Hi, my phone has a problem. After I tried CM13 I restored my backup via TWRP, but when I try to boot the device, it requires a password that I've never used in a black screen. I've tried factory reset many times, but nothing. Can you help me please? Thanks!

You don't need to flash a pit file at all just flash the stock Rom
You might have to unzip it and place the four files in the respective slots BL CSC AP and CP
Go in developer options first and make sure OEM and debugging is checked.

Hey Guys,
i have a problem with flashing custom recovery on my I9505(jfltexx).
When i flash "DBT-I9505XXUBMEA-20130601103235" via Odin and in addition the "CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505" my phone boots up, most of the time but not all the time. Now when i try to flash custom Recovery via Odin, my phone stucks at the Samsung Galaxy Logo and it wont continue. Even if i enter the standard recovery from Goomanager and i select "reboot system now" it stucks on the Logo!
Any Help?
Thanks in Advance

Ok now i get it as per what i see i can still get your device back to normal but myte take multiple try rest assured it will work
1st flash a stock firmware again (not rooted pure stock) this time using pit file along with firmware
and while flashing the firmware using odin and pit do check re-partition also
Note with out pit file do not check the re-partition box
and once the flashing is done device should boot if its not booting
go to stock recovery like how i told u earlier and do factory reset and wipe cache
and reboot
and tell me the status.. all the best

PDA - u should select firmware stock one
PIT - select pit file
Re- partition should be check follow the image and flash
If Re-Partition is checked u must have pit file also do not forget that else u myte brick ur device

Based on what you said, it seem like you still have all the partitions intact. Just that they are empty right now.
Did you do a full backup before all this problem happen? Or did you do a custom backup?
Are your backups stored in external memory and is a full backup? If so, try using custom recovery to restore your backup?

Chill. Your phone is definitely not bricked. I encountered your problem before when i was experimenting with something.
- Right now, boot to whatever recovery that you have. Try to wipe cache, dalvik, and any other partition if possible.
- After that, boot to download mode and try to flash STOCK rom using odin. Check that flash was success.
- Try to boot your phone and report here on what happens.
Edit: You might want to consider restarting your computer and changing usb port. "Faulty" Usb port will affect the flashing part.

Behave your speech smart guy, they are trying to help!
general rule on how to fix a bootloop:
1- Wipe data and cache. If not,
2- Restore a nandroid backup if available. If not,
3- Flash stock firmware, If not,
4- Flash stock firmware with pit file (you can try pit file alone).

Ok I'm having a lot of problem with my new samsung sg4. It came with the MDL firmware. I followed qbking direction on how to root with cf auto root. I have done the root and I installed TWRP for my recovery. I tried flashing sacs and also triforce and I get the sg4 splash screen nothing else. Though when I flash sacs of triforce inside TWRP it come up and says that supersu is not installed and I need to install it to have root but superuser is installed. The only the one to fix it is to use odin and go back to stock.MDL firmware. Any suggestions. Thanks

Sounds like you were bricked at one point, if you were stuck at the S4 boot. Play it safe. Do a full factory reset & use odin. Also, use the new stock image (MF9: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SPH-L720 or http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SPH-L720&pcode=0#firmware). When you do, make sure it's set to PDA. Always clear cache & wipe calvik (Advanced > Wipe Dalvik) before installing a new rom

From what i know a Verizon kernel would not brick. Back on gs2 and gs3 sprint users would flash Verizon kernels.
One thing that would be funky was screen rotation was inverted.

My last rom was custom bliss (6.*) on Note 4 SM-N910C.
I need to revert back to stock. Smart switch will not recognise my device and when I install stock rom or even custom roms through ODIN I am stuck on boot loop. Only if I install bliss again it's working.
Solution need desperately.
Thank you,
Anthony
You have to do a full wipe, with cache and dalvik before flash the stock ROM, flash, and if it still stuck on boot loop, then recovery reboot and wipe cache.
I've already done that with no result!!
If twrp working.....then clean everything....and install ditto rom....thn flash back to original....it might help
Use Odin and in options tab check " Nand Erase All" too. Three of them are now checked. Then flash the stock one.
Maybe your modem is Android 6 and you'r trying to flash modem 5. Try 6.0 stock

Flash stock rom with Odin, and when odin is flashing the system, remove your USB cable. Your phone will boot in a "Emergency firmware recovery". Then, try to use Smart Switch or Kies to recover the software.

Thanks and sorry for wasting your time we'll basically I have tried to format data after flashing twrp but it doesn't work because when I go to it. It shows storage 0mb so it won't work when I format data or wipe.

hope you're using the wanam custom build of xposed for the s7 edge..
and when you're rooting / installing twrp you need to do a wipe so that twrp doesn't show your internal sd as 0mb..
HI
i have a g935f s7 edge
everytime i wipe cache on recovery this error apears
enable to mount data E invalid argument
i need help
trying flash stock rom but stills persists
need flash in odin stock firmware with TPH .PIT FILE? I dont have

Ignore it. I get the same message when wiping cache from stock recovery. It's most likely because data is locked on stock for security. Does your phone work ok anyways? Mine does
