Hi all
I've been using the LG G2 for more than 2 years w/o dealing with group messaging until lately.
A friend of mine who just recently switched from iPhone to Android, has asked me about it and why she can't use it (well, message was sent to all recipients but as individual, not as a group).
I'd been telling her that Android has so much features that it has everything iPhone has and more.
Now, my turn to try and indeed, I CANNOT use it. I've tried with my parents phone, Motorola G, same thing, can't do it.
I've searched around and there was a lot of reports, complaining about this issue but it was 2013. Now about 2016, it is still a problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA
I'm using CloudyG2 3.3 ROM, my parent's MotoG untouch, my friend's Alcatel Idol 3, all using stock Message app.
By the way, we're all on AT&T
Some other info,
At first, I thought it is the limitation of Android OS but many other friends, especially a cousin who using the Sammy Galaxy Edge+ have no problem with group message at all.
I'm wondering whether it is device-dependent or something.

Hello,
I joined XDA back in 08" upon buying a tmo dash, and since them this community has been one of my addictions on the web. You guys have helped me acquire my gadget lust... I recently purchased my HD2, April 22, and I've had a couple of popular phones prior to this. I've owned a 1st gen iphone, G1, nokia e71, and my last phone was a mt3g. I love Android and I might be a little biased but I'm honestly trying to love my HD2. And I do love some things about it. Huge screen of course, I love the fact I can play every video on my computer without conversion on my phone right out the box. I love that I can upload files on the internet like I'm on a desktop. But I just feel the phone isn't living up to its full potential... I will state my own personal gripes and any suggestions will gladly be welcomed. My first gripe is my text message problem in the htc messaging... The threaded text conversations are always wrong in terms of time sent/received. I searched for solutions and only found other people with the same problem and no solutions. The 1st day of use I thought the battery life was abyssal, but after two weeks it's decent for such a powerful device. I've experienced recent freezing but I just download cleanRam, so I'll see if that alleviates that for me. I would prefer not to use a custom rom, which is weird to me b/c I used customs roms, on my dash, g1, and mt3g. I've read about a mms problem... Everybody usually gets my MMS except att subscribers, but that's not that big of a deal. I do like the Sense overlay on top of the winmo OS, so I don't won't to turn that off. The phone seems sluggish at times to have such a fast processor. I don't have much running in the background... No FB, No Twitter, only my gmail account through active sync. Is there a way to set my own location for the weather? All and all this phone has tons of potential, and I hope Tmo US is gracious enough to give us an update, but if not I will be in the kitchen requesting a cooked rom

I came from the same hardware. Cant remember last time I ran a stock Rom on a phone. Quit fighting it, I went with Kumar's from and a new Radio. 8GB CL6 card and added a few apps. Thats the only way Winmo is capable. No need to put it off, it's inevitable. Good Luck. EVO is in my future.
Hi all,
I don't participate too much lately in the forums since I'm busy with work, but now that I have an Android problem hindering my work I've come to you for help.
I've been Googling, searching Xda and reading various blogs on the topic, but a lot of them are specifically about T-mobile or another carrier etc. so I haven't been able to apply their fixes. Wouldn't make sense to change my apn to t-mobile if I'm not using them, after all.
So I am wondering if anyone has any idea on how to enable wireless tethering to work with my Nexus 4 again. It used to work (well, I did warranty it a month or two ago), and I suspect it might be due to being on KitKat based on my research online. I'm just not sure how to change it, because it seems like it is possible.
Fido, Android 4.4.2, ParanoidAndroid 4.0, Kernel is one from ponury (For touch control), build pa_mako-userdebug 4.4.2 KOT49H. If you need more info, let me know.
Thanks in advance for any help or comments.
Hi,
I'm a longtime iOS user that just bought a galaxy s5 to see if it was good for me, I however have been disappointed because of all the annoying software that comes preloaded that slows the phone down, I tried out a nexus 5 and loved it however I had received the international version which wouldn't work with Sprint, so I thought I'd try the S5 and I like it except I wish it was more like the nexus 5(non-laggy, etc...) so now I'm curious...is there anything out there that will turn the sgs5 basically into stock Android like nexus 5? How do I install them? I couldn't find any reliables build on cyanogenmod nor could I figure out how to backup in case I wanted to revert back to standard android that came with it...I don't know if I put enough research into finding what I'm looking for but I googled and read stuff that I didn't quite understand most of the day. Any help would be very appreciated.
Sorry to ask such a dumb question to those who are going to troll.
Search XDA for s5 debloat or similar, it will give you a list of what can be removed, and I think there are some debloat tools as well.
Try this on for size should be right up your alley http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2857451

Hi Guys,
Is there a stable ROM for S5 on Tmobile?
I've been using custom ROMS for the past few months and I'm having real problems with a lot of glitches. I've tried at least 5 different roms that I found on this section and I'm running into issues like text messages not being delivered and getting them a day late. I understand that these ROMS are underdevelopment but still, my user experience for my S5 has really gone down hill to a point where I almost want to get an Iphone 6 just to have everything work. This is my own problem and I want to fix it.
Is there any alternative or should I just install the stock Samsung Software back?
Hi there! Im a new user posting in the xda community but in the past I always came here to find fixes for my phones. This time I found some solutions but they did not solve my problem and I saw many people with the same problem here on xda and in other places. So, I decided to experiment and do "MY OWN FIX". After 3 days with my phone constantly crashing, turning off by itself, stuck in Galaxy Note 4 Powered By Android screen, and so on. I found that the problem could be the latest android update that Samsung threw in May (N910PVPS4DQE1). My phone is a Sprint version so the model is SM-N910P. I decided to install with Odin the previous STOCK ROM (N910PVPS4DQC1) from April. I did it, I flashed the previous ROM but to my surprise this did not solve my problem.
This has been the best phone that I've ever had. I do not want to lose it. I do not think it is a hardware problem because sometimes it will get past the Galaxy Note 4 Powered By Android screen and even get to home screen and use my phone "working perfectly" just for a few minutes.
ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED PLEASE!!!
