Hi,
I have the Singapore Dual Sim S7 edge and just now flashed the latest Indian FW with CSC..
The thing is on the Singapore FW, I used to get the Extra volume button in the in-call menu. While after flashing the indian FW, I'm getting it in the More option during the call as shown in the attachments.
Is the extra volume button available in the More option only in the Indian FW? Also, can I get the extra volume button now instead of Video call button ( which is useless anyways)
PS:- Do you see any VOLTE setting anywhere ? I have VOLTE working but no setting anywhere

Since I upgrade my s7 edge to oreo, cell standby used up a lot of battery, most of the time more than screen.Anyone knows how to fix this problem?Thank you
I have the same problem, and this is a bad one....
Putting Apps to sleep is not helping
Same problem

Galaxy s7 (not edge) same issue after oreo update. Non of the apps report high battery usage.
galaxy a5 (2017), same problem
Maybe a battery calibration with some free software would solve this issue?
I solved it by performing these 2 steps:
Step 1 (soft reset):
- Press and hold the Power and Volume Down button simultaneously until the screen turns off.
- The device will reboot automatically. You will soon see the Samsung logo. If not, just press and hold the power button.
Step 2 (clear device cache):
- Turn off the Galaxy S7, and then press and hold the Volume Up, Bixby, and Power button simultaneously.
- On the Android recovery screen, use the Volume Down button to navigate down to wipe cache partition and press the Power button to select it.
- Use the Volume Down button to select Yes — delete all user data, and then press the Power button to confirm.
- Wait for the reset to finish and press the Power button when prompted with the message to Reboot system now.
After these two steps the battery drain issues were over.
Clearing the cache did nothing to improve my situation. I'm really tired of having to do a factory reset every time a major update comes out. It's not acceptable. I'm not convinced that it will even fix it due to all of the reports of people still having issues after doing so.
My galaxy s7 edge is consuming a lot of battery when im not using it. Android services including phone idle are taking up a lot of the battery. I also noticed the settings app stating 54% battery used since last update.

If u check Sammobile, you will find out that UK(BTU) got three Oreo firmwares in two weeks and they have same change list....
All rest regions got only one Oreo firmware.
So since the leak was from UK, they didnt recall, just rolled it out fast (even with bugs) on ppls demmand!
I think Samsung still looking for that issue and the fix will be rolled out soon!
Check it your self: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935F/BTU/

Ok sounds good.. yesterday night I reverted to stock Nougat 7.0..
Same issue
I am having the same issue, I flashed to Oreo and did not recieve OTA. So my phone was factory reset and after this upgrade I have had horrible battery performance. Im talking about 35% left by lunch time. Before update I would be anywhere around 60-70% depending. So did reverting back to 7.0 fix the battery drain issue.
i used kingo root to root my phone and originally encounted the back button s only works with spen issue , but about an hour later after restarting my phone and trying to unroot none of my buttons would work even using my s pen , now my power button no longer will lock my phone or bring up the restart /powerdown option, my volume buttons are unresponsive , my home button does nothing when powered on , and my back and menu buttons still dont respond , but the buttons work to do system commands , (ex:restore mode, or odin mode) so i know they dont need replacing, and phone is not in a case, idk anyone can help would be awesome
see your other post .
Please don't use very old stuff read first .
If you can get into download mode, verify the model # and flash the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com, updato.com, or Samsung-firmware.org using Odin.
Hello guys, I have a problem with my Galaxy Note 3 phone. Touch no longer works well. When I touch the phone, it does not respond at the same moment. It responds about two seconds later. The matter itself is with the touch buttons, the volume up and down button, the power button and the home button, the touch is a press extended on the screen, the problem I only face it in the operating system, but when I close the phone and go to the menu through which we format the phone, the volume up and down button and the power button are working normally. I temporarily solved the problem by installing another operating system, but after a week the problem returned again
I can't use my phone please help me

My original model of My note 3 is sm-n900 h3g
But now I'm using an installed rom (note 8 rom)
I don't know how to get the other informations
Flash stock rom and test .
How to do this?
but as you are using a custom rom just restore your backup .
Download stock rom and flash via Odin /
Firmware on many sites sammobile samsung- updates etc .
Instructions :
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes
But the problem was present since the previous rom (the official ROM for the Note 3), the problem appeared suddenly, and the custom rom I was using last year(the custom rom that I'm using now) had no problems, the problem is present and sometimes when I restart the phone the problem disappears until I restart the phone again
Then you require a service repair shop .
Her is a video about the problem I face
