For some reason, the "Dynamic" setting on my Stock E2 rom is not working. Im running on the PNH one. I flashed it today using Odin and am running it with a KTweaker Kernal. Anyone any idea's?
Cheers!
i have a galaxy s4 i9505ZHUDMI1 (not sure where ZHUD is from, china maybe?? cant find the origin anywhere online)
i have TWRP, i had flashed it to WanamLite rom , but things didnt work great, many problems, then i switched back to a backup of my original stock rom, but some things didnt work like whatsapp and this podcast app, things just messed up. i did a factory reset, still weird stuff going on.
how can i go back to a stock loader and stock rom, anyone know a page where they keep stock software around????

Get a 4.4.2 stock ROM for your region from sammobile.com and flash it via Odin.

Go to SamMobile.com, sig in and select your model and zone code (CSC). In your case is Honk Kong (TGY).
ok great i downloaded the stock rom!! i havent tried it yet it's a little late, do you guys think its better to just keep the TWRP bootloader or try to go back to the stock bootloader?

I dont understand what you mean. You are mixing btw bootloader and recovery. I recommend u flash TWRP (coz you are using android 4.2.2 and you dont have KNOX) for flash CUSTOM ROMS in the future if your wish :highfive:

You are confused between bootloader and recovery.
Twrp is a custom recovery and you don't really need to go back to stock.

Yeah I kinda get confused, thanks so much though the things on my phone work again!!
hello guys,
I rooted my Note 4 SM-N910C yesterday, and everything was fine until now. I saw that reactivation Lock(can't flash via odin when it's on) was off, so I tried to turn it on, but it was not working. I tried everything, but without sucess. I tried to flash a stock firmware from sammobile, and after that, it was working, so I rooted again and It's not working anymore.
So, someone knows a way to root and get it working? Did you have this problem too?
help me :/

this is a kernel related, I think. Everybody says that it still working on Snapdragon's Note 4, but here at Exynos, you can't activate it.

I dont think it is that, I have a friend with the same model that us, and the activation works on his phone :s
So, guys, have anyone solved this problem?
I also have rooted Note 4 and neither "Remote controls" nor "reactivation lock" can I activate...
reactivetion lock not working
I also encountered a similar case but only used through l launch , give me one new idea when it dies in it :good:
Guys, has anybody solved this problem?
Here I am, rooted GS5 with MM fw, before root it worked, as it did with lollipop and kitkat.
After root it doesn't turn on anymore, I reflashed stock recovery too. I guess it's related to knox 0x1, with rooted knox 0x0 kitkat and lollipop I could enable it.
Or maybe it's kernel related, so systemless root with stock kernel could be the solution
Good news, after reflashing a stock firmware I could enable RL back. So it's not knox related but root related. Tomorrow I'll try with systemless root

I think what is needed it to copy your stock recovery from an official touchwiz rom and flash it. You will need a tar.gz converter to flash it via odin. Sometime ago I tried it where your root remains but you have a stock recovery. I believe all those Samsung security features like Reactivation Lock relies on a stock recovery and not a custom like ( TWRP/CWM)

I reflashed stock recovery but still no luck. It's root related, or better kernel related, as someone posted above. I'm on systemless root and it shows "warranty bit kernel" message at boot. With rooted lollipop and stock kernel/recovery it worked

Just flash supersu beta via twrp
You must have stock boot.img, I suggest reflashing the entire stock firmware if you did some modifications

Look...i am currently rooted. I have twrp 3.0 and i flashed super su beta. I dont have any modified or special kernels of that sort...just root. So are you telling me all i need to do is flash the original touchwiz boot.img from the marshmallow rom file ( i will have to go convert it to a Tar file) ???.... And that will give me the ability to stay rooted and be able to use reactivation lock again ???

Ok..thats what i thought.......its best we stay without it then. Or go back completely stock and unrooted to use the feature.
Hello, seen there is no new news about this.. Has anyone got around this?
Can we root and activate the reactivation lock now?
Thanks
I was wondering if there is a way to skip track with the volume keys without having Xposed installed because I am using stock rom and framwork get my phone stuck on boot. I am rotted etc so if there is anything I| could flash it would be appreciated.
A custom rom.
All Cyanogenmod roms have this feature.
There's a GPE rom with this feature.
And the TW custom roms might have this feature too. You'll have to ask in the TW custom rom threads.
Other than that, Xposed is the only option.

Well, obviously you're doing something wrong.
No im doing a full whipe cache data etc then flashing rom
There must be something else. Does the rom even support your model?

I assume you did a factory reset between the roms you tried?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
@audit13 n9005 lte @celderic yes sure. Today i made mega wipe including my datas and installed full stock from sammobile when i reinstall my apps with titanium backup it happened again.
Does the stock ROM work without restoring any apps?
Yes it work. After restoring my apps hours days or weeks later it occurs. İ suspect some apps which i installed on internet, non google play. ?
I flashed stock through odin and install just google play s app some minutes later it happened again.
But it just 5.0 stock based roms issue for me.
Totally weird !
Yes, it is totally weird that this would happen.
Have you tried flashing stock ROM with a pit file? Not sure if this would make a difference.
Yes i tried. Not that happened on Note 4 port rom. I'm gonna try with temasek's aosp now.
But first time i face this kind of error. Note 3 phone with note 3 base error.
I also pull out my sd card, re install all apps from google play (not titanium backup).
Are there any app or xposed module to show the background whats going on or is there any app conflict to settings ? Because i made mega wipe and install QS 'S note 3 base rom and installed all google play apps and 1 day after this morning when i push to settings it says settings has stopped again...
