I have seen threads referencing that Win8.1 can be installed on this device and Microsoft lists that it is compatible. I am, however, not finding any solid instructions for installing Windows on this device. Is there possibly a how-to for this?
You can't install win 8 on this device.
It is compatible with win 8 meaning it can connect to the tab 4 with drivers installed on win 8

Has anyone successfully installed Win 8 RT on a Tab 4?
Doubt it
Just try it, what's the worst that can happen?

Yeah I don't know if this will work win 8 isn't meant to be on a ARM device

there is an ARM build if you can figure out how to get it off a MS tab and put it on a samsung. Good luck.

IS there any way to dual-boot nexus 7(android-UBUNTU) ? (preferably on 16GB,32GB version)
I don't know about dual booting, but you can flash Ubuntu to the nexus 7 if you have a PC running Ubuntu already. I saw it on some tech site, forget which one though

Hi. I recently switched to Windows 8.1 on my laptop. From this moment on, my Nexus 4 is unrecognizable by the PC. I've tried everything. Seached the whole internet, but did not find a solution to my problem. Is anybody else experiencing the same problems as I am? Is there anyone who can help? Thanks!!!

You mean MTP?
Try uninstalling any related drivers, and try again. Or try changing the USB port.
Yes MTP. Tried both. Still nothing...

Was it a fresh install of Windows 8.1? Did you disable windows update?
Is it an unofficial copy of Windows 8.1? In that case, it could be an OS problem..
Mine is working great on win 8.1 64bit with the latest Windows update. Make sure to install Android SDK (check the Android version you are running).

I've tried all drivers out there. I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro N 64 bit version and the phone is running PA 4.0 beta. Did the same thing with 4.3 as well....

I am curious as to what makes BLuetooth work in android. Are there just drivers for a particular Bluetooth hardware like drivers on a pc for a WiFi card. Trying to understand what is so different from Bluetooth functioning on 4.2.2 and not on 4.4.2. I would think that the stock 4.4.2 works just fine. What makes the aosp-cm11versions so messed up?

To my knowledge they are just like drivers on a PC. The way I look at it - when it comes to drivers from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 is like Windows xp drivers trying to get them to work on Windows 8. Sometimes they work with a few tweaks here and there and (if not all most of the time) they don't work.
