[Video] Photography Tutorial part 2: Composition - Xperia Z3 General

Hey folks,
Since I posted a previous thread in these forums with the first part of my smartphone photography tutorial, I figured I'd post the second part here as well.
It seemed like you guys liked the tutorial with my Z1, and I'm hoping you will like this one even more, about composition:
(For those interested, here's part 1; Xperia Z1 Flickr album is still here.)

Thank, very useful information.

Newbie - MDA Compact has arrived

Hi everyone, I have owned an XDA II for some time and have never got round to registering on this great site. On checking some of the posts on here I decided that enough was enough and it was time to get a new phone. On discovering the price of the MDA Compact via the Scancom website I ordered one. Arrived the next day and here we are!
The main reason why I choose this phone was the size. The XDA was simply too big and referred to as 'a brick' by most!
Being a newbie and reading through some posts, it seems that you can do rather a lot to these small devices! It anyone has a link to an overview of terms, (i.e Roms, overcooking, etc) that would be mostly appreciated.
Will be keeping my eyes peeled to this forum as the camera really does suck! If anyone has any way of upgrading this please let me know. It really is nowhere as crisp as the picture on the XDA II.

video linked on phandroid

Hey guys, just a little side note.. I posted a video on how I rooted the the Hero, with the steps described here, on youtube.. I went to phandroid to get my daily does of android news and it was linked on their site.. Makes me really happy.. First video ever..
Just a side note guys..
Video is dedicated to all the hard working guys/and gals that have been working to hack the Hero. You made it possible.
Good job to everyone, we achieved what many people said would be impossible. Im proud, of all of you

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 XDA Wiki Page

Hi,
I've created a Wiki Page at XDA for our (almost) beloved phone.
Here's the link : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=SonyEricssonXperiaX10
Please feel free to add some tips and/or tricks in this page with the EDIT button.
For the ROOT part, i suggest to list all the solutions that the devs could have and the result for each one.
Great idea!
I'm happy to see some positive stuff in all these whining and moaning in this (kind of unmoderated) forum.
It makes me happy, that there are some people that really like to do some work for the community.
I'd like to add some of my disassembly / spare part / repair device stuff if you guys like.
Unfortunately I've no clue how to do it, what is good and what not and so on. Never worked with a Wiki before, as I'm more the "handcraft" guy and less the Web 2.0 co-worker / lover...
Is there anybody with wiki experience, willing to give some helping hand / advice?
Unfortunately nobody helped in my Disassembly thread.
I know my gramma, phrasing and spelling is more than bad.
So I don't like to copy and paste it to an wiki...

hey McKebapp's, it would be great to have all the stuff from your thread on wiki, just click on the EDIT button and you can edit the whole text as well as add your own titles/subtitles etc...it's not that hard and i'm sure somebody will correct your spelling if necessary so don't worry, i'll check on you if you'd like

Someone might want to update the Wiki with information from the 1st page of Xperia X10 Rooting and Custom ROM Development.
Added a German review + edited "my" links a little...
Hope I didn't do it wrong
I added "Compass" in Connectivity...
- redirect to current wiki page added
- JIT install link added
More about 2.1 please ^_^, like LED did work only when the screen if off for example. Hope the wiki will become more of info. Great job.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
I edited the memory info. Specifically RAM info. It's 384MBs, not 256
It still show 287 MB at OS monitor app.

[CLOSED/G2] Reviews Thread: Bring on the Reviews!

Found one of the first reviews that popped up! Thought id share and create this since its inevitable, with the device out and all, that its only a matter of time before the big guys start putting up the reviews!
If you find a website with a credible review of the phone, please post it here.

Lightbox General

Hello everyone.
I've seen a lot of threads here of users posting AMAZING photos taken from our X10. Are you guys on Lightbox? If not then I'd really want you guys to join so we can follow each other.
Here's mine http://unrealrik.lightbox.com/
Post yours if you have one and if you don't, make one
_____
Edit : Market Link https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lightbox.android.photos
lightbox isn't all that great of an app as far as anything goes but it is a pretty simple way to upload/store pictures.
here's my link:
h_tt_p://_greenguitar92.lightbox.com(just delete the underlined spaces im still a new user so i can't post links)
It has a lot of potential, you can say the same about instagram but almost everyone who's on iphone uses it, don't they.
sorry im not familiar with iphone apps the x10 is my first and only smartphone.
all im saying is that there are other choices out there, picasa isn't a bad choice it has a fair amount of editing abilities and you can store your pictures and your contacts all in the same place.
Come on guys, use your goddamn 8 megapixels.
