Hi Guys,
Is there a stable ROM for S5 on Tmobile?
I've been using custom ROMS for the past few months and I'm having real problems with a lot of glitches. I've tried at least 5 different roms that I found on this section and I'm running into issues like text messages not being delivered and getting them a day late. I understand that these ROMS are underdevelopment but still, my user experience for my S5 has really gone down hill to a point where I almost want to get an Iphone 6 just to have everything work. This is my own problem and I want to fix it.
Is there any alternative or should I just install the stock Samsung Software back?

Hi All,
Sorry if this is a really stupid question.
I bought a Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition like 2-3 weeks ago and have been using it ever since. I switched from iPhone to Android and bought the GPE based on many recommendations that the stock OS is better.
But for some reason, I want to experience the features that come on the TouchWiz as well. After a lot of googling and looking around on the forums, I can't seem to find the solution.
Is there anyway to install the TouchWiz interface on my s4 and get all the features that come with the s4 (like Air Gestures, Smart Pause etc) ?
Youll never know until you try. We can flash ge editions to touchwiz but dont know about vice versa..

I tried flashing my Google S4 to stock samsung firmware.
For me I was never able to root the phone using the method for i9505 model. My phone almost got bricked and luckily one of my friends who is a CS major and develops apps for android was able to unbrick it for me.
I don't think a method exists yet, someone needs to work on this...
isnt ur phone like 19500? try using a TW rom from there/
hi guys,
my samsung galaxy s2 has been giving me a lot of problems lately (signal issues and cracked screen). I couldn't afford the latest handset, so after reading up lots of reviews about google nexus 4, I bought it from ebay.
The phone is most definitely fast (Android 4.3), but many odd features to give you easy access are missing...I assume this is because it's a stock rom?
I want the theme/menus of the phone to look similar a samsung galaxy s2/s3/s4. Is there a way of doing this without flashing a totally new rom to it?
Thank you for your help
To get a full samsung experience such as in setting/laucher/etc to work you need to have samsung framework..which is a lot of work. You can try and search around the forum but I don't think anyone here bought the phone for samsung experience. The best you can do is apply touchwiz theme but that requires you to flash custom roms. For tw launcher you can try this here. Just search around and you'll definitely find something you can use.
Thank you for your quick reply arffrhn.
I don't want to flash a custom rom...at least not for a while. I think I might have described it wrong mate as I don't want touchwiz.
Let me start again....The samsung s2 that I have is running on a custom rom called neatrom....Have you heard of it? I really like it's style as it's very simple and looks cool with colours and dialpad.
But instead of putting on a custom rom, Is there a theme that I can use so that I can change the dialpad style/colour and menu looks etc?
You can try xposed framework and try out some themes. That's the best way to customize your phone without flashing any roms imo.
Try Paranoid Android or carbon custom rom; it comes with lots of tweaks and custom features.

Try a custom ROM and take your conclusions.
I've had a galaxy s2 and my Nexus 4 is better in so many ways
I have a few questions that I can't seem to find on Google that may seem silly, however I like to know as much as possible before I jump in. I haven't kept up to date with the android scene so there is a lot going on that I don't know about and at time, just plain stumps me.
Questions:
1. I am currently running Android version 5.0.1 on my S4. Will I be able to flash to a custom ROM running an older version or will I have to find one running Lollipop?
2. What is currently deemed the best ROM for my phone, as in which one will extend battery life and boost performance?
3. Will that ROM interfere with Spark?
you can flash to older roms. just curious. me and my girl both got 720ts a year ago at the exact same time. while ago on a drunken rampage i smashed her phone. went to sprint and replaced it. they gave her a newer version. 720t v3 i believe. it has a much worse screen which is less responsive and it was a b i t c h to get a recovery on it....what revision do you have? (located under battery) XDA rules state you cant have best rom discussions as it is all opinion and leads to heated arguments and flame wars.. as far as spark goes. some roms work, some dont. but ofcourse you need spark in your area/city (so if u live in one of 4 cities out of millions lucky you). even if a rom dont mention it it still make work. signal checker app can tell you.. the boot animation for spark loading or not loading means nothing...check your radios
Hi.
Is it worth to flash s8 rom on s7e?
Is there a rom with working shealth and NFC (android Pay)?
I don't have warranty so this is not a problem, I just wonder is s8 roms are much better then stock s7e.
P.S. Is note 8 rom is available already?
Thanks for answers.
I think that is better to wait for this

i have flashed the full s8 v7 and it has working android pay with root (which is fine). i am afraid of bt i had problems this morning with headphones it was constantly turning on/off but later today it was fine so dont know if there is issue with bt5.0 vs old one...but should as it uses the kernel for s7e...hmm dont know now really as i have used s7e rom (original one) brefly...looks ok but need to see for longer time....
anyone one can tell main differences between s7e roms vs s8 rom? (feature wise)
Hello. I have been looking for custom roms for my Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus (X704F) for quite a while now and have found nothing so far. Not a single rom or even a mention of one being in development. I really hate the current rom to the point where i have considered selling or giving the tablet away. Am i out of luck or is there still hope for a custom rom?
As an Enthusiest I don't see why we cant get roms as its definitely possible as the device uses stock android we at least have magisk and twrp so its great but it could be better as I'd love to see Oreo or at least Nougat roms I'm almost tempted to learn Android Development just to give the device some love apart from the fact I haven't ever tried or know where to get started.
I hope too in a developer to build a Lineage Rom or something like that. But the Tab (for what i saw) probably is getting an update to Android Oreo...let's see what will happen in the coming months
Sadly, There won't be an update.
I only recently came to the realization that Lenovo had let this tablet go to crap by adding bloatware and failing to update to Oreo or beyond. My son is constantly complaining to me about needing more storage on the tablet. He has an SD card, but only certain things will work on it.
I am looking for any potential solutions to extend the useful life of this tablet that seems very limited by its OS and bloatware, despite having capable hardware.
Is the best that I can hope for to root the tablet and remove a couple of system apps? Is there any hope on the custom ROM front, or is this tablet just not popular enough? I was really shocked to see that there are precisely zero custom ROMs for it. Please tell me that I am missing something.
What has anyone else done to salvage this thing?
I have both Tab 8 3 plus and Tab 4 10 plus (both lte). The Tab 8 already has 3 great custom roms (especially Crdoid!) Both tablets have quite similar hardware (same CPU...). I was wondering whether one or these roms could be modified and ported to the Tab 4...
