This is not for i9300 but for i9308 which is a chinese variant as far as i know from googling, also found that i9308's stock roms are bloated to death with chinese apps and such. Simply just dont flash this as its for the china variant and bloated to hell.

I've come across a China Mobile I9308, and I have the Asian/Chinese firmware on it and firstly, removing the bloatware takes 3minutes (quick root flash via Odin, install Root Uninstaller App and remove all stock/bloatware apps). Secondly, to install Google Play Store (which took me hours to figure out), you need to install a "gapps(something or other. I can't recall).zip. Only problem I've run into is getting 4G to run after flashing it to AT&T. And last but not least, I think this is definitely not the Chinese Firmware. The Chinese firmware can be found in samsung's website and the file has a different name.

Latest ROM
I have a i9308 and any of the newer release of the "official firmware' messed up my start up and made it loop...
I installed this using Heimdall skipped the bootloader as it seems to fail in both odin and Heimdall on hardware build 6.00
I found the newest official rom bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6344702 ... sorry not enough posts to send out side links ... i under stand.
everything else worked fine.... after this and i was able to back and do the usual install of CWM ..... which failed using Heimdall ... again on the bootloader .... so using Odin it worked ... i used virtual box and Windows 7 ... with the latest Samsung drivers ....i had to create a specific interface for the Samsung in virtual box so the i9308 would mount with out conflict in windows .... i was then able to install CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 ...
Once rooted i started looking for a way to install google play and all the google services.
i installed this ROM anzhi_karben_samsung_i9308_V1.0 which had the google drivers i needed and was not full of to much other crap and worked well in english ... i found this here bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6198323 i used my Wiebo account to do this and was then able to download.
I got the google pack ..... well one that worked and after i checked everything did not have any malicious scripts that i could find ... bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5401203 ... the zip file was gapps-ics-20120429-signed-4.0.4
i hope this helps some people Heimdall took a little after i figured out how to do this.... it was easy ... i have wiped it out a few times i nthe last week and tried different ROMs from the various Chinese boards ...some made very odd requests for SU access here and there ...i generally removed them after trying to find the offending script .... as i said so far the ones i am using have been pretty safe with little to no issues. I did go in and remove a lot of the preloaded China Mobile wares ...so far the phone is great ... i do fid the wifi signal sucks....
My first android i rooted myself ...see what happens after a drunk night in a taxi in Beijing and you lose your iPhone.... having fun.

I need help, I cant find anything about s4 sm-s975l i messed it up :/

sorry but there's no place for the sm-s975l hope im not in a wrong form ... I'm just asking for help
so I got a straight talk s4 sm-975l and it was amazing working fine till I made a mistake by getting a custom rom on it ... now i lost my imei and the phone says no sim card ... I searched everywhere and no one even knows the phone :crying:
can anybody from XDA help me

Not a well known device......
Did you back up your EFS folder before flashing a custom rom on it??
You may very well need to flash a stock rom back on the device. Check your firmware here - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/

I didnt backup the efs folder ... and I cannt find any rom for my device not even stock ... now when I go to efs folder there is no nv_data
i wish i didn't do this stupid rom ... the stock is better :/

I did the same thing were you ever able to fix it i now have a 500$ paper weight

Did you try reflashing the stock firmware?
If I am not mistaken, this is one:

This firmware is also the same one that comes up on sammobile. Looks like the only one at the moment.

it worked and i can see my imei and my sim card is working fine now
BUT its tuck on factory mode and my only problem with that is the wifi as if I turn off my phone or try to connect to an other wifi it turns off and doesnt work unless i factory reset :/ tried going to the efs folder to turn off the factory mode but the folder is empty .. and when I go to recovery mode to reset the phone it says FAILED TO MOUNT EFS FOLDER or something like that

As "man007cgr" said try to downgrade to 4.2.2 via CWM he says 4.4 cant see COM ports.

Just a warning!
I just want to warn you about the 4.4.2 update of the india gionee e7 rom. It seems a little suspicious. I personally stay away from it as it charged 9 euros from my sim card without any reason. And not only that, but also it closes the COM ports to prevent you from flashing another firmware.

He is charged because this rom has 2 programe that sends automatic messages and need to Be deleted.

Also You can shut them down by modify build.prop lines:

Also,for fun,You can change those numbers with any so the messages will Be sent to that number.
The messages contains phone imei,operator code and other things about phone.
The messages are being sent every time You power on your phone and yes,IT charges your phone bill.

