Anything for the Honeycomb based Huawei 7 inches Tab ?
How to ROOT?
I plug in with Development ticked. It's not able to load up ADB driver.
FYI, my PC have been working with many Android phone & it's built in with mobile phone Froyo, Gingerbread ADB driver.
Just don't have anything for this Huawei Mediatab.
You can download MediaPad ADB drivers from here: http://www.teamandroid.com/2011/11/13/huawei-mediapad-usb-adb-drivers/
They actually come bundled with Huawei's Hi Suite.

I know this is alittle late, but this doesnt work for me.
It says Windows could not find driver software for your device, all though i've downloaded the right drivers and followed the toturial.
My guess is the drivers are outdated or MIUI isnt compatable with this drivers.
Thanks

the drivers are working on me, on a device based on msm7630 soc with msm8255 1.4ghz cpu which has the HSUSB activated, the method is the same as on huawei, press the volume - + and power in the same time for 5 seconds, and it enters in the hsusb state.
What is hsusb?
Sorry for the noobish
it`s a downloading/uploading mode, from which you can re-write all the information of the phone.
Hello all, in an attempt to fastboot back to android 4.1.1 I ran into an issue.
1. as soon as I connect the USB cable, fastboot on my nexus freezes. I cant toggle betweenrecorvery, restart bootloader, etc.
2. Everything in fastboot in windows works fine, it just sits at waiting for device forever.
3. When trying to install the drivers through the nexus 7 toolkit, I run into an error "The resource loader cache doesnt have loaded MUI entry"
I'm not sure what to do, my nexus wont even let me into recovery mode. she sits on a bootloop.
I hope someone has a solution
I'm (unfortunately) running windows 8 and trying to install the drivers for windows 7 )I assume they're the same.
HELP!!! thanks,
Connor
Connor,
Yes, the Google USB driver is the same for Windows 7 and Windows 8. In fact, I just used ADB sideload with both my Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus, from Windows 8 RTM, earlier today. Here are some directions that might help you force install the Google USB driver:
http://trevorsullivan.net/2012/07/03/forcibly-installing-the-android-usb-driver-in-windows-7/
Also, have you tried connecting your Nexus 7 to another computer, to see if it exhibits the same behavior?
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Trevor

Much appreciated
Hi All,
I decided to adb backup my phone, since CM12 update is expected tomorrow (26Mar2015). When I connected my phone to my computer it shows up as Yun OS ACB. I thought Cyanogenmod uses regular Android and ADB and not a Chinese rip off. Any Ideas as to what could be behind this?
This is the procedure I followed
1. Disabled the driver signature on Win 8.1
2. Installed Universal ADB & Fastboot drivers
3. Enabled developer options, ADB and advanced reboot options
4. Connected to PC
Hey
My pc can't find my huawei p8 lite even when I installed all drivers. My phone also doesn't show the mtp option for showing files or just charging. Does anyone know a solution, i'm on android 5.0.1 build 190
Thank in regards
My Huawei P8 lite doesn't want to accept commandlines because it can't be found. When putting in the line, adb devices, it doesn't list.
But Hisuite founds the phone and list the memory info, pictures etc.
I am trying to root the phone after succesfully unlocking the bootloader. The usb-debugging is on, adbdriver6 is installed and minimal adb fastboot. Have I missed something necessary?
Hisuite didnt recognize it at first. So reinstalled it and it started working. All drivers are installed, device manager shows Android adapter ADB interface and Huawei HDB Interface under Android Phone.
Thankful for any help!
