[Q] [Help] GT-I9505 stuck in odin mode after failed downgrade

Hi all.
I was trying to downgrade my GT-I9505 to 4.2.2 jellybean using Odin. This is the complete list of messages on Odin:

Now my phone is stuck in Odin mode with the message: "Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue. Please... recovery mode in Kies."
I'm using the September version of 4.2.2 firmware for Singapore downloaded from Sammobile (I cannot attach links as I'm new here)
Tried different USB ports, 2 different cables.. Just haven't tried on a different machine. Not sure if it's an issue with the firmware or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You can't downgrade from 4.3 or 4.4.2 to android 4.2.2. Million of threads opened before yours. Pls use the search button

When you say "before", does it mean the stock firmware my phone came with? My phone came with 4.2 i believe, and I upgraded subsequently to 4.4.2.. Does it make any difference?
In any case, if I download 4.4.2 from sammobile and flash with odin again, it should probably be ok?

Open KIES plug your phone in and choose "Emergency Recovery" option. It helped me in the past with similar issue.

1. You void ur warranty trying to downgrade (KNOX: 0x1 in bootloader).
2. Your phone came with android 4.2.2.
3. Your phone will be ok if you update your phone to 4.4.2.

Ah thanks! got my s4 back working again.
Anyway.. my bootloader actually shows the following:
KNOX KERNAL 0X0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID 0X0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB 0X30
Seems like my warranty is still intact aye..?

Need a TWRP Recovery MD5/WIN.000

Hello, everyone!
I recently have run into some trouble with my (ATT) Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337). I flashed a custom rom and (idiotically) didn't make a backup. Long story short, things didn't quite work out with the new rom. I didn't like it, and I wanted to go back to the old stock firmware. So I decided I would try to do it. I tried flashing with odin, using recovery, etc. Nothing worked so far. I've been researching for about 12 hours now. I think I know what I need. I need a TWRP backup, so that I can move it to the sd, and trick twrp into thinking I backed up my system so I can restore it. Below, I will link a post to what I want. The reason I can't use the below is because it's for a different carrier. If someone would be kind enough to link me something, that would be great. Again, my phone is a ATT Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337). Please help me out!

Before I help you I want to be absolutely sure.
Are you sure you have an i9505? Because you keep saying ATT. That's a completely different phone. That's the SGH-I337. You can't flash stuff for the i9505 on the SGH-I337.
So what model do you have? Do you have an i9505 or the SGH-I337. My guess would be that you have the SGH-I337.
ps I have no idea what the thread is what you posted. Don't use that thread because its outdated.

Since I did in fact flash the wrong ROM, could I just reflash a new ROM that's compatible with my phone?

Yes. You can flash a stock rom for your device.

Alright, but for some reason I get an error in Odin. It says "SECURE CHECK FAIL". Do you have any idea what might cause this?

Its probably because you are flashing an old firmware on your new bootloader. What version where you previously on? 4.4.2? Then you can't flash a 4.2.2 rom.

Hi mate ,
check if
Odin troubleshooting: If Odin accidentally gives you "fail" try the following:
- Repeat procedure.
- Make sure that all actions of Kies are disabled from task manager.
- Change usb port.
- Try another usb cable (make sure it is the original).
- Try another Odin version.
- Uninstall and re-install driver

Help With flashing recovery & root for SM-T337V android 4.4.4

Sm-t337v Tab 4 android 4.4.4
I have been trying to root this tablet for a week. I have tried but Odin, Stock Recovery adb and Stock Recovery external zip. Every time I get E verification errors when extracting threw stock recovery. In Odin every time I get nand errors when it extracts the tar. I am pretty good at getting devices rooted manually. Could someone please help with getting a custom recovery installed. I have read a lot forms but a lot of them have stopped.

Try TWRP from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/twrp-2-8-2-0-unofficial-t330-t2980716 . You can to try TWRP for SM-T335 .

Tried flashing t335 zip in stock recovery but same E verification rroors occurred. I will get back with you when I am able to run Odin. I'm not near a computer right now.

You should carefully read the topic. You can not install anything from stock recovery.

I tried flashing the recovery threw Odin but it did not work. Any ideas?

ODIN says that the file is not right for you. More T337T can try, but I do not know what will be the result.

T337T did not work. The Odin log files were the same.

It been a few days but I have made progress. I still need some help though. I have unpacked the boot.img and modified the ro.secure in the default build prop. I am running in to a problem when repacking the build prop. There seems to be a issue with the magic code in Odin. I was wondering is there a up to date unpacking and repacking process so Odin can read the files.

I finally got the unpacking and packing of the boot.img where it puts in the magic Code in. I have modified the default.prop for ro.secure. Now when I flash in odin I get secure check fail. I am new to odin so if there you have any ideas on how to run it in different, please let me know. How does the pit process work. I guess I'm back to reading.

Odin writes that the boot ( kernel ) is wrong .

It failed because it is a modified boot image. In order for it to flash a non secure file we have to find out how to get past the bootloader. I will take another look at Twrp 2.8.4.0 T535LTE recovery because it seems to pass all the permissions. It just doesn't load.

Any luck on that? I just got a t337v and it's kicking my butt trying to get twrp installed via Odin. I can't make anything happen with heimdall..

Help flashing stock firmware

I am a noob at this, so pardon me for my ignorance. After unrooting my Note 3 i am unable to update my firmware OTA or with Kies, even after factory resetting it did not work. After doing some research i learned that i have to flash my phone with stock firmware using odin(in order to get my phone back to normal). Do i have to flash the original firmware that my phone came with, or can i just flash it with the most up to date stock firmware that i want?

You can flash the same build fw or the latest. Install 'samsung phone info' app to check your csc. You can even use the app to download the fw. But in case downloading takes forever to complete, you may use 'samsung firmware downloader'. It's a windows utility tool to download fw from sammobile.

When i attempted to use Odin, the flashing failed. here is the Odin log:

My phone still works fine, and i have everything set up properly so that my phone can be flashed. so, im not sure whats going wrong.

It's N900?. Try different fw.
In download mode does it show reactivation lockn?
