Hey everyone!
Unfortunately through the dexterity and interaction settings, I mapped a tap on my screen to the back button. Now I can't do anything except go into the settings menu through Google Now. I'm stuck on the home screen and require a fix soon.

Hi everyone! Ok first, i'm new and i tried my best searching the forums but can't find what i'm looking for. I'm used to a Palm Treo Pro which has a wifi button and skip track buttons for music on the exterior of the device. I want my Touch Pro 2 to do the same. Isn't there an app that can turn the front buttons into a pause and skip track buttons? Everyday i listen to music it's required i turn the screen on and touch the screen to change tracks. Also, when you press and hold the power button that turns the phone off completely..how can i turn off the phone signal without digging into the start menu and settings. Why not have a button on the home screen that will let you switch on and off the phone and wifi. Thank you for your patience and answers
Search for AE Button Plus.
Got it

Thank you for your reply. I will try that program. Also, I found out there is an option to customize the front buttons. I simply went to Settings -> Menu -> All Settings -> Personal -> Buttons and now I can change (some) of the buttons around the device.
I have flashed the Dorimanx's new ROM and seen the soft key at the left top conner.
Link to Dorimanx's new ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948
How can I accomplish this for other ROMs? An App? or some Setting?
Thanks in advance.
You can try Button Savior, you can find it in the Android Market but you have to be rooted to use it. The app puts a icon on your screen that stays on top of everything. You touch the icon and it opens up more buttons on your screen that will stay for the amount of time you select or permenently if you choose. It gives you a exit button a plus button ( this expands to more buttons being a phone, camera, and search buttons), a menu button, a home button, and a lock screen button. I used it all the time as it really saves wear and tear on your external hardware buttons and it is so easy to use and always available on your screen.
thanks for the quick reply. i ll give it a try
If the "other" rom is based on CM7, you can simply enable a setting in (Settings > CM7 Settings > Tablet Tweeks > Enable Soft Keys & set your own)
Otherwise, follow the post above yours
thats exactly i am looking for
Just installed Lollipop and the Google Now Launcher, but the home screen layouts are all backwards...right down to the navigation buttons at the bottom.
To get to the Google Now page, I have to swipe all the way to the RIGHT.
The Nav buttons on the bottom are reversed compared to my Nexus 9. The Multitask button is on the left, Home button in the middle, and Back button is on the right.
I'm finding this rather annoying and wonder is this the default layout for the Nexus 7?? Is there a setting that I'm missing??
I find this rather bizarre!
You've got a right-to-left language selected (such as Hebrew), which reverses the entire screen. Go into "Settings->Language & Input->Language", and set it back to English(United States). If you already have that selected, try English(Canada).
---update---
Aha, I found it. There's a new setting in Lollipop under "Settings -> Developer Settings". There's a checkbox that says 'always make screen RTL (Right-To-Left), regardless of language'. Uncheck this box, and your screen will return back to normal.
Hi,
I'm hoping that someone can help me with a small annoyance I am having with my 7 Edge. In most/all of the previous stock S phones that I've had, pressing the home button 3 times quickly would enable negative view (invert the color).
Unfortunately the 7 Edge does not appear to have this feature. I've had a google around and have come back with nothing. The only thing I found was going in via the Accessibility/ Vision and enabling it that way. This is kind of annoying.
So is there a way to
a) enable the triple home button press, b) create an icon/shortcut to the vision settings, so that could be set on the edge slide thing. (as in directly into vision section of Accessibility. Not general settings)
The phone is not rooted and i would prefer to keep it that way.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Among the Accessibility settings there should be a Direct Access menu with the option to enable the triple home button push and associate it with the color schema change.

Thank you very much, that works.
I have seen that prior LG phones including the V10 had a menu option to auto hide the three on screen soft keys at the bottom of the display, yet I don't seem to see that option on my V20. Am I simply missing it or does anyone know of an alternate way?
Go to settings > Display > Home Touch Buttons > Hide home touch buttons and then choose which apps you want to do it for
