[Q] How extract the PIT file on Note 3 32GB ?

Hi @all
To extract a PIT file from a device like the Note 2 N7100 16GB we can use this on terminal emulator:
su -c 'dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/out.pit bs=8 count=481 skip=2176'
and we have the out.pit on Sdcard.
Is good if we use the PIT Magic from @lyriquidperfection DEV. Thanks.
We can extract the pit file to see inside whit this tool.
To Note 3 N9005 32GB:
That command is not compatible. It make also a out.pit but the PIT Magic give us an error and not extract it.
The parameters bs, count and skip must be different to a Device from 32 GB. (The partition is same).
Someone know something about?
The Leaked Rom XXUBMH1 have one Pit file 32 GB, see HERE. The PIT Magic extracted it well, attached #1.
To compare, the Pit extracted from the N7100 16 GB on attached #2.
You can see here more info about this to S4 Mini:

Thank You
Hi @all
I wait a response about this.
Thank You
I have it now whit this THREAD.

[Q] Howto update 41 item pcs of Acer A500 to ICS

Hi all,
I'm newbie in updating android firmware. We have about 41 acer A500, with 3.1 (gingerbread), and want to update all of them to 4 (ICS) official.
I know it just download iconia tab ehnhance from PlayStore + click update.
I just feel update manual of 41 devices is kinda pain with just only 2MB int;l connection.
My POF is save the file in the /cache directory , save to pc, and copy to another tab.
btw i've root all of tab, and familiar with linux command.
1. install terminal > #cp /cache/* /sdcard
arrg whereis the cp command here?
2. install ES File Explorer, copy /cache/* copy to /sdcard
just got a blank folder
3. install cacheDownload2SD
Hoping the cache will appear in /sdcard when the tab download update, nothing happen
I've try coupleof method, not good sor far could someone give enlightment?
Thanks before
Well 41 tabs, u got a mission on yr hands lol....best way is a stock update.zip copy to ext.sd and flash. Not sure if the Acer enhancement app needs to be installed, that may be only for an over the air update...
Getting hold of a full version update.zip might be the hardest part, a lot of the links are dead now. As I remember the stock ics Rom was pretty scrappy almost everyone ran a custom Rom. So I guess it depends on what or how u are using your 41 tabs ???

need debrick image

Hello everyone. If someone could help me that would be great. I have a Galaxy S4 GTI9505. If anyone can supply me with a 4.2.2 debrick image, it would really be appreciated. I do have a 4.4.2 128 MB image but it is not working. I also have a lot of debrick images if someone can help me. It is a Quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU; Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset so it shouldn’t need a test point to force into download mode. I’m assuming the aboot is different on the lollipop rom and that is why I can’t get it to download mode. Can someone please take time out to help me?
To get the image you have to have a rooted Galaxy S4 on 4.2.2, and have to install busybox, and a simple syntax program like terminal emulator which you would have to install. You also would have to install root explorer. These are all android apps with the extension .apk. Once those 3 programs are installed you would have to press terminal emulator and enter this code:
Su (press enter) to get super use access, then on the next command type just like this
busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/debrick.img bs=1M count=128
The image which will be put on the “sdcard” of the phone. Not the external sdcard but the internal sd card.
Then use root explorer to navigate to the root of the sdcard and copy it to let’s say your download folder.
Then plug in the phone and copy it onto your computer to copy on your desktop. Once you have the image then if you can send it to [email protected] it would be appreciated.
Please someone do not ignore this and help me. You would be actually helping a lot of people that need this image. Thank you.

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
We redirected your thread to a right section.
Good luck!
128 MB? As far as I know gmail has a file attachment size limit.
do you have the samsung galaxy s4 GTI9505 debrick image if so you can send me the file in the xda develpers
No. I'm on a 5.1.1 custom rom.
A bigger issue is this: who is still running 4.2.2 on an I9505 Galaxy S4 two years after its introduction? Finding a debrick image for such an old version of Android is going to be very difficult.
can you make me a 5.1.1 debrick image may be it would work

Can I ask what you are using that debrick image for? And how you are using it?
You have to find someone that still runs a stock 4.2.2. Chances of finding someone like that and with having the required skills to extract the image are really slim. People that are still on 4.2.2. are not the most technical.
I wish I could help you, but we can't downgrade anymore due to the bootloader.
just give me one debrick image for samsung galaxy s4 i know how to downgrade the bootloader i have a program and restore it back to 4.2.2
You're so desperate that you're not reading what people are writing. No one here is likely to have an Android 4.2.2 debrick image because none of us are running Android 4.2.2. We cannot downgrade to that version of Android any more to get you one.
Repeatedly asking us if we have an image is not productive. We don't have one, cannot get one, and the people most likely to be able to make you one are not here.

offline browser ie., downloading files from internet in batch for android.

Hi I am Rupesh from India. I have examined a website which it contains mp3 file's upto 50000 which are organized into various categories and among those I want to download 12000 files and luckily all the files I want to download are contained in a particular folder and this folder has address starting with the domain name of the site. The files I want to download ie., 12000 files are of size upto 130 gb. I have internet connection which has bandwidth 25 mbps and the download speed is upto 2 mbps.
I am having android phone with quad core cpu, 1 gb ram and 32 gb external memory card. I am also having portable external hard disk which has free space upto 500 gb and so I can save the downloaded files.
In Windows os there are number of softwares under the category offline browsers like httrack, backstreet browser etc., and among those if we want to download jpeg pictures there's a software called neo downloader, Aaron web vacuum, extreme picture founder etc., . I have used extreme picture founder to download mp3 files by selecting some options like file types set to *.mp3, scanning depth etc.,. I have downloaded upto 93 gb. I am searching for similar program under android and found some apps of which httrack is mostly usable and remaining apps are running for maximum upto 5 minutes and displaying message as successfully downloaded but nothing has been downloaded.
I have searched Google playstore for word mp3 downloader and found some apps but these apps are not usable to me I mean they contain some pre defined websites and are downloading mp3 files from those sites only.
I have used httrack under android and it is performing unnecessary scanning of websites but not downloading any files at all. Httrack is also very complex to understand how to use.
Can anyone of you suggest best app for downloading specifically mp3 files from a particular website.
Regards,
Rupesh.

Try wget. It's part of busybox/toolbox, so you must run it in terminal. To enter the correct parameters see the mampage for it (you will find it without problems because wget is part of most GNU/Linux distributions). Perhaps even the helpscreen may be sufficient for you:
Code:
[email protected]:/ $ wget
BusyBox v1.27.1-meefik (2017-08-11 21:12:02 BST) multi-call binary.
Usage: wget [-c|--continue] [--spider] [-q|--quiet] [-O|--output-document FILE]
[--header 'header: value'] [-Y|--proxy on/off] [-P DIR]
[-S|--server-response] [-U|--user-agent AGENT] [-T SEC] URL...
Retrieve files via HTTP or FTP
--spider Only check URL existence: $? is 0 if exists
-c Continue retrieval of aborted transfer
-q Quiet
-P DIR Save to DIR (default .)
-S Show server response
-T SEC Network read timeout is SEC seconds
-O FILE Save to FILE ('-' for stdout)
-U STR Use STR for User-Agent header
-Y on/off Use proxy
1|[email protected]:/ $
Good luck!
