I have one problem, everytime after restart is done i have this massage:Unfortunately,Google Play services has stopped-All is working but how to terminate thet massage?
I've been getting this message a lot. I get it multiple times when using my system.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I get one when I start up, and occasionally while using my shield, but it says my remote control has stopped. But it works just fine. Also, on startup it goes straight to the location page asking if I want to turn my location on/off.
I have been having this problem, every time I start I get the error. It goes away when I remove my logitech unifying receiver from the usb port.

Thanks will give that a try.
I get the GPlay services message too when I start my machine. It was 100% stock, too.
So I'm not alone and yes I do use the Logitech unify dongle really hope the user experience can be better. I also noticed I have to use my keyboard k400 at a close proximity like within 60cm or the key or mouse won't move accordingly which is very frustrated, not an ssue with fire TV first gen and it is not due to battery.
Das mit dem Google Play-Dienst ist schnell gelöst
Geht in den Einstellungen->Apps->System-Apps->Google Play-Dienst
Dort erst mal auf "Beenden erzwingen"
Danach Cache und Daten löschen und einen Neustart machen
Dann sollte das Problem erledigt sein
The Google with the play service is solved quickly
Go into the Settings-> Apps-> System Apps-> Google Play Service
There pointing to "Force stop"
Then delete the Cache and Data, and make a restart
Then the problem should be settled
There is another issue I find really annoying, the app actions don't refresh properly at all,I find myself having to clear an app's cache just to refresh the Force Stop option into view.
This issue includes not showing the amount of cache before clearing it,so when I hit 100MB+ in Opera Browser from looking at a video,it won't show that until I clear another app's cache and go back to look at it.
Problem solved with dickerpatti's solution above. I've turned off system completely and no more errors hoooooorayyyy

Using extension USB cable to connect my Logitech unify dongle to my Shield TV solved the low range problem for me. Now I can go up to 6-7 m away from Shield TV and my K400 Plus is still working great.
Did this also with my ir-dongle of my ipazzport keyboard and now I can sit on the couch (4m away) and use the keyboard without any problems. Just a short usb cable extension to bring the dongle in front of the shield could solve this problem.
I have the same problem.
Nvidia Shield tv google play services
When I try to open the sling tv app on nvidia shield tv I get (Update Google Play Services) When I click on the update nothing happens. I have contacted both Google and Nvidia and they do not have a fix. Should I return the shield or is there a fix. Any suggestions are much appreciated. TIA
I also had this problem with a tv app after a factory reset and solved it by installing the latest version of play services from apk mirror :

Dear XDA members,
I would like to post my problem, perhaps there are more members with this
problem.
I cannot contact my desktop or laptops with the bluetooth from my Note.
I had the same problem with my Galaxy SII.
Seems that Samsung is bringing products on the market without proper
drivers?
I asked them with this device how to solve this problem, they replied with the
advice of a hard reset, which didnot work.
Other devices work without a flaw with bluetooth.
Does anyone has a opinion or solution for this problem?
Would be great.

I have no problems with win 7
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I can confrim this problem.
Windows 7 x64
Galaxy note with not-so-updated firmware, but doesn't really change things.
Laptop and phone see each other and pair well.
Phone can only see laptop as media audio device. Laptop can only see phone as media device.
Transferring file in either direction doesn't work, whatever method I use (start from BT devices, and choose send file, or open the bluetooth file transfer app from start menu, or even use myphoneexplorer in BT connection to send files).
While MPE returns an obex error, the other two methos start as if they were going to do the transfer, but the transfer never starts.
I tried sending files to my laptop, but I only ended up having a queue of sends that won't process, and cannot be cleared, staying after a reboot.
So unless there is some weird problem with my current firmware/kernel, somehow the note can't move files with windows 7.
I have found pretty much evidence elsewhere that people are having the same problem even with the S2.
Now that I bought a laptop with BT, it's silly that I need to plug a cable to move files...
I don't know what's wrong for you guys but I've got Windows 7 x64. Everything work perfectly on my Note, I mean I can send files in both ways. I haven't installed any additional program on my laptop to do so.
I'm on stock LA4 not rooted.
So here's the deal.
I had frozen several things regarding bluetooth from titanium backup, trying to defrost them didn't work for a problem in the app, so I gad to do the batch power defrost to reactivate them, and turns out that was the culprit
Bluetooth device driver installation unsuccessful
Hello Friends, I am facing a problem.
I was pairing my device with my laptop and everything followed smoothly until the last step.
The pop-up in the taskbar displayed -
"Device driver software was not successfully installed"
On my laptop,
Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers > Bluetooth Devices
the name of my device appears but there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark besides it.
The Troubleshoot option seems futile as well. The message that appears after Troubleshooting has completed is, "Troubleshooting was unable to automatically fix all of the issues found" and the Problems Found displays, "Bluetooth Peripheral Device doesn't have a driver - Not fixed - a red circle with an X mark".
What could be the issue(s)? Please help me rectify it/them. I have Samsung Kies 2.0 installed on my laptop.
Just tried it for the first time on windows 7 x64 using my note on German LPY (worked on GB too) and it searched windows update and installed these drivers:
Bluetooth A2DP Source
Bluetooth AV Remote Control Target
Bluetooth OPP
Bluetooth Phone Boook Access
Bluetooth Handsfree Audio Gateway
Bluetooth Message Access Profile Server
Then it worked perfectly in sending files and listening to audio. Did these install on yours?

