I've unlock, and root, then, which kernel can remove the boot warning?

If you're referring to the 'can't be checked for corruption warning' then no kernel as it's apparently in the bootloader.

You can not install a boot loader. It's not possible because the boot loader is already on the phone. You mean custom recovery. Here's the link.

Not only he's wrong, I'm talking about a tablet. I think I've figured it out.
I can't figure it out, when I enter the command in the CMD, it tells me "waiting for device."
Finally got it to work.
the version is still 1.7.2. if you have nrt 1.7.2 installed, just connect to net and start nrt, which will update automatically. the rooting process is exactly the same as for jss15q. customized recovery is just optional. you can keep the original recovery with rooted jss15r. but unlocking bootloader is a must

I noticed. Thanks!
I unlocked and rooted once before upgrading to JSS15R
It turned out that after upgrading to JSS15R, I don't have root access
Do I need to unlock again before rooting?
Will all my data be gone after rooting?
Thanks!

once unlock, always unlocked, unless you lock again. This root would not affect to your app data at all

I used wug but when using your latest version of SU 1.65 I could never get root. I finally booted into TWRP and flashed SU 1.5x and it worked! Don't know why the newer version wouldn't work. Then, after booting it updated itself to the newer version of SU. Go figure.

For the life of me I thought you could only install stock modified Roms until the boot loader was unlocked then you could install custom roms. But I see people installing custom Roms and the bootloader is still locked or am I missing something. Confused

Loki is what is used to help you root and basically let you bypass the boot loader so you can install the custom ROMS. It is probably a bit more technical than that but that is what it does in simple terms. You use this until the bootloader is actually unlocked.
I'm sure someone can chime in and give you a more technical answer. Research it.

Are you on TMo? Be patient. It will probably come. It is still early in the game.
Does the new root method mean new unlocked bootloader methods? or is the bootloader itself the problem and not root?
Thank you for your patience and answering me.

Root only. Boot lock is another, much, much tougher, animal.

Like Avi said, two totally different things. There was an update in May and it also blocked root and the unlock method. They were able to gain root again, but the BL is much more involved.

You can install SafeStrap and install another stock ROM on slot 1. Then, you can use Xposed to add all kinds of customization and you can flash a mod that allows init.d to allow you install init.d tweaks. Doing all of this on your safe slot will keep you from messing up your stock slot. If you get everything set up in slot 1 and it runs well, there is a way to restore it on your stock side, but I won't go into that now.

I followed your instructions for installing safestrap but my phone isn't allowing me to create a ROM slot. On any of the slots its just greyed out.

Maybe you don't have enough space on your internal memory. When you go to create a rom slot, check how much space is required and how much is available

Is this possible?
Yes. Root doesn't need a factory reset, you just need to flash the binary using a computer or a root application.
Sent from my LG-H345 using XDA Free mobile app
Depends though. Is your bootloader unlocked? if not, THAT step requires the factory reset.
Some bootloader don't require factory reset though.

Nexus 6P bootloader unlock wipes the phone.
There is no root without the bootloader being unlocked.
There will never be root on this device without the bootloader being unlocked because nobody will ever even look.
Why bother?

Nope, this is wrong. You must unlock the bootloader in order to root this phone, there's no way around that, and unlocking the bootloader wipes the device. This is the normal way of rooting Android, none of that King root crap here.

If you don't have this phone then you shouldn't be giving advice in this Q&A section, the advice you're giving is incorrect. Those hack apps only exist for devices that can't be unlocked and rooted the proper way.
