Hi guys
Some help please.
I am returning my s4 to stock due to a dodgy home button and I have run triangle away, flashed a stock ROM
the current binary is Samsung Official &
System Status is Official.
All the counters are set to 0x0
which is great.
The problem is the phone does not boot, it stays stuck at the boot screen.
I've tried to boot into the official recovery to reformat the phone, but I can;t get into the recovery either.
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers

Hi,
The way I get into recovery is:
1.remove the battery
2.replace the battery
3.hold volume up + power button
4.as soon as you see the blue writing in the top corner , let go of everything and tap the volume down button.

- Point n° 3 procedure IS ONLY FOR I9505 (qualcomm)
in case of I9500 (sammy core) the 3 buttons combo is the only way to get recovery or downlad mode.
The Op didn't state about his S4 model.
Cheers guys
3 button combo worked on i9505

Your only option is to fix that button. Clearly a hardware issue.
but sometimes it works..the issue came in existence after i put my frien's sd card on my phone
so i had a little doubt that its a hardware issue
anyway
thank you for your help
i will contact my customer care center for that
Hello everyone, I hope you are all fine.
I just brought an S4 2 days ago, and I was forced to Root it using Odin.
The process went well I had my phone rooted and working Fine,Until today when I was listening to music in my phone, and I wanted to turn down the Volume a little bit, but the Volume down button didn't work !!!( it's not a hardware probleme because it was working perfect this morning, but after I gave the phone to my lil sis she had done something in the settings I thinks), so after that I tried to turn off my phone to see if the volume button will work(it was the first time I shut down the phone after the root),and then an error showed up with a yellow triangle on the bottom of the screen, the error message is ''Warning!! A custom OS can cause a critical problems in your phone and installed applications. If you want download a custom os press the volume up key. Overwise, press Down key to cancel. Volume up : continue Volume down cancel ( restart phone) '' . I tried to press both Volume buttons but it didn't work, so I tried to shut it down again and press volume up buton +home+ power button then the phone turned on with the Samsung galaxy S4 screen I was so happy but when it did turn on it was On safe mode -_- , right now I can't flash the room because I can't press the Volum Up button to Continue to Download mode, Right now I'm still at safe mode and waiting for your ideas , Please help me guys I'm new in this Forum a friend of mine told me to post here and they will help you.So please help me.
So you're no longer stuck in download mode but are in safe mode. Power off the S4 and turn it back on. If safe mode reappears then your volume down button is stuck. [EDIT] If you cannot enter download mode, your volume up button is stuck. Exchange the S4 for another unit if possible. If not possible, whack the left edge gently against a table to try and unstick the button. If that doesn't work the button on the motherboard needs to be replaced.
Hi Folks -
Bricked my Tab - go me..
At present it's sitting at the "An error has occurred Use the Emergency Recovery function in the Smart Switch Software" screen.
What have I done:
Reload ROM -
Odin sees device - starts transfer Errors at first bar (I've since learned it may not be possible due to version of Tab or vendor lock )
Fine - i'll follow the on screen advice:
Loaded Smart Switch - " Device not recognized"
- Reloaded drivers still not recognized
Fine I'll talk to Samsung support:
Out of warranty, you can ship it to us, we'll see what we can do. How much? Depends..
Ok - I'll do a hard reset: -
Hold Power + Volume up + Home = no effect
Hold Power + Volume down + home = get's to the download screen
Hold Power + Volume Down + home - when screen goes black push volume up (holding the other 2) just goes back to the 'there was an error screen"
I've looked through forums and posts tried all the hints/tricks, etc.. It's stuck between the Download Screen and the you done wrong screen.

greetings, after processing the twrp file in odin, when I want to open the twrp menu of the device, first the system update is installed, then it says there is no command and then the old recovery menu comes, any idea? (device samsung galaxy j5 J510fQ)
Uncleck 'auto reboot ' in Odin options.
When Odin shows "PASS", take your device in hands, disconnect the usb cable and press simultaneously the "Home" + "Vol. Down" + "Power" buttons until the downoad mode disappears
At the precise moment the screen becomes black, immediately release the "Vol.Down" button and press the "Home" + "Vol. UP" + "Power" buttons during 10 to 15sec to forcefully enter TWRP.

Also try waiting 168 hours in system without reboot.
