S6 Edge+ Blackscreen but digitizer is working - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good day XDA peeps! I have a problem with my S6e+. Sometimes the screen just randomly shuts off but I can still use the touchscreen. Example is if someone's calling me i will just swipe the screen to the right even if I cannot see anything because good thing I got the commands memorize in my head. It does that randomly.
It started doing this problem when I was using the fast charger. I noticed that when using fast charger my screen is just black, but I can use the touchscreen. It will light up around 80% battery (maybe when my phone is not hot anymore from charging). But when I untick the fast charging option, it doesn't make my screen black. But now, the problem is getting worse and worse. It sometimes shut off by itself. I need to try around 10-20 times by pressing the power button until it shows me the display. I've tried doing a clean install in Odin by flashing a stock MM 6.0.1 but the problem still persists.
What could be the problem of my phone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Weird phone problems

Hello, I first got a G1 yesterday, it was only unlocked, not rooted or anything. It seems whenever I put the phone on charge it becomes really whacky. The phone doesn't respond nearly as well and isn't really accurate. Sometimes you have to tap an icon and it takes seconds to finally notice what you did. Swiping screens is such a task and same with dragging down the notifications bar.
I ended up rooting it last night, the same problems still persist.
This only happens when charging. Once you unplug it, it works just like it should. Plug it back in, problems occur again.
Thanks for any help.
This is apparently quite common.
My phone gets a little strange when it's plugged in, with the touchscreen being a little off, but nothing as bad as yours.
Weird..
Hmph, I'll be fine with it. Don't use it too much while charging. Except for general messaging. Haven't really tried to see if that's laggy or whatever while charging.

Strange problem in my Lg G2

Hello Guys
My lg g2 has a very strange problem !!
Every thing is operating normally in the phone till battery reachs 60%
Once it be 60% the screen stuck in black most of times
Knock feature doesn't wake up the device, also the power button
After pressing 10s times on power button and knocking on the screen sometimes open sometimes not.
It needs to be plugged in wall charger to operate semi normal (it works good in the charger but it do stuck for one or two times only)
I noticed that the screen is Lighting up but it shows black only no data at all
And some times gives black only.
I tried to restart my phone. It restarts normaly but the screen still black even lg logo didn't appear but it opens with black again.
The screen is working i can hear my touch sound ( swipe look, answering phone call, volume up and etc.)
All this happened only once the battery reachs 60%
My devise not rooted, updated to lollipop, i did hard and soft reset, connected the devise to lg pc suite
Nothing helped. Also my battery is draining super fast even in charger !!!
Do you have any ideas? Is it battery problem or cables or what?
Any suggestions??

Screen stopped working, burning out?

SO Sunday morning I wake up and my phone has been on charge all night, its 100%, I unplug the phone and about 10 minutes later its very hot and at around 60% battery. So to stop this I go to turn it off and start seeing these red "bubbles" under the screen like water but its the LEDs turning red. I have never dropped the phone or put it under water. Its a hot day as it is and about 5 hours later I turn the phone back on and its fine for around 15 minutes watching youtube videos, it then starts flashing black, like the whole screen shuts off for half a second and comes back, still sound playing, about 5 minutes later the phone starts glitching out and the pixels on the right hand side start turning red (no link) like so. Then the phone starts jumping between that and this ( no link ) which happened for around a minute and since then the phone screen is just black and doesnt display anything but the phone is still active and had feedback on the screen such as touch vibrations. Really want to know whats happened and why if anyone can help
Probably a hardware defect that will be covered under warranty. But possibly a software problem that's causing the cpu and gpu to run really hot. You can try booting into safe mode to see if that makes a difference:
Shut the phone off and let it cool down.
Boot into safe mode: https://www.google.com/search?q=gal...rome..69i57.3932j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Use the phone for a while, and see if the problem reoccurs. (Your 3rd party apps will be disabled, so you won't be able to use them, but you can do other things.)
If this seems to solve the problem, delete any recently installed apps, or factory reset the phone, and see if the problem stays resolved. If so, add your apps back in a few at a time, so if the problem reoccurs you'll have an idea what caused it.
If none of this solves the issue, it's a hardware problem.
My wife had EXACT same problem. Backup everything while you can as my wife's phone died few hours later. (no display at ALL - digitizer was working fine though - so could shut down, etc). Symptom also was that when you reboot, it will display the boot up screen just fine, but as soon as all white screen was able to display, display will just die, etc. Pressing power button repeatedly would eventually turn on the screen but color would be off and simmering, etc.

Note 3 screen goes black but comes back

I have a issue that has perpetually got worse as time goes on. My screen will just black out for no reason, usually only comes back with a battery pull. Occasionally it will turn back on if I press the sides which made believe it was the connector so I took the back off and disconnected the screen cable and reconnected it. Problem still continues. Tried safe mode in case it was an app, still happening. BTW when this happens my lights on my buttons still light up but as the screen is unresponsive I end up having to pull the battery and usually that works (sometimes takes more then once to do it) Other then that the phone works fine. This happens minimum 3 times a day. And lastly if the screen needs to be replaced, what's that run cost wise? Or can just a cable be replaced?

Blank screen and unresponsive until battery drains problem

Hey,
So I've got the SM-G935F and need some advice with this problem and ideas on the likely cause.
The phone works fine with an ok battery life considering its age, but at some point the following happens:
The phone freezes and becomes totally unresponsive. If the screen is on at the time it freezes with a few lines across it, and after a while it goes black.
The phone is totally unresponsive to all button combinations include Vol- + Power, Vol+ + Home + Power, etc. I tried them all and the phone does not respond to any of them.
Plugging the phone into the charger does nothing. No signs of charging, no response to buttons, nothing
The phone feels warm, suggesting that there is a high drain on the battery.
The only way out is to leave the phone like that until the battery gets drained and it feels cools again (usually a for hours from full charge) at which point plugging it into the charger indicates battery is completely flat
Clearly I tried all the reboot, restart button combinations... nothing works. I did a factory reset as well as an ODIN re-flash with the stock rom - did not help.
I was told that this happens when the phone is under the load, however I could not reproduce it like that. However, it most recently happened with the phone turned off and plugged into the charger - when I took it off it would not turn on and continued to feel warm util drained.
So to me it all indicates to a hardware problem, possibly a short circuit. Any experience with a problem like this and the cause.
I was hoping it is a battery issue, but the fact that the phone works as normal otherwise suggests otherwise. Maybe a battery connector short circuiting?

No.
Well, kinda... I bought another identical phone with a broken screen and used its main board.
