So when I wifi tether off my phone (iPhone 4s, I know... Blasphemy) the chrome browser and AOSP browser work great, very responsive and quick connection. The issue is that I am unable to connect to google play store or Gapps while tethering. It's strange that the Internet browser is working but these other apps will not recognize the connection. Anyone have an explanation for this or a method to rectify?
Since KRT16S, my Nexus 4 sometimes refuses to download anything from the Play Store. It will download maybe 2 things, then stop until I disconnect and reconnect to my router. Ever since today, it doesn't even load the My Installed Apps section of the Play Store.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a fix?
EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention, this only happens on my wireless router. Cellular works perfectly and immediately. Please help!
I'm having some serious issues connecting to Google Play Store over Wifi, while it does works absolutely fine when browsed over data network. I've Factory reset my phone but that also didn't helped either.
I didn't have any problems with my internet router as I can browse without any problems using my phone.
ps: I'm using Galaxy S5 G900F international without root.
I am unable to access the google play store while on wifi on my Nexus 6p (stock rom, not rooted). All other internet enabled apps including browsers, Netflix etc seem to be working fine. The strange thing is that the google play store functions properly while on data.
I tried resetting the phone and also have flashed the stock factory image from google with no luck. I have also played with my wireless router settings and was unsuccessful. Has anyone come across this issue on the Nexus 6p? Is there any log file I can look into to see whats going on?
i've noticed an issue similar to this.
sometimes i'll be on the playstore trying to download an app and it wont work. i can browse and look at all the apps, but the download will not work. toggling wifi on/off or just waiting resolves it though.
strange
Hi everyone,
I've got a Samsung M30s a month ago, and I never had issues until now.
Google Play Store and Youtube started working very very slowly maybe a week ago, and now they literally do not load anything whenever I am connected to the Wifi.
Both the apps work fine on mobile data, and Youtube works fine when I open it on the Google Chrome app.
I've tried every troubleshooting I found:
-Clearing cache and data from both apps and Google Play Services;
-Resetting the phone;
-Changing the WiFi DNS to Google's parameters (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4);
-Logging in and out of my Google account numerous time, and relogging directly from the Play Store,
-Turning off all data savers option;
-Turning off all battery saving options;
-Disabling IPv4 or IPv6 on the WiFi.
About my wifi: I am using a router that does not belong to me, but it is an hotspot of my home provider (Vodafone) that i can use for free since I am their client on another WiFi at my parents house.
I tried connecting both to the wifi with my log in details directly or using my computer hotspot as a middle point.
I cannot currently go to my parents house to see if the issue persist using a personal wifi connection (as we are on a strict lockdown here in Italy).
The phone is not rooted nor it has the bootloader unblocked, I like modding and have experience with a lot of Samsung devices but I like the Samsung One interface and I don't want to void the warranty so soon.
My current software version is PPR1180610011M307FNXXU2ASL2.
The phone model is SM-M307FN (European version with the Exynos chip).
I am writing here because everything I tried literally hasn't worked and I really don't know what else to do.
Has anybody else experienced this issue?
Try on wifi from another Internet provider
I do not think it is a matter of phone itself
But: how does Youtube work on a laptop connected to same wifi ?

That's my question too. For what's worth i tried connecting to a phone hotspot (so internet passing through mobile data) and things still don't work.
Youtube works fine on all laptops i know connected to the wifi.
Also worth nothing: when I change DNS to 8.8.4.4. And 8.8.8.8, the situation goes back to normal for a few minutes and then it slows down again.
Question: does the same issue persist even while using a VPN?

Yes to a certain degree. I tried a couple of a vpn with different location (namely USA and other parts of Europe), and the apps did work faster but the issue appeared after a scrolling down the page for a couple of times. I contacted Samsung Support and they told me it is a known issue for a good number of people and that Google is working on it (here's the link to the support Google forum:https://support.google.com/googleplay/thread/40380785?hl=en ).
I guess there'ss nothing to do but to wait.
