high system load average? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello,
i noticed that the my system load average from the developer option (show cpu usage) is always around 12/18/28, i know that anything above 1 is bad. should i be concerned about this? ( running stock rom / kernel on i9500 )

Higest Overclocking?

i know this might b a stupid question and a question that has been asked alot... i did a search and couldnt find an answer but my question is what is the highest you overclocked your phone and it was stable? im currently running at 240 stable and im sure this will answer alot of questions for anybody who is new to overclocking thx in advanced
dont really think that that many people push it to the max
as both ram speed and sd ram interface being a much bigger bottleneck then cpu
so overclock is more likely to cost precious batt time then anything usefull
I've noticed that my MDA becomes unstable after 230 or so. I'm using an old 1.08 IPL/SPL rom if that has anything to do with it. I have Battery Status so I just use the CPU scaler and it works pretty well.
I'm running @ 232 and have been for months with no noticeable additional battery drain. Running a more-or-less stock WM5.
When i have some high quality video files or a bit more complex software that wizard can't handle at standard frequency (like quake), i run it @260MHZ without any problems. I went up to 273MHz a few times, and it worked fine with TCPMP, but i never used this setting for more than about 20 minutes. When i used different programs (not only the video player) and switched between them (read: normal pda use) i had a few system frezes @273MHz, so i don't consider it a safe setting
I use Battery Status to scale between 147 to 247 with boost set to 260. I have never once in 4 months had it lock up. I use a very stable rom though so that has to help. When using other less stable roms I was getting lock ups often.

[ GUIDE ] Best ROM + KERNEL + SETTINGS combination for perfect battery life.

I recently bought the oneplus one and was a lot disappointed with the battery life! The max I got with many combination of ROMs and kernels was 3 hrs.
But finally after experimenting a lot, this is the best combination-
- Install stock cm11s ( Latest Version, in the screenshot ).
- Unlock the bootloader, root and install TWRP recovery.
- Install the latest franco kernel ( Latest Kitkat version, in the screenshot )
-Now in the settings go to PRIVACY -> PRIVACY GAURD -> Press the button in the top right and select SHOW BULIT-IN APPS -> Long press on GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES -> And now disable the options WAKE UP, KEEP AWAKE , AUTO START ( if available ) .
-Do the same for power hungry apps, for ex- Facebook.
-Switch off settings like Bluetooth and GPS when not in use ( Don't keep them on forever ).
-Try to keep brightness as low as possible ( Till the proper visible level, don't get addicted to brighter screens ).
The following activities had been done to produce the output in the screenshot given-
-From morning 9 to 2:15 till the next morning the whole battery lastet ( Till 4% )
- 4 GOT episodes were seen.
-2 hrs of continuous music.
-Heavy chatting all day.
-Heavy browsing of Facebook and instagram.
-Many you tube videos were seen.
-Wifi was kept on all the time.
-Average brightness was about to 20%.
The only bad thing is that you have to stay on lollipop only- Till now kit kat gives the best battery life. Do now update the phone, ignore/cancel the ota updates!
No bugs or so- Sometimes small bugs might irritate you ( Common in all android phones )
Questions/Suggestions all acceptable.

You have made similar threads/posts before CPU kernel and settings are reverted to original when you flash a stock rom. During summer, my cpu was between 40-50 and now it is cooler. It depends of what you do with your phone. For example, mobile data - GPS can cause heat to phone.
If you think that something is wrong with your phone, you can bring it to a service... although i dont trust anyone unless i see with my eyes what they do.

i am at minium use and the phone hits up flashed stock rom but the problem is always consistent

Why are all CPU cores of my R2P running on full clock speed even when on Idle?

I recently noticed a very severe battery drain on my R2P a few days back. I am running MIUI 7.5.2.0 stock with root and TWRP 3.2.1. When I would go to sleep with about 60% battery I luckily woke up to the alarm and the battery level was 1% in the morning. And the phone was warmer than usual. I checked out some stats and I came to know that the phone's cores were running on 1209 MHz the whole time rather than being on some lower frequency like 200 MHz or deepsleep. Due to this even while I use WhatsApp or even right now on Chrome Browser the phone is hot AF. I tried many things including factory reset from the TWRP, stock recovery and MIUI settings menu, flashed different versions on lollipop MIUI and and a custom ROM but nothing seemed to work. Before it would easily scale down to lower clock frequencies even when not in deep sleep. This high CPU load is making it so hot that right now I cannot use it for anything leave alone playing games I cannot use document viewers and other simple stuff because it's too hot to handle. What should I do now. Is this mere software problem or something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
