Bricked my Tab - go me..
At present it's sitting at the "An error has occurred Use the Emergency Recovery function in the Smart Switch Software" screen.
What have I done:
Reload ROM -
Odin sees device - starts transfer Errors at first bar (I've since learned it may not be possible due to version of Tab or vendor lock )
Fine - i'll follow the on screen advice:
Loaded Smart Switch - " Device not recognized"
- Reloaded drivers still not recognized
Fine I'll talk to Samsung support:
Out of warranty, you can ship it to us, we'll see what we can do. How much? Depends..
Ok - I'll do a hard reset: -
Hold Power + Volume up + Home = no effect
Hold Power + Volume down + home = get's to the download screen
Hold Power + Volume Down + home - when screen goes black push volume up (holding the other 2) just goes back to the 'there was an error screen"
I've looked through forums and posts tried all the hints/tricks, etc.. It's stuck between the Download Screen and the you done wrong screen.

Hi!
I have some interesting problem and I could not find any solution in web.
I have Samsung galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T535 LTE.
For unknown reasons device went to "Device memory damaged" mode (white screen with blue notification) and only one button "Reset device".
Luckily this button to nothing (you can push on it as many times us you want - no reaction).
I tried to make soft reset (Power + volume down buttons) - no reaction.
Tried to lunch recovery mode (Power + volume up + home buttons), after that I get notification, that recovery mod is lunching, android error symbol appears (without any text) and device automatically reboots.
I tried to connect tab to PC, PC found the device, ODIN recognized it, but if I try to upload something, nothing is working (probably do to that, that I need to enabled download mode, but I cannot do it, because recovery mod not launching).
Maybe you have some suggestions.
Help please still getting trouble with charging so tried to get into recovry mode to clear cache again. Dont know what i did but phone is stuck on a blue screen saying Downloading do not turn off target.

Got it to reboot and Samsung have told me to take it to service center for a warranty repair for the charging problem and the red line on my screen so hopefully will get it sorted may even get a replacement
You've entered download mode by pressing VOL DOWN+home+power instead of VOL UP +home+power

This phone was given with issue from my friend. Is it fixable ? ( I really don't know what version of rom flashed before.)
When power on - Getting "recovery booting..." in blue color on top left after that next screen is "effacement en cours..."
after that no luck same screens when ever i try to power on.
tried many things, no luck.

* Select File in PDA
* Uncheck Auto Boot in Odin (Important This Step )

* After Flash complete Disconnect yur mobile Remove battery Wait for 20
Insert Battery Pwr ON yur Mobile
* If downgraded From 4.4.2 Hard rest it Mobile should Boot
* After flash Hard reset it if not Booted

Well I had the same issue for almost a week the phone it self booted to twrp and when I hit reboot it gave a blue screen and the again to twrp and again and again
My issue was fixed after a power button replace

Anyways my issue is different like getting power on and getting recovery booting in the top left in blue color but i screen android logo after that saying erasing in progress.
Must be a hardware glitch I guess get it inspected at a service center or local repair shop

I am able to flash roms ... but still no booting only possible to go download mode. Tried flashing twrp aswell no luck.
Has anyone able to solve this "Recovery booting.." issue... im facing this now.
Hey guys, yesterday I tried to reset my phone and lock the boot loader because I was going to sell my phone but I got stuck on (ODIN MODE : AVB Fail ) screen. and no matter what key combinations I use the phone goes back to the same screen and wouldn't let me go into recovery or so.
I saw online that some said to flash the official ROM in ODIN and it will get back to working again but my laptop doesn't recognise my phone when I plug it in
Please help me if someone knows a fix for this.
I use a MacBook Pro M1 if anyone is wondering
I have S10 stuck at Download mode as well (though of a different reason).
For me at least putting into recovery mode works like this:
turn off the phone
(it automatically goes to download mode)
plugin the phone to the PC (this step might even be optional; but is required for me for some reason)
cancel Download Mode with keys as instructed on the screen:
Volume Down + Power (more than 7 secs)
IMMEDIATELY after try to put the phone into recovery mode:
hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power
Then from recovery you might be able to do smth
After (more or less) successfully flashing my S10 5G (assume S10+ as it has 6.7 Inch display) to a custom ROM, I got nag screens from Knox security telling me it wasn't running the software Samsung wanted it to, dangerous etc. and fiddled around some more, when I accidentally bricked it with a failed Odin transfer.
Now it only shows a turquoise colored screen with a big precaucion icon and the words "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software" but I'm not sure to what this exactly refers and whether really Samsung software is prepared to catch up this situation. It does show up in Odin but I can't seem to get it back working.
Any help is much appreciated!
You can use Samfirm and odin to restore firm :
It explain how to install official ROM and how root , just ignore Magisk install and the AP repatch.
To force download mod , push power and vol - to force restart the phone ... and when the screen going off , push bixby and vol - and directly put the usb cable in the phone from your pc. To valid the download mod press vol +.
