Serve is essentially American Express' version of PayPal. It's becoming popular fairly rapidly especially here on the XDA marketplace.

through an email they were saying they needed it to confirm it. Btw did you get your ten dollars?

I did this a while back, there's already a thread in this section about this. I can confirm it works though

You don't get it until you recieve the card in the mail and confirm it with the card #. I think mine just confirmed and went through just like that.. no other confirmations needed, says to watch the mail for my card.

Keep getting code you entered cannot be found after entering IMEI - will they have a list of which IMEI were sold when? Also mine is unlocked.

I'm getting IMEI not recognised too.

I bought mine locked to o2 cheaply off ebay, then unlocked it, my imei worked so maybe it's for o2 customers?
Went back on and entered my imei for a second time after placing an order and it doesn't stop me from ordering again which is a bit weird?

Over at HotUKdeals someone said they got an email from Kondor saying there's a delay in getting the IMEI's onto their server so try again Monday and it should work.

Just logged on to purchase my HTC One M9 -- notice they have the Developer Edition listed in addition to the Unlocked Edition.

The only difference (afaik) is that the Dev edition comes with an unlocked bootloader. Although the only way to get the gold color seems to be the unlocked variant. So do that if you have terrible taste.

You can boot loader unlock the unlocked model as well so don't see much difference.
Ordered the unlocked version in Silver color. Says ships on 03/30 and I chose one day shipping so should have this next Tuesday [emoji1]

I actually asked on twitter and they said they wouldn't have it. I hope its not a website mistake!!

This is the unlocked model from HTC.com not the T-Mobile branded version. I don't like carrier branded phones so chose the unlocked model.
T-Mobile will start pre orders from tomorrow morning.

does the purchase from htc.com require valid US address, card and contact no? I mean last time for suspicious orders they put things on hold and asked for a call to the CS.

Yes - the fine print on the site says it requires a US address. Not sure about a US card though, but they do require you to enter your billing address (which is US only as well).

In Canada, our credit card companies have the ability to add a valid secondary US address onto our profiles to avoid the hold issue. Can you do the same maybe?

Status of your Note 7 Promotion !!

I just got my Note 7 today as of 08/18 with T Mobile . After received my device , I submitted my promotion with 256 SD Card and got Approved and preparing for shipment after 2 hours. This time is quicker than S7-S7e promotion ..
Here is my screenshot , post here any update on your promotion and share it .
Here is where you can get receipt to submit with your form :
+ I went to MyTmobile , click View Activity and then go to Order Status page , you will see your order on note 7 . After that , click on More Details.

I used the lease agreement PDF from your activity page or myTmobile. Just saved a screenshot and sent it to them.

So many people taking the 256GB card....I selected the netflix, because I actually use that daily. I already have an 128GB card in my s7 Edge but barely used 5% of the capacity. lol

Mines preparing for shipment as well...Wow that was fast! All in one day...
The Samsung rep told me that it's taking only on average of 3 days for the promo goodies to get shipped out.

Nice & yeah I also got the note 7 on 8/18/16 hehehe yeah i did the same thing, used snip tool. Also went for the 256gb sd card, I should be fine with my 64gb sd card until the new one arrives.
The one thing I noticed was the touch sensitivity is no longer unless they moved it?
Ive searched with no avail. I got the s2 watch, waiting for the s3 watch to use my jump hence opted for the sd card. Wife did the same thing hehehe.
Any news for root? I cant transfer my app data from my note 4 ugh!
Does anyone noticed some lag on the keyboard and the touch sensitivity or is it just my glass screen protector?

Registration for free Gear VR

Can someone else explain time how the registration works exactly? I filled out my forms and they were approved via email. It says 6 to 8 week shipping period, but I've been hearing some people say you have to add it too your cart and actually check out? And what about tracking numbers? Can anyone confirm?

I think that's mainly when you pay for the Immersive bundle which has more stuff.

Best to call the 1-800-SAMSUNG # shown in the SAMSUNG PAY app. I just did mine this morning was as able to provide my IMEI #, and pay the $99 ($107.17 after tax / shipping charges) to get the full bundle ordered. Now the wait!!

When I had it on my phone, it was showing a tiny tiny picture of what I believe was a phone. They're possibly updating the website to put in a correct graphics to represent the phone? Not sure.

I went to the website on my phone and put it in desktop mode and that solved the issue. My VR is just waiting to be shipped

Just wait. If it's accepted it'll come, eventually. My gift from the Note 7 took like 3 weeks or something.
Also - you'll prob use the VR twice and it'll collect dust lol

That's what the Samsung website says. I have no idea why it would take so long so I'm hoping it will come before then. I'm an impatient person so I'll probably be checking the status every day. I'll let you know if I find out anything else

If you din't want the $99 bundle, then for sure call the 1-800-SAMSUNG # and explain to them what is going on and for them to correct what's needed so you can make sure you get your free VR headset at the very least. Sooner than later. With how fast these bundles sold, I'm afraid they won't have enough free headsets for those that pre-ordered.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy on 3/31. When I picked up the S8 on 4/21 the receipt from Best Buy showed the date as 4/21. I uploaded that receipt when I registered for the free gift. Anyone know if Samsung will know that the phone was pre-ordered and not simply bought on 4/21?

You can likely print out your phone upgrade agreement from your carrier, that should show when your account was updated the day your pre order was placed. How that helps.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy and got the same message from Samsung when I uploaded the receipt they gave me with the phone. Luckily I pre-ordered online so I went to bestbuy.com, logged into my account, and clicked "Order Status" at the top of the screen. Then I clicked the order number for the purchase of my S8 and that took me to a page showing the order details, including the date that I pre-ordered. I clicked the print button on that page and it printed a full receipt with the order date and pickup date. I just uploaded that receipt so hopefully that will take care of it.
