[Q] UK Nexus 4 Ordered 4th December

Hi All,
I ordered my Nexus 4 (16GB) on 5:06 on the 4th December, and I was quoted 1-2 weeks for delivery. The status has been pending up until this morning, but now it states my N4 is "pre-ordered" instead of "pending". What the douce?! Anyone else getting this message?
I know I'm impatient but I feel like a child waiting for Christmas morning to arrive.

Maybe it has gone out of stock... So they turned it to pre ordered in your tracker. Try emailing their customer support

Thanks for advice, I have just emailed them and received the same message from Google that everyone seems to be getting.
Looks like i'll just have to be patient... :crying:

Turns out order has been back logged, which potentially means it could be up to 7 weeks for me

Order shipped!

So it was supposed to take until after labor day for my phone to come in but I just got an email saying it shipped and will be here tomorrow. Good job moto

Hey You may wanna check your tracking info. I got my email as well and it says delivery Wednesday 8/28 but when I checked the tracking number from Fedex it says Motorola sent it over night shipping and it'll be delivered TODAY!

yup, just checked it and its coming today! i'm impressed that they did get it out so fast if that were that inundated with orders

Woot! Mine was actually supposed to come yesterday, but Motorola called me and told me they'd be shipping it out using overnight shipping and that I'd have it today

They are just managing expectations as being at the front of the order queue will probably still get yours delivered in four days, but it's mostly the people who ordered over after Friday that it might take longer due to backlog from demand.

Overnight shipping is standard even though they don't say it at the checkout.

I ordered mine on Sunday the 25th and I received an email this morning that mine has shipped and will be here tomorrow. Looks like whatever kinks they had in the first few days have been worked out.
EDIT: Just pulled up the tracking info. It's out for delivery.

Well this is odd. Ordered mine Friday morning and haven't gotten anything.

Yeah, doesn't hurt for them to play safe with early estimates and it also helps that there are still a lot of att and best buy stores that don't have the motoX display yet. I went to BB on Saturday to buy a RocketFish tpu case and a sales guy was trying sell an HTC One to a customer. I can't help but think how that sales pitch would be different if they had the displays set up.

Me too. Plus, I didn't even really customize mine, ordered an all black 32gb. I was also one of the first to get the "we're assembling it" email. Still no shipping notice :/

I ordered a 32 GB. The only customizations I did was a black faceplate, the black textured back, and yellow metallic buttons and accent. I couldn't decided on a custom boot message so I did not get one.

I wonder if the orders with custom boot messages take longer to assemble and ship out. Ordered mine around noon Friday and haven't heard anything yet. Got assembly email Friday evening.

Still waiting for my shipping email. I ordered early afternoon on Saturday. 32gb black front, black back, and silver accents. No custom boot.

I ordered last Monday and got a custom boot message. I got a call last night telling me my order would get here today.

well for what its worth i had a custom boot message and mine is on the truck for delivery. looks like the people who ordered a black back are the ones waiting? maybe they didnt' think that so many people would be willing to order all black 32gb phones instead of getting 16 gb in the store?

Dudes what's good? I pre ordered the note sept 19. When are we supposed to receive the phone? Any one got a clue? The web site says ship date 14-16 but is that date the day I'm supposed to get it or the day they put it on the mail? Confuseeed waited sooo long

Thats the date it is supposed to leave AT&T's possession. Depending on what shipping option you have, will depend on what day you receive it. IF you have the 2nd day FedEx, you should get it on the 16th (latest).
HOWEVER, there is a shipping date range. So if they ship it on the 16th, you will not get it until Monday the 20th. In addition, there has been a report (I have only seen 1 of these reports, but there could be more) of AT&T sedning emails that their shipping may be delayed due to shortage. Due to the lack of others not reporting this email (including me) and I am not so sure it is delayed for most people. Since TMO is shipping already, it is very possible that the AT&T has them in stock already and is prepping them to go out.
So the final answer to your question is ... I don't know, and neither does anyone else. The next few days is all we can say.

The earliest estimated ship date is the 14th. That's when they will hand them over to Fedex, UPS, etc. The phone doesn't officially release on AT&T until the 17th.

I was told I should have mine by Thurs. According to AT&T customer service. I ordered on first day of preorder and mine says estimate shipping 14th to 16th . Rep said it will ship out Tue. I'm not expecting until Friday honestly. However ,I got my preordered Note 1 on Thurs when it was was released in store on Friday . Crossing fingers!

