Hi guys,
Long time lurker here. I order the DX online on 8/10 and I'm still waiting. The VZW Web says Shipping 8/31, and I noticed someone else ordered theirs on 8/9 and received it this week even though the shipping date was 8/25 then.
I'm just wondering if there is anyone else in the same boat as me or if they were one of the lucky ones to get theirs recently.

What I was told by the Rep is they get sent out in the order purchased but the backorder date is the latest it should ship out.

I ordered mine on july 31st and they told me i would have it by the 24th. Much to my suprise it was on my door on the 11th! Hope you have the same luck, you will not be disappointed.

The salesperson in the store and the website that day put the ship date towards the end of the month. I was plesantly suprised! Hope you get yours soon. I love it! I have been a WinMo user since 2000! and decided to jump ship and loving it.

Im not even gonna tell you how jealous I am. lol I ordered mine on the same as day you, over the phone. The rep told me that phone should be shipped out by the 31st, but I am hoping & praying I will receive it b4 then.
Ordered on the 12th... still unpatiently waiting...
This wait is murdering me. I've already written off my current phone(storm 2). I now treat it like a step child.

Killing me.
Bought two via local brick and mortar store on the 11th... Nothing yet (no email from FedEx). The date I was given was the 25th. Good to know others are getting theirs, hopefully won't be long!
*Edit: Just to confirm, I was told I'd get tracking info via email from FedEx when it ships out... Did those of you that received yours get emails first? or did it just show up?
I received an email from Verizon with tracking info. I also receive an email when my bill is ready to pay. My wife didnt give VZW an email so she did not get notified.
I ordered mine on 8/13 and no word yet. I have fully resigned myself to wait to the first, but it'd be a very welcomed surprise to get it early.

I ordered mine on a Wednesday after work, and I would have had it the following Wednesday if I had been home to sign for it from Fedex...so the "two week wait period" is a little off, they're probably saying that just in case it takes a little longer than a week.
I have ordered the Asus Transformer on 13/4, and really looking forward to receive it on 21st as i have booked a slot on that day..
however the Comet rang me just before telling me that the transformer will be delayed AGAIN and won't get mine before 9th May! i was quite shocked and kinda disappointed with that (though i understood the supplies...) as i have pre-ordered it for so long and they told me there were stock available for me at the beginning.
Now i am holding a Xoom, but i will have to return it in 21 days if I have made up my mind on picking one of them, arghhh asus really fuc*ed me up

I rang them this morning to change my delivery address, and they told me it won't change the delivery time. After a few minutes they rang me back and told me about this piece of news. FML
just went on their website, now the earliest delivery time would be 3rd of May....i am thinking of ringing them again and know about this
I suggest you email asus with your order so you are on file for the keyboard offer,I did it yesterday and they said once on file the offer was available to me even if the tablet arrives past the offer date

I've just spoken with Comet after the dreaded answer phone message. I was due for delivery this Thursday and I have been bumped to the 9th May. They informed me that all 695 pre orders are going to be moved back and that no one will recieve one before this date. Sorry all!
Asus have failed to supply the number of Transformers that were expecting.
They also have no idea of when the keyboard will be coming into stock.
try carphonewarehouse, thats where i got mine last week, they had the one with the keyboard dock ready to ship out too, as one of the rep tells me on the phone while i was ordering the tablet from him.

I got left a message too saying that delivery had been delayed from 21st till 9th of may, emailed asus so hopefully still get the keyboard offer and also emailed comet requesting refund of delivery fee and inquiring how definite the new date is (probably won't believe any reply though).

it's free to deliver on 9th according to their website...but i doubt they would refund me than 5 quid though..
There's 2 for sale on gumtree (at least there was) might get it a bit quicker

They did that to me to. I phoned them and they have rescheduled the delivery to 3rd of May.
I had one on preorder from amazon from the 4th of April. They then bumped delviery to the 1st of June. The moment I got the email about the amazon delay I checked comet which said they had them in stock.
So I placed an order with Comet around the 12th of April. They took my money straight away and scheduled delivery for the 21st.
Had a phone call yesterday telling me they can no longer deliver on this date. Now I am sorry but to take my money and hold onto it for a week is disgusting if they dont have physical stock. my order was not a pre-order but a sale. I asked for an immediate refund and told them of their shocking behaviour.
I have always hated bying anything from DSG or comet stores and this just proves why. never again!!!
Good job I kept my pre-oder with amazon I am happy to wait until June now.

