Just make a little research on ebay or google and you will get an idea of the prices.
Where you live for example can be a factor on the price...
Hi guys!
I just replaced my broken digitizer with one I bought on ebay, and the new one works fine.
However, the earpiece speaker does not work. Help!
Do any of you have any tips for me?
PS: I already threw away the old one when because the touchscreen seemed to work fine, so I can't just take the speaker from that.
I just bought a new digitizer off of taobao. It cost me 120 RMB ($19) and comes with a replacement front shell. When it arrives I'll install it. Good luck with your speaker, when I get mine in I'll look at the circuitry to see if I can find anything to help you.
EDIT: Replaced mine, it was pretty easy. On your speaker, did you reconnect the speaker wire correctly? Or did the wire get damaged? That's the only thing I could see that could go wrong with it.

I have the same problem. The speaker in the new digitizer is bigger than the old one.
An image showing the differences
Does anybody know where to get a fitting digitizer/speaker?
Seems like there are no right ones on ebay...
Update:
I've contacted the seller. I will send him the part number of my digitizer (printed on the cable) and he will try to get the right one for me.
The ebay seller is 'easyworldwidetrading'. I will update this post for the folks who need this kind of digitizer.
Update 2:
My digitizer is a "TM1564" model which will be send to me now.

hi, you got a link to buy?
Not really. Just had some email conversation with them/him.
The shop is called 'easyworldwidetrading' on ebay:
http://myworld.ebay.com.hk/easyworldwidetrading?ssPageName=ADME:L:OCE:1181
Haven't got the new digitizer yet. He wrote "It is OK, I will check about it and reship the TM1564 model touch screen to you, is it OK??". I am expecting to get it within the next two weeks. I will keep you updated if you want or you can write him on as I did. Maybe he will start selling the TM1564 on ebay too.
Old speaker with wrong digitizer
Hell,
i wonted to ask is it possible to use old small speaker in new digitizer replacing big speaker?
Is there any other differenc in digitizers other then speaker size?
If i take big speaker out and glue or attach small speaker in the place, can i work like that?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I had a look at the two digitizers and yes, I think that it is possible. If I can help you with images or anything else just send a msg to me.

Ok, thanks for info, i will try it and report what happens.
Hello, i have tried and it works, so you can use your old speaker instead big speaker in digitizer. I just replaced big speaker with my old small speaker and it worked. You have to center it in digitizer and put something on top of the speaker i used double layer tape otherwise speaker is too much in and it doesn't make connection.
On top? You mean towards the ear?

You know, you don't have to replace the speaker and case. You can remove the digitizer from the case and put it in your old case with the smaller speaker.

He could not get it. But i've found another ebay seller which offers the TM1564 touch screen.
I've just ordered it. Will keep you updated if it works.
Search for "Digitizer Touch Screen For HUAWEI Ideos X5 U8800 Front Frame Cover small speaker" on eBay.
I changed the digitizer yesterday, it was very hard!!
Hi everyone. Today, I noticed that something is covering my front camera lens.
Do you know what is that piece covering the camera? Anyone encounter this situation?
I didn't drop my phone not even once and I tried to smack the top of the phone to see if it moves, but no luck.
P.S. The camera is able to take pictures normally.
I have a SM-N9005.
Thanks
Go exchange it... Looks like a faulty device. It could be a piece of electrical tape in the wrong position.

Looks like some sort of cover for the camera.
Maybe this site can help understand: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+Note+3+Teardown/19209
But i think @nicholaschum 's solution will work best.

I don't think they will consider to be a faulty device and change it, although I would like a new Note 3 :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
To me, it seems to be a soft plastic that keeps the front-camera in position and not to touch directly the front-panel (display assembly).
So, probably they will change/remove the soft plastic
GO to your provider an request a NEW device
Do this : Contact 1st Samsung Service in your country and tell to them the problem becouse this a factory fault phone .
After you make some papers and a proove that you contacted already the samsung Service from your country , contact your seller and show him the problem
YOU MUST proove that : you did NOT DROPED your PHONE , DID NOT SHOCKED YOUR PHONE with some other things , like drop with speed in bed trow in the pillow etc etc , proove that you did not used any screwdriver , to have ORANGE WATER SENSOR in the back under the battery STILL ORANGE and NO ROOTED PHONE .
THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR DEVICE , BECOUSE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX THAT IS A PART OF A PLASTIC THAT WAS SLIPPERED FROM HIS PLACE .
If someone doesn't mind, could I get a top, bottom and side pictures of their N910F?
Trying to see if I can swap a N910F frame with N910T frame.
Thanks.

It could be swappable as the frames are the same even if you have a t-mobile variant the chasis is identical on both devices just minor difference in software and back cover because of branding purposes Anyway I hope someone could help you with the pictures. I would help you but my phone arrives in 2 days or so . Best of luck!

thank you for your effort.
Incredible. Thank you very much for your effort! @iakoboss7: I guess that the usb/power board is the same for Kate and Kenzo.
I can assure that the Redmi Note 2 3G ear speaker fits the Kate version and probably so does the Kenzo one.
Edit: You may want to add this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LCD...ote-3-Pro-Note3-Pro-Prime-SE/32815691278.html

Hello.
Just to give you a feedback.
I ordered the screen of the Link 1 and unfortunately there is a touch calibration problem.
The touchpad seems to be out of sync. When you type G, you have V for example (a kind of 5mm difference on all the screen). If you type on the upper part of the letter it's ok but not for the bottom part.
I sent a message to the seller. I will tell you if he answers me.
-- EDIT
Ok, He answered me very quickly but I'm not really convinced
The first step:,please take off the Lcd from the phone .
The Second step lease use the clean cloth to clean the phone motherboard flex table.
The Second step lease install the Lcd again ,press and hold the power button to force a reboot.
And then the problems will be solved .

Yes, thank you Kiwironic for your tip. The problem is not the price, it's take the phone to pieces and assemble it again.
Anyone has tried this one with the frame ?

Just follow the steps in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjHMp9ayjak
The hardest part is getting the screen off the frame, you can use a hair drier and a suction cup to get them separated, or just order the LCD with frame and it should be much easier.

@iakoboss7, did you find a USB board after all? I need the exact same board myself, and not much has changed since August.
sadly i couldnt find it so i bought a redmi note 4 global (at 110euro i couldnt resist).
i am still looking for it if anyone manages to locate it!
hey im totally new to using this site so if im missing something or doing this wrong let me know, thanks. so i have been trying to figure out how to get lineage os on my s5, and as far as i can see its impossible as i have the Toshiba chip. now i was curious buying a new main board is not that expensive on ebay, can i just swap the board out for one with the Samsung chip and be good? is it even on the main board? is there a way to find out which chip you have from the board with out reading the cid?
thanks
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. Yes, in theory, but it's usually not clearly seen on the photos. You need to look a little under protective shield. I think, it's a bad idea.
This is it with the shield and without on the first photo.
The second photo shows Toshiba chip and the third shows Samsung chip under the shield but I doubt if you manage to force the seller to make such photos or take the shield's cover off.

I don't see any part number on the motherboard.
I have 6 or 7 here including 3 for SM-G900V.
2 of them are with Samsung chip and marked as on the first photo.
The third one is with Toshiba chip and marked as on the second photo. But this one is definitely newer and I cannot say that 1411 in marking means Toshiba and 1409 means Samsung.
Hey thanks so much taking the time to share such good information. And pictures.
