Thanks for the reply, but I search a rom stock in zip format rooted to store in my microsd for extreme case.
Flashfire need a os running phone, twrp not
If your worried about a Failure.
All i have done.
Install a FRESH stock ROM = 0 Mods = 0 Changes.
Backup via TWRP (and rename it to Fresh Install)
Then you can make as many changes as you like, You would backup normally via TWRP, so if anything fails you can revert back to that.
But in the Extreme case, you can revert to the Stock Backup
(Of course you will need to Root and install TWRP on the Stock ROM)

PUT THE PHILZ cwm recovery in Android-sdk > Platfoam-tools
Open CMD and nevegate to the platform tools.
Put phone in ap fastboot mode
Connect to PC
Type this in CMD . Fastboot flash recovery (recovery name).IMG
For ex:

You are a lot more experienced then me. But I may suggest to him that he should put the Philz cwm.. Because it contains a lot extra features!
thank you so muach
which kind of version is better for JB for CWM or TWRP ?
can you link me the files?
If you go to droidrzr.com and check the VZW Droid Razr M [XT907-CDMA/LTE] forum under Legacy Devices, and go to the development section. There is a developer there named Nobe1976 who is currently maintaining TWRP for our device. Currently he has us up to 2.8.1.0, which is working without any issues on my phone. Hope that helps.
But works with jb or kk?

Use this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-7/general/honor-7-multi-tool-t3281176 to install stock recovery (I used 320)
To unroot go to SU app and use unroot option in settings, then reboot.

Well I did upgrade from b180 to b320
So i must flash b140 to b180 and finally b180 to b320 correct?
I have deleted update file, but there inside, when you unzip it, you can find .txt file where is exactly path described. From earlier FW version, and from 180. Please see.
I've doing the update, now i'm on b320!
Can i root with multi tool?
Yes you can. Use twrp sminki ang 2.62. On first reboot will fail, just do reboot manually.

I must flash TWRP before root?
So the right way is:
1) With multitool flash TWRP recovery
2) With multitool apply root.
It's correct?
Exactly. In multitool will tell you steps.

Hi all,
I was asked to start my own thread, so here goes.
I have a S7 edge. I rooted it and also removed quite many apps with the de-bloat script posted in another thread.
So now I have the issue that i removed too much. There are two apps that I still want to use (which require NFC and the Heartrate sensor, which are also disabled since the script).
On top of that, Samsung has released an update.
So what do I need to do to get back to a) stock and b) without loosing any data.
I already downloaded the latest firmware for my phone, it includes all the files (AP, Bootloader, CSC, ...).
Thanks.
Just flash the /system (inside AP) partition with flashfire APP and you are ready to go
Well this worked pretty great. Thanks a lot!

Install flashfire app from the appstore

Open flashfire and tap on the + button and select "flash firmware package". At this point find the folder with the Samsung original firmware open it and select the AP file (the biggest one). Wait until is being check and select the system partition and tap the top right corner check mark.
The hit the Flash button and the phone will restart be pacient for about 10-20 minutes and you are done
You will have the original system with root and all the apps and setup you have. :good:

In this thread you can find the latest firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065/page160
You can also flash with Odin. But with Odin you will loose root as this is original firmware. Just download, copy to your phone and follow the steps, if you are rooted flashfire will work fine
Note : in case you flash the hole firmware be carefull with the csc, You have the instructions on the same thread

then if you want root, flash TWRP and root package with TWRP

What I did to get my H850 from 10C to 10D with root:
Download the 10D KDZ from my link 2 comments above
Download and install the LG UP Tool from autoprime's all-in-one thread
Start the LG UP tool as described in the thread, select the KDZ, choose upgrade and start
After it's done boot into Android, the apps will be refreshed
Enter fastboot and flash the recovery with TWRP
Pull the battery after it's done and insert it again
Hold the power button and volume down until you see the LG icon. Quickly let go of the power button and keep holding the power button again.
In the Factory reset screen choose yes twice. Don't worry, it won't wipe your data even if it says so.
In TWRP install the SuperSU via the zip
Reboot into system
If you followed all the steps you still have all your data and a rooted 10D.

I updated succesfully with LGup before your comment here, but messed up with twrp recovery install by letting system boot in between and cleared all my data while trying to enter twrp.. [emoji15] shame on me!
Flashed again twrp and did it properly.
And of course i had old twrp backup but didnt succeed restoring.. Everything kept fc'ing..
Then i flashed with LGup again + twrp and supersu.
All good for now i had an LG backup and got it working and apps and part of data restored! [emoji2]

Hi all,
i am searching for a way on how to update Android via OTA or manually by flashing without loosing my APPs, configurations aso so i don't land to device setup screen after boot.
Chris
The best way is to use FlashFire
After downloading the OTA you can update using FlashFire by selecting the OTA file I did it with nougat
You can also make a sideload using adb command

Hi,
I found this post.
"You only need to flash the system.img file within the Google image using fastboot.
After that, boot into TWRP and reflash SuperSU, XPosed, and anything else you've flashed that resides in /system.
Wipe caches and reboot. Easy, and no app or data loss."
does that really work?
Go to the official site and download the ota manually