I've kept my eye on search on both XDA (i've searched my ass off) and Google - I can't find ANY intel on when GS is said to get their shipments.
The few people that got theirs from GS don't provide much info.
Is gamestop supposed to get a shipment soon, or am I DEFINITELY waiting til September 30th? (I *really* want to withdraw the $100 I put on it, and just buy it somewhere that has it, but I am getting a lot from trade-ins)

I believe I saw they will be getting a shipment August 7th. I think I saw it on one of the major tech blog sites but I can't remember for sure.
I got mine at Gamestop on a walk-in that Saturday after they went on the website as shipping in 1 day then they went backordered. When I went in guy said he didn't even think his store would get one because nobody preordered it and they weren't expecting anything til August at the soonest. Now I heard September as well when I stopped in the other day thats pretty crazy
I preordered mine on the 17th of July on Gamestop and received my Nexus yesterday, and I was told that it would arrive on August 7th.

The quality is great. No defects so far. The only downside I have noticed is that it won't charge off anything except the charger that came with it.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is an actual defect. Search around, and you'll see what i mean. If you can live with it, do so by all means..But i could see it getting annoying in the long run

Fingers crossed 3 have told me it could come next week (but the expected date on their website is in fact just a latest expected date) but they'll let me know, and if they let me know. I'll let you know!
Also buymobilephones.net told me that they were expecting stock by the 18th so there could be hope hat HTC are back on track and have pulled it back. Atleast on the Silver handset anyway.
So if you're being put off by a possible wait its worth asking the question rather than just not bothering because you think its late anyway.

I had same conversation with CPW last week they told me while estimated date on the site and sent out in Texts is 29th there is a chance stock will come sooner, I'm so hoping mid next week
Buymobilephones.net have updated me on Twitter saying 28th.
Perhaps 3 were indeed just pulling a fast one.

Anyone had any updates as yet on deliveries? Been trying to get through to someone at 3 that knows anything at all about anything but it seems today they're only letting people that at aged 30 are still having their asses changed by their mothers answer the calls!

Regarding 3 - I ordered the silver version on Saturday afternoon - spoke to someone on the helpline yesterday (Monday 18th) and she said it would be delivered today (19th), but I rang again to confirm this morning but it was still in the warehouse and not due for despatch later today. Rang again a few minutes ago to see if was going out tonight, but now been told that only orders made on or before last Friday would be going out this week - any orders made Saturday onwards would be delivered for the 28th (which is fair enough I suppose, as that's what it said on the website when I ordered). Thought there was a sneaky chance I might get it early for a moment, but not to be.

Yes I was told there was a chance of delivery today but apon calling today it was like everyone had forgotten the One existed or something. Acting properly stupid! They said they had stock coming in and I could hopefully have it by today but it seems they're saying one thing and doing another!
I don't mind too much as long as it does come by the 28th as promised, but it annoys me that they say something to get your hopes up then don't follow through. Gits!

I don't understand how every reseller has such different stock levels, availability and delivery dates....HTC have announced on Twitter that they've been rolling the phone out since Friday gone!!!

What do you mean incompetence? If you mean since they sold it to you today. They upped the release date from Tuesday to today.
I thought BEST BUYS site was full of it..... the in-store option said "Available Now"

Picked mine up this afternoon, Willow Grove, PA Best Buy, they're sold out now. I had it preordered already online for delivery, got the email at like 4am this morning saying the release date of a product you ordered had changed. I thought "well, looks like they probably pushed it back to a later release in August or something..." Then I saw that it was released today, so I went online to see if they were available for in-store pickup. Sure enough they were. Now I have the one I bought and the one coming via UPS. Now I'm hoping I can just take the one I got delivered and return it to the store with the receipt from the in-store pickup one so I'm not stuck with two.
Does anyone know when or if this is going to get its own forum?
Update: You can return an online order to any Best Buy, per their return policy. "Avoid shipping charges and receive a refund more quickly by returning your items to any Best Buy store within the United States."

Yes you can. It says on their website you can return anything bought online to a local store.
