Is it possible to install Debian ARM on the Tab 4?
As the title says I was wondering if it was possible to install Debian(or other Linux Distros) on my Tab 4 10.1?
yes
Any guides or suggestions on how or just flash it like a normal ROM?

you can run backtrack 5 natively or chroot it but even if you do the pentesting abilities such as aircrack-ng wont work theres an app for dosing in the marketplace to test wifi strength ;( I've tried workarounds but hadn't fount one
any rooted rom pretty much will allow you to run Ubuntu or backtrack 5 natively but you have to sacrifice your recovery as for now I'm currently running the latest Ubuntu natively and its not bad not a PC experience but not bad at all
page 36 of this thread has the guide you need 8gigs free of internal memory

The problem I am running into is that when I try to run the bootbt file in the terminal it tells me what you see in the picture
I have been trying to find a way to get through this part... I have busybox installed like it says, but I don't see the bash file

IS there any way to dual-boot nexus 7(android-UBUNTU) ? (preferably on 16GB,32GB version)
I don't know about dual booting, but you can flash Ubuntu to the nexus 7 if you have a PC running Ubuntu already. I saw it on some tech site, forget which one though

if you mean ubuntu, there's no ubuntu version. and yes, you cannot install computer os to a phone, info: android is a linux based os itself
Yes you can install linux on our device.
The app is available on playstore to download image files.
You must have 3gb or more space free on SD card and your device must support loop holes kind of something feature..
And Y doesn't support Ubuntu but you can install debian.

Yes you can...!!
Yes bro it is possible...
A theme of UBUNTU is available in one of the xda threads for galaxy y..
Search it...
Sample shot is here....
Its is not possible to run any other version of linux os because galaxy y does not have the hardware requirment.
I have tried it ones but no result. It is worth to download 3 GB of data. Full of wastage of time, datapackage n the most important electricity.

I have seen threads referencing that Win8.1 can be installed on this device and Microsoft lists that it is compatible. I am, however, not finding any solid instructions for installing Windows on this device. Is there possibly a how-to for this?
You can't install win 8 on this device.
It is compatible with win 8 meaning it can connect to the tab 4 with drivers installed on win 8

Has anyone successfully installed Win 8 RT on a Tab 4?
Doubt it
Just try it, what's the worst that can happen?

Yeah I don't know if this will work win 8 isn't meant to be on a ARM device
