Hey guys,
I recently started using the Snapdragon Camera app on my LG G2 because of the cool features and really fast shutter speed. However, I installed it on my DT2 but it just kept crashing and would not start up. Does anyone know the cause and a potential fix?
Snapdragon camera was designed for the SD 800, 801 and 802... Sadly not for the 810
I use the Google Camera instead of the Motorola Camera, more features and less laggy

That's a shame However, I have been using it very successfully on my LG G Pad which has a SD 600 and works just fine though I rarely (if ever) take photos on my tablet.

Jesus this phone. Dual core 1.5ghz, 1gb of ram, adreno 220 gpu, 4gb of ROM storage, 1930mAh, 8mp camera, 4in 480x854 display, and runs on MIUI all for only 310USD. Only minor problem with the phone is its resolution. But damn, is that cheap for a top of the line phone. Too bad this phone will never see the light of day in the US.

for a benchmark of the adreno 220 gpu. It destroys the competition in all but 1 test.
Hahahahaha holy ****, 13 megapixel camera??? Good lord
how is this related to the atrix? this should be Android general, not here...
sorry don't mean to be an ass...
Edit: but i must admit, it does look like an amazing phone. and looking at it's GSM frequencies it should be compatible with AT&T here in the US...
thats exactly what i was thinking..and for that price..ill take it lol. Def wont need to worry about bumping into someone that has my same phone...ever..lol
2 problems with this phone and tests.
1. The camera. When you cram that many MP's into such a small CCD chip your image quality is complete and utter garbage because the image noise is insane. Id rather have a Moto razor camera in it.
2. Why is the LG olympus x2 in only 2 tests? They test it vs a bunch of phones with 600mhz cpu phones....what's the point? Then in the last 2 tests it loses to the olympus x2 and barely beats it in the second....not really impressive for a cpu running at 50% faster clock.

You get what you pay for.
That's my 2 cents.

8mp isn't a lot for a phone.
lg olympus is only MISSING from 2 tests. It's present in all but the 3d mark mobile tests.

You're totally right about the benches, I looked again and I'm not sure how I missed it thanks!
The 2nd article says: 13 MP Rear Facing with Autofocus and LED Flash. Is the 2nd article wrong? I hope it is.

The 2nd article is a different phone (a Qualcomm prototype), but with the same specs as the Xiaomi in the 1st article, so the benchmarks should be relevant.
I when I put the vercion 4.1?

Particularly for me as a user who doesn't play games, SD 615 is good enough.
Fingerprint sensor is for the time being just for securing your phone.
I don't feel absence of gyro sensor.
Stereo speakers yeah feel it's absence but even the single one of mxp is loud enough. ?
Moreover the stock android is for what I bought mxp.

You know Lenovo owns Motorola
Sure I know. But they better go the other direction - make Lenovo like Motorola. Not the opposite.

Lenovo is way bigger overseas, Motorola is small potatoes compared to Samsung or Apple

I used to buy and use a Lenovo phone, so have to say that it's good enough to ignore complaints from people who haven't tried it before.
About Vibe X3 vs X Play
- If you take much time on taking pictures with good captures I'd recommend X Play
- If you you spend most of your time playing games, I'd recommend both (scaled scores: 8.5 for Vibe & 8 for X Play)
- If you plan to grab version updates, I'd recommend X Play (Lenevo is quite lazy to keep their devices on tree of updates)
- It's plain to see that Vibe X3 going along with better performance with snap 808 in comparison with snap 615 from X Play; 3BG of Ram much more than 2GB of X Play.
Finally, if you don't much care on the logo appeared in your phone, just grab what you like.
:fingers-crossed:
vibe p1 may be better,5000mah battery
How come Z5 compact even faster from S7?

Dunno what this test measures, but Adreno 430 in Snapdragon 810 is one of the fastest smartphone GPUs even in 2016. Combine that with low resolution screen (4x less pixels than Galaxy S7) and you get those results.
Because 720p

you are right!
also in GFXbench result are even X2 FPS!
even sometimes faster from X performance (Andreno 530!)
there's some advantage in 720P i guess..
Thanks to the ****ty screen resolution you get excellent scores.

Hello! Xiaomi Mi5s Plus was launched recently and here are the features: 5.7-inch FHD Screen, Snapdragon 821 CPU, 6GB RAM, and Triple cameras with two rear cameras (source: http://www.chinaphonereview.com/xiaomi-mi5s-plus).
The dual rear cameras is a unique characteristic in which it features a 13MP colored camera and a 13MP black & white camera. I'm not sure how this would translate. But I'm certain the 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 821 processor would definitely provide an excellent performance.
Any thoughts on this smartphone?
If a decent developer community forms and this gets the ability to work on Verizon then I'm sold. But I have to hold out hopes that the Mi5 progress keeps advancing and can easily translate to this device.

Be careful, the mi5s plus cameras are old sony imx258 and not the new imx378 on the mi5s. Also the mi5s plus lacks of ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Yah, they gimped the plus so much.. if you like larger phones, neither are good buys. If the plus had 2 x imx378 and ultrasonic, best phone in the world easily, by hardware.
The pixel phones use the imx378, I believe, and the pixel is rated best camera phone by DxO (take with grain of salt as they're apparently biased), but it still shows the prowess of the imx378.
Would the dual rear cameras make any difference in terms of picture quality? How can the additional black & white camera help?
Just got this phone today.
It is amazing fast, super high performance.
With default setup, it can have 4G RAM free
However, it only have chinese stock rom at this moment.

Well, sadly enough that the imx378's sensor is large and I assumed that is why the dual camera setup with that sensor is not achievable.
Same goes to OIS, most probably due to sensor size issues. (Pixel phones have no OIS thou)

From what I've read, but I'm not an expert, the B&W camera should be capable of capturing more light.
So combining images from both cameras it should capture better pictures on low light conditions.

So I guess it will result to much clearer pictures and lesser noise compared to the single color camera. That's nice. :good:

I have it and for me there's 2 things that I don't like. MIUI 8 , I'm a stock Android guy I hope somebody bring cm or something like this to this mobile and the other thing it's the camera, it's a camera for me from the beginning of 2015, that perform well in optimal light conditions and in low light even with the stereo option it's not very well.
Conclusion, I'm not a photo guy so there's no problem but I can't support miui even that it runs fast in this mobile. So until we have some development to this mobile I'm going to stay whit my axon 7.