I talked with them to communicate the problem of SMS and this is what they replied:

This device in the last turns out to be a fake Grand Prime with GT-S580F kind of a board, i have confirmed it by opening the device's back cover

The question is what is my Galaxy Grand Prime model if it shows G530F on the download menu (download menu here is the menu where we connect our device to ODIN and do software upgrade or downgrade) and what if the same device shows G530H on the recovery menu?
The application Phone INFO from samsung also says

Well thanks for the answer, but I am sorry to say that do you really think I don't know that? Oh dear, this is actually my innocent friend's phone who got tricked by someone, now the problem is that the phone shows it's a G530F in the settings but it shows G530H in the recovery and G530F again in the Download menu.
And today I have tried the repair firmware version of both G530F and G530H with PIT files to make it go home but it doesn't take both of them as it's original firmware.
Is there any other way like opening the device from the back and see on the main board like I did once for a LG G2 which was a D802 from the software but later it appeared that it was a LS 980 of Sprint.

He bought it in Pakistan? Second hand? God Bless Him. Btw, it might be that he's using the recovery nd the rom of G530H on his G530F so that's why you're getting those configurations. You need to install CPU-Z app from PlayStore nd post the screenshots here. I hope that it is not an mtk version. If the bootloader is G530F then most probably the device is G530F.
Btw, it is located behind the battery, just pull it out nd you can check it out, better post a picture.

@Has.007 I have attached some screen shots of CPUZ & PHONE INFO on my first post for help,
and i have got it as you said it might be an MTK version but surprisingly he didn't buy it from Pakistan rather he bought it in UAE, but again from a Pakistani person. Hahahahaha.

Finally I got it. It doesn't seems like to be an original Samsung Galaxy phone. Here is the main board of my friend's Galaxy Grand Prime; GT-S580F hahahaha is it an original grand prime?
From here now, i won't be asking anymore question for this device as i have seen that this is a fake Galaxy Grand prime. And i would like to suggest you guys one thing and that is don't buy any used mobile phone from any one whom you don't know and untill he or she gives you confirmation that if something goes wrong with this device which is later known as high as a fake device they would return it from you and refund you.

Note 4 SM-N910G Not registering on Network

Guys i am creating this thread after searching everywhere but not getting solution about this issue which i am having with Note 4. By attaching pictures i may not be explain the problem so i uploaded it on youtube. Please devs help me as I have not been able to make it work after trying so many things.

I check if IMEI is corrupt or something using PHONE INFO and there it showed the imei and i also check it on the back of phone and it matched.

Hi, i am from Indonesia..
I think i have same problem with you.. My Note 4 N910G does not registered by any network providers since i've installed Stock ROM from INU. Last time till now i can't using SIM CARD into it and i'm using WiFi Hotspot, cause if i attaching SIM CARD, my phone will suddenly dead when looking for signals.
I hopes someone can explains about my problem, before i have to brings my phone to service centre.

Its same here bro. Since phone is not registering to any SIM i have been just using as Tablet by connecting to WIFI only..
Devs kindly help. Suggest something to try regarding this problem please.

I think that i will try to fixing from software first, maybe with flashing its modem or baseband file before i decides to fixing hardware sections ( about PA Chip).
Cause its happened after i've upgrading my phone with new updates firmware fom Sam Mobile.
But i hopes someone in this forum can gives a solution to solves this problem.
And well.. For while, we just satisfying with a new model, Samsung GN 4 ( wifi only) edition :laugh:

Yeah in tried to fix if it was due to software, i tried to install official firmware Lollipop but it didnt booted. then i tried Marshmallow using Odin, Odin passed but didnt booted.. it was having continuous bootloops so again i reverted back to N910GDTU1ANK3_ODD1ANK3_India_v4.4.4_Repair_Firmware .. Phone is ON but with same issue.. Wired thing is that i am only been able to Install Philz touch recovery but anyother custom recovery like n910g-cwm-recovery-6.0.5.1(1101) or twrp-3.1.1-0-trlte.img are not booting into recovery...
Now as i am back to official 4.4.4. i tried to check using dialer code *#0011# ie of service mode. i am posting the image kindly tell me Guys if anything is wrong or something is preventing it from getting registered to network
when i am going to setting of my phone-->more network-->Mobile networks-->Network operators--> ( i can clearly see the network of my sim card over there)
but when i am trying to select it after sometime of registering on Ncell it says Unable to Connect
Guys please help..
