HELP!! - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys i am a total newbie here and this is the first time i have had to deal with this situatuion... i downloaded CloudyG2 2.2 on my lg g2 D800 unlocked at&t version, then upgraded it to Cloudyg2 3.3 because i just wanted to test out the rom, when i tried Cloudyg2 3.3 i figured it was running a bit slower and not to my liking so i tried downgrading back to CloudyG2 2.2 using the same process (Full Wipe Dalvik, Cache, System & Data ) and now my g2 is just stuck on the boot screen lg LOGO with the led light lighting green and blue, i have tired holding the power buton down to put the phone off but it wont go off, the phone comes back on and stays on the lg logo and do nothing after that i think that i have "soft" bricked the phone and would like someone to help me unbrick the phone please, i just got this phone last week please help me!

You have to put your phone in recovery mode and reflash rom or apply nandroid backup.

[Q] newbie problems with custom roms defy

Howsit guys, dont know if this is the right section, apologies if it isnt....a year ago or so ,i kinda bricked my fone, it got stuck in a boot loop, so i used RSD lite and flashed a stock rom (JRDNEM_U3_3.4.3-36-1_CHINESE_SIGN_SIGNED_UCAJRDNEMARAB1B80AA03A.0R_PDS03C_USAJRDNFRYORTINT_P011_A013_HWp3_Service1FF.sbf). Awhile ago i installed cm9 (CM9-NIGHTLY-121116-Defy) and noticed it would freeze up occasionally, pictures in gallery would go grey etc. Now i flashed back to stock froyo and then flashed cm10 (SJB-V3.1.7_BY-LM.(27.03-2013)_) , i did everything ,wipe data, the cache but it takes ages to boot up, it freezes up all the time and i have to take out the battery, if i open apps most of the time the fone gets stuck.
I love this rom but there are too many problems with my fone...whats the next best rom? or how can i fix it?
Any help would b appreciated :good:
Thanx

It's right there in the Development section. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133698
Defy sometimes has these weird problems that can't be explained. Your best bet would be to flash an SBF and wipe everything using stock recovery after flashing (which you might have to do anyways to get out of a common bootloop). Then you can just do the same old 2nd init and flash a new ROM.

Bricked Nexus 4, Stuck on Google Loading Screen PLEASE HELP!!

I'm sorry if it has been posted before, but I truly need some help! I don't know where to turn to.
I'm not an avid android user and only got my Nexus 4 on Friday. I decided to root it today, and everything was fine until I decided to download Franco's kernal on the play store. It crashed my Nexus, and ever since it's been stuck on the Google Screen!
I've tried everything in the Nexus Root Toolkit but nothing has worked! Please offer me some simple suggestions!
Recovery mode gives me nothing but a dead android wit a red exclamation mark!

so the USB 3 port was the dilemma in this circumstance although even with the gained ability to send the recovery file through cmd, im still getting the android with a red exclamation mark
edit: tried again and **** yea bro i got into the recovery mode that had an accessible menu
thank you! thank sweet baby lord jesus! thank life u saved my day with the usb 3 to 2 switch bro
edit again: got stoked for nothing, even with the recovery menu im stuck at the google screen, what else can i do?
edit: i figured if i could boot the recovery.img i could boot the boot.img too. booted the boot.img and it worked ! thanks for the help and your inputs cheers!~!

[Q] D800 - No recovery - Unable to flash in DL mode

So I'll start by saying I made a boo boo and this is 100% my fault.
I rooted my stock D800 and flashed TWRP. I flashed Cyanogenmod but where I messed is up when I flashed the D802 ROM and not the D800. I figured I'd just boot into recovery again using the hardware buttons, but all that happens is the screen turns on but nothing actually displays.
After that, I figured I'd just flash a stock ROM and basically start over using Download Mode and FlashTool. Unfortunately, I can't flash the stock firmware because the phone is NOT identifying itself as a D800, it's identifying as a D802, so FlashTool will not allow me to flash the proper files.
What I don't understand is why was I able to get into TWRP that one instance and flash the ROM but now whenever I attempt to get into recovery again the screen just turns on but recovery doesn't show. Makes no sense to me. I've tried getting into recovery using the hardware buttons a million times after but no dice.
I know it's not much, but I'm willing to throw in 10 bucks via PayPal for whoever can help me fix this.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582845 This ROM is compatible with both d800 and d802 variants. You can try flashing this just to get your phone up and running

Im in the same situation as you bro. Tried to use LG flash tools to flash my sprint back to stock and its detecting my phone as a d801. No help yet
same here from 2 weeks..
EVERYONE! I have found a resolution for this.
First, visit this thread.
Download the DLL from this post and flash with a normal stock ROM. I used this combo and it flashed WITHOUT issue. Hope it helps you guys out as well.

So it doesn't need to be in FAQ somewhere?Lol it would've helped me out dramatically! It's not my fault that there are recoveries that mess up your phone. Coming from Samsung phones I didn't think that someone would release faulty software that would render your phone unusable.

Help needed (before I panic)

Hello XDA forum members,
I'm back to the roots (last time here I was playing with my HTC Hero and updating my ROM to 1.6.... God, how time flies).
I've been a happy user of LG G2 for almost 2 years now, contemplating a new phone. I decided not to change the stock rom LG provided so I was absent from the forum for a long time (well - there was a flirt with iPhone 4 in the meantime). Saddly tonight my LG decided to die on me. I was not doing anything special (checking facebook) when it stopped reacting and then went dead. I can't turn it on (recovery doesn't turn on as well).
The phone should still be under warranty so I am not that much worried but I have not backed up my photos in a long time (not to mention some games but I guess this will actually make my wife rather happy - no point going back to them when I have to start over). I am wondering if there is a method to recover the photos? Since it's G2 we are talking about lack of SD Card
Any tips would be welcome (both on how to restore the phone if possible and how to get the photos).
The phone is not 100% dead - every once in a while the LG logo will show up but after a brief moment it disappears. Not sure if this is helpful information.
Does it have custom recovery? If not, bye bye everything!

If you have twrp, you could mount data partition from there and save all you need.... Bad luck.

Can someone help me? I can't install any ROM except the official ones

Every time i try install a ROM it flashes fine until i try to reboot... Then it gets stuck on the boot logo. I've formatted to EXT4 but im not sure if i did it the right way... Can you guys help me please, i don't want to buy a new phone yet and i need my phone in a few days when we go to the cabin.
Did you flash the stock kitkat ROM using fastboot.
Check this link :

If you didn't then try it.
Once you retrieve back to stock, you can flash a custom recovery. And try any other custom ROMs.

I think more people will be able to help if you give more information as to what you have tried and also something along the way of the type/version of the custom recovery you have installed etc.
