Hey guys, just a little side note.. I posted a video on how I rooted the the Hero, with the steps described here, on youtube.. I went to phandroid to get my daily does of android news and it was linked on their site.. Makes me really happy.. First video ever..

Hi all, well after doing tons of looking and research I have taken the plunge and got myself one of these to play with... its replacing my X1 and TyTN II... hoping for some great things particularly as I do a lot of reading and watching vids on my phone now... I also use it for Chinese reading and writing so hoping it matches up there too... really looking forward to getting it and taking it for a spin... is there a thread that sort of discusses the topic "ok so now you have your HD2 so what next, things to do"...?
Now I have been looking around but apart from the tweaks thread is there a repository of cabs or software to use with the HD2? eg has the net 3.5 to download etc... there were such for the X1 and the TyTN II... would make life a bit easier than tracking it all down via searches and threads... yes I know lazy of me for sure, but time is of the premium at the moment and I am sure the wife is going to let me know all about how she feels of my new toy... cheers all...
looks like they posted a new you tube vid last night. the 20th of june. not sure if yall seen this. funny thing is..seems you have to do a lengthy survey just to download it...which seemed shadey..but then they mention having to download HSPL first which,when clicked, sends you to this site to download..then..you install the android os..and supposedly able to reverse it if you want windows back on. they claim it's a beta but it's very stable. could somebody (whose more tech worthy then myself) check this out before i try it and make a complete ass of myself? thanks! being a new user, i can't post the you tube video address but just type in "install google android os onto tmobile htc hd2" in the you tube search bar and it should take you there.

it looks pretty elaborate to be a fake, but it does seem strange. all the comments on youtube were posted at the same time (says 3 hrs ago for me) I would hold out on this for sure. But if it is real then sweet.
i agree, it would be a MAJOR breakthrough.it would be even sweeter if someone could bypass us having to do that survey and just go str8 for the download! ....and thanx for posting the youtube link. ;-)

thanks TM for that thread.i'm feeling a little disappointed now...i'm normally a gentle bear who forgives those who have done wrong..but since me and everyone else has been waiting for something like this, i kind of want to rip that dudes arm off and beat him with it. if it was april 1st..so be it. but it's not.
Its a total fake, tried to comment on the video and its waiting approval looks like they are filtering out the negative comments calling it a fake.

VIDEO IS A F'IN FAKE , FAKE ,FAKE !!!!!! I tried it for a few hours boot loader mode not in bootloader. i'm kinda new to all this but have read alot and have 2.08 HSPL on phone . DOES NOT WORK. also went on tmobile .com and veryone that tried has not got it to work either !!!! . Just a waste of time

Hey guys, I've been following the Adam for months now and have only seen the video from Longbox for comics, I was wondering if anyone had posted a video of comics on the Adam that I haven't found yet. If not could someone post a video of it? I was hoping for something along the lines of Arkham Asylum or Ultimate Spider-man.

Cool man! These videos are some of the best and self-explanatory I've seen so far (even if they make the wait for Adam tougher and tougher).
I just registered here so "Hello World", I'm pretty excited to finally made up my mind and join this community. I've always read a lot about xda and admired you guys!
I hope to become involved in hacking and development as i love Android (beginner developer on it), I'm a computer engineering student and I work as a Java developer.
If I' allowed to on my very first post, I'd have a request/suggest for you.
Have you tried to sideload Worms for Android?
It's out for a while now and I love it (always loved Worms since the firsts versions when I had to run it from dos).
Although, nexus one screen is way to small for it! I wonder if it can run on my yet to ship Adam and how.
I've purchased it from the Android Market, it really worth the money.
It's wonderful to see lots of apps I mean to install on Adam already working pretty good on yours. Can't wait for mine to be shipped on 14th and start developing for it.

thanks! i try to show something new or interesting, hence why i didnt post an unboxing video (i did make one lol). but i have another cool video that i'm processing and putting together. i searched youtube and i havent found any related videos and i think this video was something everyone wanted to see first despite a recent press about it.

Are you willing to give a shot (literally) to Worms? If it runs good on a big screen you're gonna love it!
I've purchased it, not sure how to do it but maybe I can provide you the apk for testing purpose..
nice post inspiron, good to see a nice FREE app is available for comics on the android and looks great running on the Adam. I'd also like to see how well comic reader mobi, jjcomics, and MangaWhat or Mango fare on the Adam (I'll be able to find out around beginning of next month when my Adam is delivered!).

so here is may shameless Youtube promo thread. Yes I am a Newb, but have been flashing Roms for about a year now. I am starting this Youtube channel where I'm going to be doing brief reviews of the latest Roms. I'm going to try and make them as informative as possible and really want some feed back on how I can improve them. Not sure if this is considered promoting, but I'd like to get something going where people an see what they are getting on their HTC Evo before they flash it. I'm just starting out so forgive the quality of the video, but if all goes well, I plan to upgrade my cam and review apps as well as roms. Thanks AthenaLod for posting the link for those members that do not visit or make use of the XDA Portal. I personally visit the Portal at least one or more a day. ai saw the story there today and was like that is way cool. Kudos to The best that XDA TV has to offer azrienoch for writing this story. I will be waiting and watching for the second part of the story as it is way cool to see a story talking about the history of the mega development the HD2 has gotten.
The HD2 is truly the Excalibur of smartphone devices. I will hold onto mine even when the main board finally plays out. It will set in a self as a constant ommige to it being my first smartphone, getting me hooked on learning about hacking devices, and to the sher awesomeness of the HD2. Long live the HD2!
i love the hd2 so much that now i have mine, my brother has one, and my sister has one (got it today)