Lol after nearly almost a month and att encourages to wait a bit more hahaha, sure teaching us how to be patient. Im quite desperate since im stuck at the moment with a galaxy note i717 tht has a cracked screen, mad slow, extreme wake lock issues, sometimes screen wont respond to the touch, lol after all I did had to change the glass about 2 times and I accidentally overheated the bottom part which also left a mark. Still works though lol. By the way it has tape all over the screen to keep the shattered glass from cutting me haha.

Man this blows, I've seen online that several TMO customers already had their phones delivered today and are in possession of them while we lowly AT&T customers who preordered on day one don't even have them mail out yet

Never fear, it could be worse. Yes, TMo get it today, but we are at least second. Verizon isn't until next week, and the UK missed their release and got it moved back to Friday with ours. Ours could be the smoothest.. maybe.

Anyone hear of the shipment yet? Status on AT&T's site is the same for me "preparing for shipment" with a date of 14-16th for the estimated shipping date.

Ordered on Amazon too, got the white 64GB though. The Amazon page says that the 64gb can be expected on December 19 and the 32 on December 1st of I'm not mistaken.
I do hope they come sooner though. The Amazon.co.uk website says that the nexus 6 is being released on December 15.
I know some people who ordered from the German play store and they got a December 15 shipping date as well.

I'm not sure if they cando that? Because on saturn and media markt i think they say the december 31. of earliest shipping day.

I can almost guarantee you it will not get to you sooner.

I think we can be happy if we get it still this year.

I expect the 15th of december to be the date for both the N9 LTE and the N6 to be released. Hopefully that applies to the accessories of the N9 aswell as I will take a fourth - and hopefully last - try to get that damned tablet without build quality issues.

So I've read a few articles which stated that Google would start shipping today. Has anyone received a shipping notification yet?
The articles also stated that Mediamarkt would have it next week and Amazon.de would ship it next week as well.

The 11 of december should be the official date of shipping (amazon.de); mediamarkt and saturn 2 days earlier.

Still didnt get a shipping confirmation though, ordered 20 minutes after it was available on play store, 32gb blue version.
Some other news sites said amazon will start shipping on the 11th.

google has told ntv directly that the play store will start selling (and stop accepting preorders) on 5., saturn and media markt will start 9. amazon and sparhandy will start on 11.
but they also said that these dates are subject to change.

I talked to Vodafone in my local area. Luke around 20 shops, and about 4 told me the ordered one single phone and it will arrive from mon to wednesday. If i fest my Finger on one device i will post it Here. **** Google, Id welcome paying 700€ If they'd let me

Same here, Media Markt and Saturn told me that they´re not going to get any Nexus devices in this year, so I got a Vodafone contract with the Device.
Ordered Friday, probably going to arrive tomorrow, if DHL is not lieing to me

OnePlus Black Friday purchase

Did anyone else purchase the OnePlus on Black Friday without having an invite?
I did purchase one and maybe I'm impatient but my order is still pending shipment. Anyone else having the same wait?

I bought one and my order changed today from pending to processing, so wait a few days.

Yeah I ordered one. Mine went from "Processing" to "Pending Shipment" earlier in the week but still no shipping confirmation. Getting impatient also, especially because my N5 died last week and I'm having to use my wife's old iPhone 4S!

I ordered a 16GB on Fri Nov 28th because the 64GB models were out of stock. Then on Sat Nov 29th I was able to order a 64GB model! I sent a message to OPO to cancel my first order but my 16GB phone showed up yesterday and i'm located in Canada! I'm going to sell it and hope that my 64GB phone shows up just as quickly!

One Plus One
The black friday sale was sold out so fast i had no chance to even try. Some one was nice enough to gift me a invite too bad i timed out before i could type in my paypal info so now im looking for a second invite and its proven to be very hard i realy want the device but dang its about impossible to get and invite let alone the actual phone. sad face on my face..hope the hunt is better for you people.

I started using only screen protectors on my past few phones and I've loved it. I'm really careful with my phones, but if I get any signs of it wearing, I'll probably end up putting one on

Yeah, I ordered 11/29, in the morning. Still "Pending Shipment."

Assume you'll be pending shipment till sometime next week. I can imagine they will arrive then, so buy your screen protectors soon

I got an update from a ticket with them:
Thank you for reaching out. If you ordered during the Black Friday sale, you may have noticed that your order status is still pending or processing. Black Friday sale was a limited time promotion and as stated on the sale's page, shipment may take longer than normal. However, rest assure that all orders will be shipped before December 25th.
If you paid for express shipping, once it's processed and ready to leave the warehouse, it will be shipped on express. You will definitely have your One in hand for the holiday!