Obviously you need to install the driver for that Peripheral device.
I don't quite understand why it didn't install automatically. Maybe your computer company support page might have bluetooth drivers?

I have a HP Pavilion g6-1014sa laptop but I cannot the name of the bluetooth adapter.
The HP website has two different sets of bluetooth drivers for said model. One is Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver and the other is Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth Software and Driver.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...en&cc=uk&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5081125#N320
The aforementioned drivers are listed under the category Driver - Network.
Although I have installed Piriform Speccy 1.6 on my laptop, I am unable to pinpoint the name of the bluetooth adapter.
I am pathetically stupid.

You might be lucky and get a hint by looking in the Device Manager. There should be a item with a red cross to show it's not working. It's name/properties may tell you the correct manufacturer.
I don't think it would hurt to install the incorrrect driver as it simply won't find the hardware device to use. If you want to be careful, you can create a drive snapshot in System Restore and restore it back if it doesn't work.
Hope it helps

1) cut your old plastic card in small pieces. you need this smal pieces to adjust the position of the magnetic adapter.
In my case my xperia z1 has an tpu case, so i need to glue more plastic pieces together to fit the right position of my adapter.
2) put the distance piece and your magnatic adapter together and put it into the hole of the car mount. (as you see on the picture)
3) Put your xperia z1 into the carmount and try to adjust the right position of your magnatic adapter and fix all this with your hot melt gun.
4) If you put another distance piece on the other side, your magnatic adapter wont slip out anymore.
Sorry for my bad english.

1) Plastikarte in kleine teile zerschneiden.

Why you do this?
Under settings in the display menu it is now possible to mirror any device that supports Miracast to your fire tv. It works amazingly, i was able to mirror movies and games from my nexus 5 to my Firetv without hardly any lag. Its a lot better than Chromecast.
I ran into one problem. I could not get my surface pro 3 to connect to the FireTV. It sees the fire Tv and installs a driver when trying to connect but then never connects.
Can anyone get there Microsoft Surface to mirror to their FireTV, or any other Windows laptop?
List devices that you get to connect to the fire TV and which ones wont connect.
My Galaxy Note 3, SIII and Nexus 7 (2013) all connected great. I've been looking for this feature since I got the FTV, never found an app that mirrored the screen fully, its awesome!
On a downside note I had to roll back firmware until netflix gets fixed.

Yes it works without root. Go to the settings page, click on display, then on screen mirror.
On your nexus 5 go to settings, then display, cast screen, then click the 3 dots to open aditional options at the top of the screen, click enable wireless display. Now the FireTV should show up in the list.
Seems to bee buggy for me. I only was able to connect my N7 once.
Just tested this feature when I updated to the pre-rooted 51.4.0 firmware. Working great on my One+ One phone. Watching something off plex app right now with no lag at all.
I can't mirror my screen from my rooted Xperia Z1 to my unrooted fireTV. Anybody else having trouble?

