I just wiped and reinstalled stock using Droid Razr M Utilities 1.10, and it worked fine up untill i updated from 4.1.1 to whatever the newest update is, after the green bar was finished the screen turned off and now it wont turn back on, i have tried Power + Vol down for more than 2 mins, i tried leaving it charge for a couple hours and then tried vol down + Power again, and it still didnt work, please help, and thanks
Let it sit on the charger overnight, then try again. Do you get a green light when it's charging?

Nope!
Something similar happened a couple of days ago. Held the power button for around 10 seconds and a red notification light came on. I think it was flashing as well. About 10 or so minutes later the screen came on. This time the phone is just dead...
Have you tried any button combos like- power + volume up + volume down.
Also did the phone run out of battery normally or was there any battery drain?
This doesn't look good for n4.
Hold power and vol +/- to enter recovery mode and then restart.
But before make sure ur charger or outlet works.

None of the combos work. It's as if it's not charging...
Weird. Plugged it into my laptop to check if that worked. Nothing. Plugged it back to the mains and a red notification light started flashing. After about a minute the screen came on with the battery animation. I managed to switch the phone on now. The wallpaper was reset to the stock one, but everything else seems to be fine.
Hi, so I've been doing a fair bit of reading, but I've not really found anything thats exactly like my issue.
So I got the Nexus 4 yesterday, today I've been using it for probably 3 hours, it was charged overnight last night to 100% and was still at about 65% when the phone randomly rebooted, no force close or anything. So it attempted to boot back up, showed the Google logo and then the nexus X, before going to a black screen.
From here I can't turn it back on, I've tried:
Power - up to 60 seconds
Power + Vol Up - up to 30 seconds
Power + Both Vol - up to 60 seconds
I then plugged it in to the wall (using the charger provided), there is no sign of life still, no battery charging screen, no flashing red led.
If I hold down the power button, while the phone is on charge, I do get the flashing red led.
Is this a case of leaving it to charge and assuming the battery is completely drained, or should I be contacting Google to start an RMA?
Should probably say, as I've only had it a day, no root, no custom rom, everything stock and on 4.2.2
Thanks.

I am not rooted, no mods at all running MM. Phone randomly rebooted after I sent a text. No worries cause it came back on no problem. About 3 hours later it reboots again, this time it flashes the moto boot screen maybe 4 to 5 times, then black. Won't come back on, can't boot into any recovery with power and volume down, nothing. Battery was at 49% when this happened but even with plugging it into the wall, I see no led letting me know that it is even charging. Any ideas?

i'm stuck with black screen, blue led... and no buttons responding. inserting charging cable does nada.
Force reboot (Volume down+Power) does not working.
Can I save it?
Does color of led change when you're plugging the charger? I would recommend you different combinations volup + home + power/ voldown + home + power. If it won't help, wait till the phone runs out of battery and then plug the charger

I've been waiting for like more than 24 hours till no sign of led , then I plug charger but nothing happen when I try combo keys.
Hopefully any solution since I bought this phone by online ( international version ) with no warranty.
my phone was working fine (Verizon) after the nougat update and tonight when i plugged it in to charge i also restarted the phone and it never booted into android, It's stuck on the verizon logo boot screen with the blue light on. I tried turning the phone off, wiping cache, safe mode, etc... nothing seems to be working.
Any thoughts? i don't want to lose my data...
