My pc can't find my huawei p8 lite even when I installed all drivers. My phone also doesn't show the mtp option for showing files or just charging. Does anyone know a solution, i'm on android 5.0.1 build 190

How to ROOT?
I plug in with Development ticked. It's not able to load up ADB driver.
FYI, my PC have been working with many Android phone & it's built in with mobile phone Froyo, Gingerbread ADB driver.
Just don't have anything for this Huawei Mediatab.

They actually come bundled with Huawei's Hi Suite.
So i have all of the correct drivers installed, latest version of rsd lite, correct cable, even tried running the fastboot from android sdk. Still rsd lite wont recognize the phone. My computer recognizes it, so i dont know what to do... Please help!
[EDIT] I got the computer to recognize it, but it doesn't say xt907, it only says "fastboot" under model.
Should I just try to start rsd?

Hi guys! I have a problem with my Huawei P9 Lite (VNS-L31) It won't connect to my laptop anymore.. It charges but the laptop won't show that there's a device connected even in fastboot mode and I don't get a notification on my phone saying that it's connected to PC anymore it just charges ugh I don't know what caused this.. I didn't do anything I just unlocked the bootloader and rooted it with TWRP.. It worked yesterday but now it just doesn't.. I've tried everything.. Restarted the laptop and the phone.. Uninstalled HiSuite and reinstalled it.. Enabled USB debugging and "Allow HiSuite to use HDB".. Tried different cables.. And tried to connect my other phone with the same cables and they worked.. And I've also used this code (*#*#2846579#*#*) to change the USB port settings to HiSuite mode.. Idk.. And I tried to factory reset it.. Cleared cache.. Dalvik cache.. EVERYTHING! And now I'm trying to install the stock firmware maybe it'll work but I keep getting an error .. (Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package.) Even though it's the right one and the latest B130 Anyway I hope someone will help me and you're not going to read all of this but thanks!

I had the same problem and solved it like that: Connect to your Laptop, enable mtp. Now wait a little bit and go to HDB settings. Turn it off and revoke all HDB authorizations. Turn it back on and wait till the HDB notification appears. You should be connected now. Try the same thing with USB debugging. Also, check your Huawei drivers, in device manager. If it all fails, install Huawei Firmware Finder and try to find Firmware for your phone. You might need a rollback package.
Hi I have RR custom rom on p9 lite & windows can't install/recognize MTP drivers for the phone. I tried with HiSuite but custom rom doesnt have HDB. I tried with USB debugging still same problem.....how to solve this??

It's been 6 months or so since i bought this Huawei p10 lite.
And now quick charge is not working. I have to mention that the phone was exposed to water for about 5 seconds(it did not enter the charging port). The accumulator is working (tested with other phones, by the way is the original one), the cable is working (tested with other phones, worked before, not original) but when i connect the phone it wont quick charge.
Also, when i plug in the device in the computer, Windows wont recongnize it. I tried activating usb debugging but it still doesnt work. I have to metion that i've updated the phone to Android 8.0 (EMUI 8), and it worked before.
Anyways i hope you can help me.
[ps: im noob and sorry for my english]
