[Q] No NOKIA HERE for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0

Samsung App Store say Nokia HERE could not be installed on my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 :crying:
I've seen around that that application is available for Galaxy's series with 1GB RAM : My tablet conforms to that spec, so why is it unavailable
What exactly are the restrictions to have HERE installed ?
Edit:
It seems HERE is reserved to Galaxy S smartphones, not to the whole Galaxy series

There is a leaked apk on sammobile.com. You need to download it, transfer to sd card and then install it. I have it on my T210.

I think now it's available for all Android devices, not only Samsung's anymore.
You need to download apk:

hi guys.
i have samaung s7 and i see that samsung only wants peoples freedom, include samsung lie about caracteristics/speficitations: samsung comment on tv, samsung comment on samsung box that samsung s7 has 4 gb. of ram when when you buy samsung you only has 1.5 gb. free, the other 2.5 gb. ram are false and are used by system and etc. but in tv program, samsung lie that samsung s7 has 4 gb. ram when samsung s7 has free 1.5 gb. ram.. the same is for hard disk space 32 gb. disk space when you start samaung it only has less gb. hard disk space than tv programs include samsung box. so i want to know what is the best smartphone that when you buy it can be for 10 years use. i just remember oneplus 5 can have lineage os 14.1 or new. i dont like stock rom of oneplus and i want to install free humankind rom.

Wow.
Samsung isn't lying, they are stating what the RAM size is, not the amount free because...no one does that. On my OnePlus 5, has 6 GB right? Well Total Memory states 5.6 GB...Free is 3.5 GB, are they lying then too? My Lenovo laptop has 16 GB RAM, Free is 9.2 GB, so are they lying? No, because they are stating the amount of total RAM the system has to use, that's how anything from phones to computers are spec'd out. I've NEVER seen a manufacturer state "Our laptop has 9.2 GB of RAM!"...
My 64 GB OnePlus 5 states 52.67 GB available, so it isn't showing 64 GB. That's because the operating system has to fit somewhere on the device, which mostly is the ~12 GB taken already, so that leaves 52.67 GB available for use to me.
There is no right or wrong answer to "What is the best smartphone to buy?"...it comes down to your personal preference. If you don't want to deal with locked bootloaders from Samsung (specifically Snapdragon models), then go with something like OnePlus/Google Pixel/certain LG/Essential/International Samsung S8's(?), who allow the unlocking of a bootloader to flash a custom recovery, and ROM. My suggestion to you is do some research on what make/model phones have heavy development if you want to be able to have multiple options for ROM flashing.
You won't get 10 years use out of a phone, at least not support from a device manufacturer. They'll provide 2 years worth of support on the software side, then anything after that would be custom ROM territory. Even then, custom ROM's are only available if they have someone to support it and maintain it, and even then, over time support will be dropped as new versions of Android come out that a device won't support.

Throw the phone in the trash, who knows how much storage it actually has, maybe its only 2 or 4gb of storage.
Clones have no place in the world...set it on fire
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I have bought clone of s9 on the market last week
Cpuz shows 4gm ram
Snapdragon 845
Mali gpu
64gb storage
I knew something in right as the phone was very slow.
Found this website
forum.hovatek.com
That's where I have learned more about clones
The funny thing is that in the begging I was very angry at this phone as it's performance are very crap comparing to my s7 edge
But the more I learned about clones I have discovered that there are some thing sypu can do on clone you can't on original phone.

Tab A (~10")... which is which

Hi,
At the moment I'm looking for a new tablet for me and my wife. I've made my pick (Tab S5e 128 GB), but my wife wants something lighter, as most she'll do on it is read or play HayDay.
She has her mind set on a Tab A, but there are several at the moment, 10.1, 10.5,...
Requirements for a wifi only tab A:
Lineage or other custom rom support
Snapdragon CPU
For the rest no requirements, but I thing a 64 Gb version is a tad more future proof. The Exynos CPU is a nice one, but hardly supported by custom rom builders. (I tried for the Tab S2, luckily @ripee and @tripLr took over)
Which one is which, is the 2019 version a better option then the older ones,... To many Tab A models. (at least the S series are numbered)

Why would she possibly need 64gb for what you described? The SM-510 with 32gb is way more than enough to do what she wants. I have mine rooted with a custom Lineage 16 ROM and a 17 one is "in the works", just waiting for a few bugs to be solved. Yes, there may be more custom ROMs for Snapdragon SoCs, but that is just because they've been around longer. I also have a 2016 SM-t580 with an Exynos SoC and I have 6 different Android 10 ROMs on it and I don't have them all.
IMO, unless you are watching 4k movies or are an avid "gamer", there should be no reason to need more than 32gb of internal storage when you can always add a 256gb SD card. And, personally, I'd never use a 10" tablet for either of those activities
Added Note: I don't consider people who enjoy a pleasant time with Hay Day to be "avid gamers". That app works quite well on my old 2016, 16gb Tab A.

Hi Lewmur,
Could you offer a quick comment on the recent SM-510 vs the 2016 SM-T 580? Love my 580, does most all of what I need well, but I'm thinking the RAM's too low at 2GB. Just started looking around and thought the 510 might be a better 'daily driver'. And, I think your advice to the OP was spot on.
Cheers! :highfive:

To be honest, I don't use either tablet to do anything that stretches their capability. The battery life on my 510 seems better, but then again, its is new and the 580 is three years old. The Antutu benchmark on the 510 is much better at 113745 as opposed to the 580 at 83259. Bottom line, if I had to pay retail for a 510 to upgrade from a 580, I wouldn't do it. I bought my two 510s for $80 and $50 including shipping. They were both in like new condition but with one catch. They are "Not for Sale" models with only 2gb and 16gb. The "Not for Sale" doesn't mean they are not legit. They both "registered" with Samsung without a problem. They just couldn't be sold "retail" and don't include a warranty.
edit: For an 80 yr old with shaky hands, the 510 does take a much better photo.

Thinking in buy Zeblaze THOR 4 Pro

Hi guys, first of all thanks for let me join probably the best mobile phone site of internet .
I would like to ask for advice. I was thinking in buy Zeblaze THOR 4 Pro because I saw it for 77€ and I think it has decent hardware features and comes with android 7.7 and lot of watch faces (150 I think). I'm not going to use for sports or steps tracking, probably sometimes I will use to answer some phone calls, check time and few more things but I like customization faces and also the possibility to install google play store apps in a smartwatch.
I'm checking also Zeblaze THOR 5 PRO because it has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage and doesn't have a black screen area like the 4 version but it costs 110€
I also found a KOSPET visión for 73€ with 3GB RAM 32GB internal storage for 73,86€, what do you think about the last 2 smartwatches, thor 5 pro and kospet?
I didn't check swappa xdadevelopers forum to search any smartwatch because there are plenty of them and I'm not targeting a specific one so I would like to recommend me one and because most of those smartwatches will have high shipping costs or won't send outside USA like this one: http-swappa.com-listing-view-LUAL87406 (sorry but still I can't post links)
Another doubt I have is about WEAR OS, is it very recommended over android operative system? what are the advantages of it? applications adapted to smartwatch screen?
Thanks in advance for your help and replies.
Regards
Thanks for help.
Finally I bought Kospet primer with 4G (I won't use with sim card so this is useless for me), 3GB RAM , 32GB internal storage, 1260mAh battery, android 7.1 , 1.6" display resolution 400x400 with 354 PPI, ceramic Bezel.
I guess I will be able to download watch faces here:
