[Q] Bit of direction please with s4 korean model

Hi,
If wrongly placed or question I am sorry!
So I got this phone the S4 clone and it works ok. I'm pleassantly suprised by it.
But if I would like to change the rom or firm Odin doesnt see it. I can enter *#1234# nothing happens. It says android 4.2.9 on the phone. Kernel 3.4.5-447903. I have this program called I9500 Quick Flasher and it sees it but i'm a bit scared to brick it. The bootrecovery is chinese and the up-home-power button menu is english.
Is there a way to get the phone to a other or original rom from samsung? Or anybody who could help me into the right direction?

Why would you want to get a clone? I doubt original rom will work, since the hardware might be different.

Flashing any ROM for an Official Samsung i9500 could brick your phone.
This is a completely different device the the Galaxy S4, it may look similar in appearance but that's where similarities end.

Ok thank you. The hardware is different. There is a MTK6589 processor in it but it says it's jellybean. But the android says it is 4.2.9 and that is something I don't know. The reason why I asked is because other phones like mine do connect with odin. I use MTKdroidtools and it sees my phone but not fimiliar with this program or if it is even safe. Still it does work in my country, the sim, programs like whatsapp, games, etc. but im someone who wants to know the inside.

The android version number 4.2.9 is probably fake. But the OS installed is still android. It'll be risky to flash S4 roms.

The rest still seems legit, not quite sure if there's anything different since I have i9505 version.
Edit: Are you sure this is korean S4? Isn't it chinese S4 or something? Based on the firmware version.

When I try to up the stock firmware for my E7 3gb for the second time I got the following problem:

As "man007cgr" said try to downgrade to 4.2.2 via CWM he says 4.4 cant see COM ports.

Just a warning!
I just want to warn you about the 4.4.2 update of the india gionee e7 rom. It seems a little suspicious. I personally stay away from it as it charged 9 euros from my sim card without any reason. And not only that, but also it closes the COM ports to prevent you from flashing another firmware.

He is charged because this rom has 2 programe that sends automatic messages and need to Be deleted.

Also,for fun,You can change those numbers with any so the messages will Be sent to that number.
The messages contains phone imei,operator code and other things about phone.
The messages are being sent every time You power on your phone and yes,IT charges your phone bill.

I talked with them to communicate the problem of SMS and this is what they replied:

Double Din chinese car head unit with custom software...any way around it?

Hey guys, I am really unsure where to ask or even if this is the forum to go to, but I've came across a few of these Chinese headunits online and they seem to be priced so well that I'd like to play around with it.

It's definitely not running Android. Might be a WINCE unit, or proprietary. I very highly doubt you can load anything else onto it. If you do want an Android radio you have to be sure to search for "pure android car radio". Also suggest not getting a AN21-U unit and try for the units with a RK3188 processor and look over to the unit with the MTCB MCU. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcb-android-head-unit-general

You need to open unit. There is board number written inside.
You need firmware for board version, not for the model. I installed firmware from gearbest and it bricked my unit (it was listed for model 7018b).
After few days searching i found out on other website about that.
It will be like this:
Model: 7018B
Board: 7022B-C500-V0.1
and then you can find firmware. Also you cant flash firmware through sdcard as there is no working firmware for that model.
You need to use CH431 programmer and flash directly eeprom chip.

I have a strange problem with this device.
All other phones got connected via bluetooth and play music fine.
Only Oneplus 7T when connected
music stutters.
Any workaround for it.

I have purchased a 7018B , 2GB , 16GB internal storage. It came with Oreo 8.1 installed and works great with Sygic GPS as well as Google Maps & Waze. I have also installed VLC for music playback. I have about 20GB music loaded onto a 32GB MicroSD. Great value - does all I want it to do.

For those suffering from any hardware defects...

Listen guys, I know that it's easy to think that because this phone is made and sold from China that you won't get any decent help or support from LeEco or Chinese sellers like Banggood, but that's no always the case, you have to be smart.
Originally I had thought that my fingerprint readers on both my X829's had died, so in a panic I contacted Banggood, I know how much of a run around customer service can get so I cut to the chase. I told them that my fingerprint readers had died. I told them that I had already troubleshooted as best I could, and that I had consulted the forums. I made a YouTube video showing the problem I was having. They told me that I could return it for a refund, but I quickly told them that it costs too much to do that and that the last thing I returned to them got lost in the mail. They then said that I could go to a local repair shop and that they would refund me up to $116 for the repair, so I made a fake invoice for that amount (I had originally bought two fingerprint readers for $7 each on AliExpress to fix it myself). In the end Banggood did refund me $116, and I didn't have to fix my fingerprint readers because I didn't know that I needed a newer modem (23S or 419D) to get them working on Nougat ROMs. Meaning that in the end I only paid $82 for my Le Max 2...

You have to go to "About phone" in Settings, it's in the description under "Baseband version". The link below is to the collection of modems for the Le Max 2. The recommended ones are the Chinese 23S, and the Developer 419D.

Did you update the modem and/or the rom?
Because you are on 19S version, make a test, update only the modem to 23S version and wipe cache and dalvik cache.

You mean, even I am at 19s,I need flash 23s modem?
By the way, don't you think the modem version is 33 for 19s and it is still the same 33 for 23s? I check the China directory. All is version 33. Unless version 33 does not mean anything.

Why all files are 33 i dont know, but yes, you can flash 23S over a 19S rom.
The modem files have the control of FP too, and for some how, old versions of modem let the FP "sleep" every time, and became "dead" when screen is off.

TBox Plus (CPC200-Plus) Firmware for QFIL or backup

Hello, I have a problem, my device stopped turning on after a failed firmware and it no longer works in the car. I need a system backup with userdata or firmware for the QFIL program. Help me please, thanks.

My TBox plus is also in the same condition,
the F*** carlinkit korea's firmware (update.zip) droves me hell. (my t-box plus is from aliexpress, EAU version)
So i tried to solve using EDN mode and QFIL utility. as a result.. no mbn file for TBox plus, and QFIL backups.
pls, help!!

I am also a product of the same EAU version, and the product became brick because of the Korean firmware file.
If someone provides a full dump file, I think I can save it using QFIL.
Anyone please share the dump file of CPC-200 plus.

1) What files to use if I have the 138 EAU with Android 11 and want to upgrade to Android 12 ?
2) What can I do to backup the unit now to revert everything with the current, if something does not goes right in the upgrading?
Please help, as I don't want to brick the device and be left alone without it working..
It is working great now, but I just want to upgrade it from Android 11 to Android 12.
138 EAU edition. 4GB+64GB.
