Gallery app like sony album - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I've just moved to a Samsung Galaxy S4 with CM13, and one of the things I miss the most is the Sony Album app. It's awesome, because I like to see all the media mixed, I don't want to tidy everything up in folders.
Yeah, I know I can download the Sony app, but I want to know if there's something like that amazing app.
Thank you.
PS: Sorry if I'm in a wrong forum.

Am I missing something?
I'm still trying to figure out if this is really such a difficult question or if nobody cares. I've combed through dozens of pages of Google search results using a variety of search phrases in an effort to learn how to manually add images to the system wallpaper gallery. I've performed some fairly ambitious modifications to my device and so I thought this one would be simple but after hours of searching my head hurts and I'm starting to wonder how badly I really want to do this. I've tried apps like Flikie but these apps create their own folders to store images which ultimately leads to media being strung out all over the place. Maybe it's the OCD in me but I simply can't function this way. I would even be satisfied with an explanation of why such a thing is unnecessary.
Crickets...
So it's official. Nobody cares but the crickets, and if I could understand what they were saying I'd probably be hearing "Nobody cares! Nobody cares! Nobody cares!" all through the night.
Is your phone rooted? If so try useing root explorer to find out were those files are located. I have never had a issue wit h just chooseing one from the gallery my self. or i personally love useing zedge it give me ringtones and wallpapers a plenty and i can view them from the gallery or in my case quick pic. But i do understand OCD and wanting organization to your media so i hope the search goes well lol

Lightbox General

Hello everyone.
I've seen a lot of threads here of users posting AMAZING photos taken from our X10. Are you guys on Lightbox? If not then I'd really want you guys to join so we can follow each other.
Here's mine http://unrealrik.lightbox.com/
Post yours if you have one and if you don't, make one

Edit : Market Link https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lightbox.android.photos
lightbox isn't all that great of an app as far as anything goes but it is a pretty simple way to upload/store pictures.
here's my link:
h_tt_p://_greenguitar92.lightbox.com(just delete the underlined spaces im still a new user so i can't post links)
It has a lot of potential, you can say the same about instagram but almost everyone who's on iphone uses it, don't they.
sorry im not familiar with iphone apps the x10 is my first and only smartphone.
all im saying is that there are other choices out there, picasa isn't a bad choice it has a fair amount of editing abilities and you can store your pictures and your contacts all in the same place.
Come on guys, use your goddamn 8 megapixels.

[Q] HTC Mail App (port)

Hi Guys and Girls,
I'll apologise now if this is in the wrong place or if it's already been mentioned but I couldn't find any real info so I thought I'd create a thread..
I've recently bought a Nexus 7 having only ever owned HTC phones and I'm pretty disappointed in the default mail app that comes with the Nexus.
I've seen some forums of people trying to port the HTC Mail.apk with no success as I believe the Sense framework has to be on the device for this to work but I'm just wondering if anyone out there is creating an HTC based Mail app to work on all devices?
I'm hoping that it's pssible but unfortunately I have no developer skills whatsoever so I can;t do anything about it.
I'm sure if an app like this was to be created there would be quite a lot of interest as the others I've tried, K-9, Touchdown, etc just don't come close enough.
Please can someone let me know if this is already in producctn of if it can be created.. I'm sure the good people of XDA can whip up some sort of fund if there is enough backing.
Thanks for your time.
Terryd1980.
Hi, any solution for this? I'm also looking for a HTC like mail app. My biggest problem right now is the calendar preview of invites. The stock app shows the meeting request without the date and time and the preview button takes you to the calendar with wrong date. Total joke.

Ported Apps

I was wondering if anyone knew of any apps that have been ported to the S5 from other devices eg HTC, Motorola, LG. The reason I ask is because I hate Samsung touchwiz, the nasty green gets on my nerves so any ported apps, maybe even ROMs might help with this problem. Thanks
There are lots of ported launchers and apps. Not to mention themed S5 apps which have different colour schemes. All you have to do is search the forum and you'll find them all over the place. Not sure why you didn't try that before posting?
Enjoy
,
Well I did have a look on the fourm but couldn't really find much, maybe my search string wasn't right or something, I will try another search and see what I find
What did you try searching for? e.g. keywords or however you did the search?
