Wow !! OTA for Kangvip rom ! That's great news . Maybe it's the update to B561. What improvements/bug fixes did you notice? Can you upload the 118 mb update file on mega and post the link here?
Edit: I just realized B560 isn't a Kangvip rom after all. It's the latest stock MM rom for L09 EU version. I have a L09 from middle east. I'll jump to B522 over the weekend to check if I get the update.
I received yesterday an OTA update to B560 for my MT7 TL10 . I was on B522 before. So far works very well, no difference.
Is the OTA update country related or rom related? Or is it something else? I am asking because I can see no update in France and maybe I can make the process easier with a VPN.
If you had an issue with notifications on B522 (apps are protected but notifications are often late and sometimes you have to reopen the app do get them), do you know if it is solved with B560?
Thanks!
I can find any stock firmware on huawei if anyone provide hicould link to me, we can get hicould link when your device notices ota by use packet capture.
My certificate (the last tab from "about phone") says "Serbia" and I'm from Romania. All the best !

It's official for both TL-09 and TL-10. If you're on B331 or B522 you will get the OTA if you're in Europe. Note that it may take sometime depending on the country you're in. Spanish and Romania users were the first to receive it.
Even if you don't get the OTA you can always flash the full update.app long as you're on either of the firmwares I listed earlier

I just updated to B522 and received the OTA B560 update. I have the European MT7-L09 with Serbia certificate.
I've never received any OTA updates before, being that I'm located in the U.S., so I'm pretty surprised.
I'm updating right now
I have the European MT7-L09 too, and just now update shows on my Updater. Size is 118MB.
TL-10 users that have received B560 where is our update file?

Set mine back to standard last night and went from B331 to B522 and it did the same as yours Stan.
JAZZ MT7C900B522
No OTA update yet for B560
I'll leave it standard until it's updated, maybe I'll just leave it standard anyway. It's now to be used as a tool for my new small business rather than as a phone.
I just received the update for my L09 EU B522.
To anyone who's interested, I had a havily customised setup, with root, xposed and "build.prop" mods. yet I still received the OTA
What I did, was avoided touching the /system partition.
I had systemless root and the new systemless xposed, every "build.prop" mod was done on the /data/cust/prop/local.prop instead.
I did not uninstall any stock system app, but I disabled it.
Instead of adaway (that modifies /system) I had xposed unbeloved hosts, for the same.
very happy with this setup and the effortless OTA

My Oppo is set up the same way. Systemless Xposed is supposedly not possible with Lollipop. Once I get B560 I'll probably want to re-root mine and do the systemless mods. I get OTA updates on my Oppo with OmniROM and it's easy to apply them and have a modded phone.
I remove some system apps from the Oppo. It doesn't matter and replaces them when I flash a nightly update. I don't update it every night of course. That would be so overkill. I'll probably do it maximum once a week, but if it's running good, really, why do it all the time?
BTW, MinMinGaurd is ok with systemless Xposed. My oppo has an update, auto flashes systemless SuperSU then I re-flash Xposed manually and when it reboots, all my modules are working. The OmniROM is based on AOSP, so I get much more use out of Xposed than with the Mate 7 and stock EMUI. Such a nice way to run
If Omni was available and stable for Mate 7, I'd be on it.

Lol, yes, I need it too
Recievied mine today. Around 400 mb less system usage.
Icones looks better now. More correct background color in the icons.
I will let you know if I see any big battery improvement
I installed Smart Launcher Pro and cannot get it to work. Something in B522 is locking the phone down too much and I haven't found what yet. Might uninstall the launcher and re-install just in case.
This thread is supposedly for TL-10 users to share the B560 update. Yet only TL-09 users happen to be active here. Am out!

Is it DE only or european one?
I mean, if this is the wifi only version shouldn't be the european multilanguage one?
Or sony makes IT, DE, UK and so?
Thank you for your help.
Well... I don't really know... Sorry .

Each country has an individual firmware. Most noticeable change is on setup the language is default to that country.
There may also be some variations within the remote control app.

Actually since I can choose my language "Italian" from the rom it works out of the box, I can easily root it, but I can't update then to 370, it downloads the update, start to apply then after a few seconds reboot and gave errore message (generico:impossible to update).
If I'll do that with kyes I'm pretty sure it will destory the root.
I'm not a "root maniac", but I would like to restore apps+apps data from my S4 to Xperia Tablet Z as done with the new nexus, and I need root for that.
AdAway would be nice to use too...
Well, I'll try to find if it's a root problem or DE rom on IT tablet problem, but I'm pretty sure that the tablet is downloading the right update, so maybe it's the root stuff that cause troubles
I know you want people to search for the answer before asking here in the forum. And I have searched for an answer but I haven´t found a straight and clear answer to my question.
I have a SGS4, completely stock.
I want to root it only to disable Samsung´s bloatware on the phone.
Mostly because of those damn update notifications even though I have disabled the apps in the built in Apps Manager.
I was thinking of rooting my phone with towelroot and then freeze those apps with Titanium Backup to get rid of them.
Then I´m gonna run Triangle Away to reset an eventual trigger of Knox and get rid of the triangle warning.
(Will the freezing procedure even trigger Knox?? )
I do NOT intend to flash any custom ROM.
Do I still have to make a NANDROID Backup?
And as I´m having their 2nd newest big phone and looking forward to the next official Android update, my most imortant question is:
Will I be able to update OTA or in KIES if I´ve rooted and used Triangle Away?
Is the only thing I have to do, to unfreeze the apps I´ve frozen in Titanium Backup, run Triangle Away and then unroot in Superuser?
SGS_Daniel said:

I've tried it.
Successfully rooted my Galaxy S4 with towelroot.
Installed superSU v 2.02 by Chain fire from his website as Play Store doesn't have the most recent version. Checked root with Root Checker Basic. Got root!
Installed Titanium Backup and bought Pro version.
Have tried freezing Samsung ChatOn so far.
Checked phone status and Knox is NOT triggered! Which was my biggest concern.
Have not flashed any ROMs or anything else, and do not intend to either.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens when next Android update gets out!

