 2.0 ports and older Windows operating system (in my case - Windows 8.1). I also bricked my phone and my new notebook cannot communicate with my phone, after use OST using my older PC - it communicate without any problem

No need of older windows i have done it (today) on windows 10 (64bbit) with USB 3.0 port today.. and now i am typing this from my recoverd Nokia 6.
All you need is that your .NETFramework version 3.5 is enabled in windows and you install OST tool properly which includes all drivers.
Bdw my windows 10 is on Fall Creator update.

Idk, but maybe it depends by hardware and software configuration... I also installed OST with all frameworks included in package without any success. Phone starts flashing and... reboots into recovery mode after +/- 10% of flashing progress. But it's my own flash experience
And yep, I also using W10 Fall Creators Update (10.0.16299.192) x64

That reboot thing also occurred with me in first try... All you had to do is press Volume down and power till phone goes back to download mode. And just press next again

Exactly, @minhas729 even i did all the things from my windows 10 fall creator update and though windows 10 is the best OS to flash phones, it rarely ask for phone drivers or anything, everything is pre-installed and you can just go straight to flashing, automatically system updates downloads all required things automatically.
So no need to go back to the old windows OS to flash it. And also its true on the first go, the OST tool gives error and stuck to flashing splash....
All you need it try once again, second time it flashes successfully

Last night i installed oreo stable in my nokia 6 and i wanted to reset and clear cache partition, since i wanted a fresh start. And i tried to go to recovery mode and i was stuck at no command screen and i accidentally did a combination of " press and hold the power button then press the volume up button once". This took my phone to recovery mode from no command screen.

Nokia 6 - Stuck as Download mode since 3 weeks

Hi, I'm using Nokia 6 ( TA 1000) mobile with Playstore ( i purchased it local mobile shop and they said it's with Play-store. but i haven't received any update from 2017- April security update.
so i found some ways to manual update (https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-6/how-to/nokia-6-official-firmware-mena-region-t3664441) and i followed some steps form Xda forum. finally i got oreo update, but my mobile model change to TA-2025 and sounds/camera quality dropped. ( sound looks like mono speaker)
then i tired to go back to old model using OSTLA_v6.1.2.zip
but unfortunately mobile goes to download mode and now it's not turn on or turn off. (display on until battey low )
"Powered by android - download mode" test only in background
Is there a way to fix this issue ? i didn't found any place to fix i

When i connect charger, then it's automatically power ON and goes to download mood.
so i tired power off phone in charger, but then it's always restart only ( goes to download mood)

yes, it's work for power off ( display "shout down" in the top left side for the 1st time), but when i plug charger, once again it's goes to download mode.

edit: It seems OST tool won't work. If we are on 8.1
Try use OST LA and flash stock firmware again. Sorry i never used it, so i can't help more.
If you need EDL cable, but it is ordinary usb cable. Only 2 wires put together when flash.
You go always download mode, so i think you not need.

Try use OST LA and flash stock firmware again. Sorry i never used it, so i can't help more.
If you need EDL cable, but it is ordinary usb cable. Only 2 wires put together when flash.
You go always download mode, so i think you not need.

Connect ur phone with computer
And open command in OST LA folder
Type this =
fastboot continue
and press enter

mobile restarting and getting "usb detect" sound in PC continues. it's not stop until unplug

Hey guys, Nokia 6 mobile handover to the small repair shop in the town and, now Mobile is working fine, with the TA-1021 and i have updated to Android 9. (may 1, 2019 Security update.)
but now sounds are very loud and it's very annoying. i don't know what happened. but sound quality dropped to very low. and also Mobile camara quality also like VGA camara.
is there a way to fix this issue ? or restore to the original TA-1000 version. :crying: :crying: :crying:

if you have unlocked bootloader, it much easier just download NOST by hikary, and some stock nougat rom.
just flash and it work again.
My ta-1021 have this couple month ago, stuck on download after downgrade from nougat to oreo.

in stock all phone will ship with locked bootloader.
to check just reboot your phone, in "powered by android" display there is a message or not.
if not your phone has locked bootloader.

hmm. only powered by android logo, and then nokia Logo.

is there any tutorials to unclock this bootloader ? my mobile is Nokia 6, TA 1000 ( but current firmware is TA-1021 - android 9 latest update) i want to go back to TA- 1000 or TA 1003 (happy to use android 9 with ta 1000 or ta 1003)