I would say that in almost every way its a lot worse than chromecast.
Its laggy, its low quality in both video and audio, it requires that you remain on the app you want to stream.
It also requires that you put the FTV in receiver mode which is a pain too.
In contrast chromecast offers HD/SuperHD video with DD+ sound with 100% perfect sync (because it is not syncing at all its direct) and has no requirement for the phone to be on the same app .. or even on at all after the video has been started.
If you want laggy horrible screen mirroring then chromecast supports that as well, in exactly the same manner and quality as miracast.
...
Its nice to see some things being added to the FTV but this is not one that I will be ever using again now that I tested it once.

hanks guys, found the option in FTV and my Nexus shows it as a wireless display. If I try to connect to the FTW if asks meif I would allow the connection. Selection yes or accept (can't remember now ^^) will not bring my mirror my phones screen. The phone seems trying to connect to the FTV and cancels the connection. Then my FTV disappears from the screenmirroring list in my Nexus 5 and reappears after some seconds. But it seems to be impossible to establish a connection. Runng Nexus 5 with 4.4.4 stock Android (rooted) FTV unrooted. Restarted both devices, still no luck with screen casting.
I called the Amazon service and the first solution which they told me was to reset the fireTV. That solved this issue. Yet I can mirror my screen from my rooted Xperia Z1 and I can tell you that Miracast is only good for pictures. If you want to play high definition audio and video, use Allcast. It's much better! What I'm only missing is a mirror function in the Allcast APP.

I tried this, reset the fire TV. But still no luck with my N5 and N7. only one time i connected my N7 successfull. Maybe its a firmware fault and they can fix it.
Just a reminder... Both the FireTV & Device need to be on the same network for best results... Although not required.

I don't think so. I turned of my WiFi so the aftv and Nexus5 were both without WiFi. I could see the firetv for sharing display and the firetv shows that a device would connect. But not successful. Miracast opens his own WiFi I think. I got an netgear PTV 3000 miracast reciver and all my devices can connect fine, without being on the same WiFi.

Same here. My phone and Fire TV are in the same network (everything else would be silly) and restored my FTV to default settings. Still no luck with Miracast and my Nexus 5
It's so strange, today I have the same issue before the reset of my fireTV yesterday...
I think it's a software related problem. Both devices use the same network with 5 GHz WiFi. I will test later another situations like turning WiFi off on my Z1.

Hi, I've noticed some issues watching videos on youtube. Some of them are ok, some of them after 10-20-40 minutes (really random) starts to lag, not responding to NP remote and after 30seconds youtube app crash and I can submit report.
I tried to clear cache, data etc but still same on random videos (I think it is HD videos)
When youtube crash and I want to submit report, sometimes also google services crashed all
Any idea what that can be and how to fix it? My network is ok, watching movies with KODI from my NAS or netflix is without problem
Update:
Ok it looks my NP has more issues than this. Yesterday my youtube stopped working, I tried to clear cache etc and nothing helped, it still showed no connection (play store the same) but when I removed and added my google account, everything started (but there was no network issue, netflix worked fine)
Same issue today again...and from nothing my sixaxis wont connect...ps3 controller just blinking but cannot pair even it worked day ago and nothing new was installed...I tried to pair it again but not working...so I just stop sixaxis and google settings service crash
It looks to me like system is just tearing appart and I dont want to go through system reset
Any idea how to fix this appreciated
ok I did factory reset, install basic apps like netflix, chrome, es file explorer and stickmount/foldermount then I tried sixaxis...installed ok, but when I try to pair via cable, gamepad is just blinking and cannot be found
I am lost, anybody similar issues with sixaxis these days?
sixaxis trick
ok so got sixaxis working finally...maybe this will help in the future to somebody else
I had to pair my ps3 controller with another android (hard reset using pinhole in back of the controller didnt help either) with sixaxis maping tool, then I set again in that tool bluetooth address of my NP and finally it gets connected
How do you get supersu to give sixaxis super user rights? If I have it set to prompt I have no way to click it as it disables bluetooth. I have it set to auto grant right now but don't want to keep it that way.
I've used my wireless keyboard which has its own controller so disabling bluetooth will not affect it
[Q] "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped." with with external keyboard/touchpad.
The error itself can be seen attached below (I apologize for the cellphone potato quality pic, but I really don't think I can take a picture any other way). I've tried this with two different keyboard/touchpad devices. One is a Logitech K400r, and the other is one a "Fosmon® Portable Lightweight Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Controller" (search for it on Amazon. Can't link. Thanks a lot, not-enough-post-spam-filter.) The former uses a dongle, and the other one is Bluetooth.
As soon as they connect that error kicks in, and when I hit "OK" it pops up again. I'm using the latest CyanogenMod nightly build. The search function only returned questions about phones, and none of those seemed to be related to input devices of any kind. Does anyone have any ideas...?
i think its the keyboard that you using.
im not l100% sure.
i have the same issue and i use Rii keyboard.
what kind you use?