Go to settings, your device and check for the updates. The answer will be: Yes, there is an update, no there isn't an update yet or Your phone isn't official, you wont receive any updates. The last one is it xD
Nope.
In phone settings, in status, it says Phone Status: Official
And when checking for updates it connects to the server and checks. Then says the aren't any updates. But that's because there aren't any updates available. Was already running the latest update (4.4.2) for my phone before rooting.

Hopefully freezing apps with titanium won't change my phone status.
But I've already frozen the one that nagged me. Samsung ChatOn and everything's fine after that procedure.

This morning my Mate 8 3/32 NXT-L29 international version unrooted received an OTA update of about 500 MB.
It took about 10-15 minutes for installation (download time excluded)
Now the ROM version is NXT-L29C432B152
Changelog (translated from Italian):
Added Google Now on Tap
Latest Google security patches
Increased stability
Battery drain optimization
WeChat power drain problem solved
It's yet too early for any evaluation about a notification problem solution and other real improvements, I'll see today.
Cool!

I didn't pay a lot of attention to that message (mine Mate was stock and not rooted), but for what I remember it was written (in italian):
be sure your phone is NOT rooted.
I can't post link, but delete the space between "noel" and "shack"
See this screenshoot
noel shack.com/2016-05-1454496441-screenshot-2016-02-03-11-45-52.jpg
It's in French.
It is written :
"Assurez vous que votre téléphone ait été rooté avant de faire la mise à jour"
>"Make sure your phone has been rooted before doing the update"
It looks like a mistake in the Huawei's chinese-to-french translation... not uncommon indeed...
Anyway, be confident, the OTA update worked perfectly on mine stock unrooted NXT-L29.
Ok, I found it weird
I realized the update, is ok !
Thank you ! :good:
What if rooted
Question.. What happens if I apply a OTA update on a rooted phone? Will I still be able to re-root it, right?
Any experience here?
Thanks a lot for your feedbacks. Cheers!

Hello everyone
Today LG released new version in Turkey,
This time the version is V20h
No custom boot animation
Security patch is for 2016-10-01
Android version: 6.0
No bloatware
In order to download you need to copy the URL, open new tab, paste URL and hit ENTER.
You can safley flash this KDZ on any H815/L/T/P/TR/AR device
Here is the download link:
http://tool.lime.gdms.lge.com/dn/do...FWFDH4N852QQA6K8F772XJA/H815TR20h_00_1027.kdz
Enjoy
It came with OTA NOW!. I am downloading. I will write battery life and performance after I used it two days later
I tested for three hours, As I noticed;
- Volte is activated officially. If you select lte from mobile section and activate volte, it shows "Volte" text near battery icon. I hope using Volte won't affect battery life. I hope...
- Performance is good. I think battery is better, it will be getting better as time passes by.
This is only differences for now. Official changelog says that latest new anroid security patches added and stability improved. Yes it includes 01/10 security patches. But I can't be sure about stability from now. It will take a week moderate usage and 2-3 recharge cycles.
I tried to flash it on my H815 but LGUP makes error 0x2000 and it stops at 9%. I downloaded two times to avoid any problems due to corrupted file.

LG really screwed up the version numbering. I have v20i from France, theoretically it should be the latest one for Europe. Anything new for EU phones? I am not flashing this version.
H815 SEA supported as well ?

You know nothing about firmwares. This is for Turkey. Maybe you can flash this firmware on your phone but I am using H815TR version, so I have to flash this version due to customizations and our country's Network conditions. Go and flash v20i version if you use H815
I know enough about firmwares. LG should have kept the same version on all regions or at least LG should have called them v20H-Turkey or something. There was an issue at some point when some Rom developers took a Turkey Rom as base, then a newer EU Rom was released, but with a lower version (v20H was for Turkey, v20G was the EU one). I am not the only one complaining about the LG versioning system. Let us know how it behaves, we should get an EU Rom pretty soon.
Some info about october security patching for H815 maybe download link. My last is v20i France september security patching.

Don't stuck in Versioning. Coz LG releases different versions for countries. For H815 Europe version smartphone, you can flash latest version WITHOUT TR,SEA, etc. suffixed firmwares. Before flash firmware, Look for its latest security patch. If its security patch is up to date, you can flash freely. I really regret to buy Country based H815TR model. I can't unlock bootloader, I can't do anything about root.

And we dont know how to install it properly. Evetytime I try to install this verson, it shows the error at 9 %.
I think it shows error because ROM is locked only for H815TR devices.
I have a TWN device and it shows error on my device too. (LGUP)
Even though I had flashed previous TR ROM, it could not get update via OTA. Do not lose time by doing this.
It may cause because of VoLTE agreements between LG Turkey and TurkTelekom, Turkcell or Vodafone. Carriers want VoLTE to be used in only TR devices, I don't understand why.
If someone find a way to flash it (or get the update via OTA on a non-TR device somehow) please let me know. Thanks
