NO..why nothing in the pda case?????,
you haven't download the "tar" file?
The phone has been detected and you need to download and select the CF Auto root tar file. Then if you hit start, it will work.
I didn't achieve root in one time. I had to do twice...
See the second post here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423)

I am not sure if I am doing it properly though, after I download the CF auto root, run the odin v3.07.exe, at first the tick box next to PDA is untick but when I click PDA and open the MD5 file the box next to it is ticked. So does it mean that the file is already inside or does it really have to be inside the Box line? Tell me if I am doing something wrong and please help. Im running on Lollipop 5.0, Baseband version N9005DXUGBOA3, Build # LRX21V.N9005DXUGBOD1. Please see the attached file. Thanks for help guys!
That fail is usually bad download or wrong file .
baseband is not your product .

Yes to the Odin 3.09. When you click the PDA button (called AP in 3.09) it will pop up the dialog to go find the file (tar or md5) and the file SHOULD appear in the AP line e.g. d:\android\i9300\twrp-2.8.tar
See how you go with that - the fact the box isn't showing your file suggests 3.07 is not the right version.
does it worked with Odin 3.09?
if so can you tell me what you have done?
I used this method, worked perfect, and is easy

Hi you all!
i have got a galaxy note,
i hade the Revo note hd v1 rom before, when there was a upgrade to 2.5 i downloaden with kitchenpro, and istalled the rom, after the reboot, the phone didnt start it only freeze att start.
but i could go to download mode.
now i´m trying to flash with odin 1.85 but it fails after factoryfs.img!!
triyd the latest original N7000_XXKL8,
and tryid N7000XBKK4_N7000OXXKK5_NEE
same problem, what can i do??
please help!!!
Why did you tick Re-Partition?
Before you flash everything (with pit, csc, modem and repartition), you should try to the most basic solution first: Flash stock ROM in PDA only.
download firmware at: http://fus.nanzen.se/
(from Hoffighter's posting) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1350960
Download Check Fus Downloader 2.1, using the Check Fus Downloader, download Firmware N7000XXKL8 (Ibelieve it's for Germany). It will automatically decode the .enc2 file to.zip file
Extract the .zip file generated from decoding file to a folder and you will get
.tar.md 5 file.
open Odin3 1.85, attach the .md5 file to the PDA field on Odin.
(Leave pit, phone, and CSC blank, uncheck re-partition)
Go to download mode and click start on Odin.
If the above steps still fail you, than you can try other things.
but I believe your problem has nothing to do with Modem, pit, or partitioning.

hi thnx for the reply,
i have ticked the re-partion because, i downloaded the flash tutorial from sammobile and it says so in the tutorial.
i have tryied with ticked and unticked. its not the first time i flash with odin, so !?
hii.
i have tried one file flash ( N7000XBKK4_N7000OXXKK5_NEE )
its stock rom, and tried the latest stock( N7000_XXKL8 )
and i do flash with odin the way you whrited.
any other ways to try?
Dont use 'Re-Partition'
Just follow link in my signature,(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997)
and I can see Netchip CWM in ur image, Dont use it, otherwise U will get increased binnary count as well yellow triangle.
Remove all ur file and follow instrauction as i said.(dont messup)
I had the same problem odiin got stuck at factoryfs.img....
Had connected phone through usb hub. ..connected it directly and problem solved
Hope this helps you

It seems you have raised binnary counter already.

hello there! I was using this tutorial:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsKvFaPdm5s

the program ran for a good 5 seconds and then I was met with that error, my phone looks like this:

so it appears that it may have something to do with...my...Cache? I'm not really sure that would really mean, though.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm alright, I downloaded Official VRUBMI9 4.3, and yet when I click on PIT in Odin, I get nothing
in other words, in your instructions here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483380
it says "Step 5: Click on the Pit function of Odin and select Pit file you downloaded in Step:2."
The problem with that, is that when I click on Pit, I get nothing, here's a picture of what I'm talking about: http://i.imgur.com/gJ2O0iu.png?1
So even though I downloaded Official VRUBMI9 4.3, I get no options for anything, when I click on Pit
Know what's going on here?
You want the file from this link
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23159073880936457
its not zipped, so wherever you download it to is where you navigate to from the PIT button..
And youre most likely using the wrong odin file you should be using MJ7. You get the secure cache check fail from trying to flash MI9 over top the new firmware (ie when you tried the de la vega it is MI9 firmware only Kingo works with MJ7)

okay so there's your link, but what about VRUBMJ7 4.3? I'm downloading that now....Do I use your link you just linked me, as well as VRUBMJ7 4.3?
You can use the .pit alone to see if that will unbrick it or use both to return it to stock MJ7 file is linked in that thread http://downloads.crackflasher.com/?dir=Devs/Hashcode0f/note3/hltevzw

Did you do a checksum on the file you downloaded? I tried installing a modem on my i337m, same thing odin failed... downloaded the same file from a different source and success... unfortunately there was no md5 number on the file to do a checksum or I would have done that first.... when it comes to stuff like this I alway do checksum if the md5 is provided... Download checksum tool from here http://download.cnet.com/MD5-SHA-Checksum-Utility/3000-2092_4-10911445.html its free. Then you find the md5 number on the site you downloaded from and use the tool to compare the numbers, typically you navigate to the directory the file is in (this gives you the md5 number, then you copy paste the md5 number from the site, then click the compare button, if they don't match your download is not good and should download again and repeat the checksum.

I don't know what firmware version you're on, but you're most likely going to have to use odin with your current firmware version. This will return you to stock. Backup everything before you do this.

Hi ,
I think you have latest build now (4.4.4) , yes ? If yes , you must to try to flash via Odin older firmware http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/34971/T537VVRU1ANE2_T537VVZW1ANE2_VZW/ from any source . Before flashing you must to do factory reset . Then to try Towelroot . Perhaps you must to try like here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58501194&postcount=245 . Then freeze or delete update service . If all will be fail , flash your last firmware again (for return back) .
Remember , you lost data when do factory reset .
You not afraid nothing .

So , good guide . Follow him . Unfortunately install this firmware does not work.
You dont try flash only older kernel like PDA via Odin ?
I also tried to flash using odin 3.07 and the PDA option but it fails.
Thanks again for all the help

And why exactly shouldn't they try that? That's exactly what they're doing here I even contacted the moderator to verify that. Plus I used that method to re-root after I had to Odin back to complete factory stock. I don't see what the problem is flashing just an older kernel, rooting using towelroot, and then flashing the most current kernel. That's exactly how my tablet is rooted and was on the most current firmware (OA2) before I flashed Cyanogenmod
