Hi every one!
I would like to please you for help. I have installed according instructions WP7 Dynamics Western and PJMateam Rooms. They work perfect. But after 2-3-4 restarts W7 can't boot and I must reinstall the windows. Does somebody know a solution for this phenomena?
Thanks in advance!

Hi All,
I have a Tmobile PPC Phone Edition (Wallaby) it was upgraded to WM2003 and was working fine and suddenly stop responding after Activesync and I had to hard reset it to make it work again.
I tried to install the XDA developers edition without luck since the program couldnt detect the USB connection. I then backed up in my SD card the oroginal OS ROM (Wm2003) and reinstalled it but after I did so I lost my Phone capabilities (does not give phone settings or the signal bar appears on the screen) and what is worst I can not do Activesync since it appears connected but is not.
Can anyone please help me? Maybe guiding me on how can I put a good ROM on my SD card and install from there? Porbably the XDA Devleoper Edition?
Thanks to all and merry Xmas and a Great 2005.
May be you can try to search on this website rather than setting up a new topic. I have seen and gone through your situation before.
Hi all -
Newbie here, so I'll apologize upfront for any errors. I've been searching for the last 6 hours and have learned a lot, but still can't fix my problem.
I tried to upgrade the radio only, but after that there is no radio version, no phone or internet, system on MDA is VERY slow, and I can't connect to active sync. I can get bootloader up, but when I try to install the factory rom I downloaded from this site, it says "no device connected." I've tried to copy it to an sd card and install from there, but that doesn't work either.
Every suggestion seems to need activesync, which I don't have. Is there a way to download and copy something to an SD card and install rom from there?
Please help. I'm out of town and without a phone.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
I have same problem
No phone, everything slow, activesync not working...
How can i install everything again if it doesnt recognize PC???
Pls help
Hello everyone,
First of all I would like to thank you all for the great job you are doing here.
I have one problem and 2 questions:
I'm trying to install linux on Jasjar (Universal) and I'm following this tutorial:
http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/UniversalHowtoInstallLinux
After the log-in part, and after doing the following:
fdisk /dev/mmc/blk0/disc
I got the following error message:
Unable to open /dev/mmc/blk0/disc
And my questions are:
Is there any chance I can screw my JasJar while installing Linux?
What to avoid while installing Linux?
Thanks in advance to whomever can help.
Cheers,
Zak

HI.
Why create a new thread when there allready exist one?
Seems like Linux doesnt like your sd card. Try anothter one.
No, you wouldnt touch your wince installation. You are running linux from your sd card so it wouldnt affect wince.
I have never heard of any people bricking their device for running linux on it, but you never know. I have been using linux on it for one and a half year now, and never bricked it.
If you gonna reply to this post move over to the original thread, we dont need several linux on universal threads.

yeah theres already a thread for linux but anyways it will help if you try and reformat your SD/MMC card in the computer and before starting the installation procedure make sure that your device is reading your storage card then proceed.well i noticed that while creating the partitions nfilesystem on My sd card thru the deivceit tends to generate alot of heat from the battery id say that its not healthy for the battery in the long run, other than that theres no need to fear of you screwing up ur universal. hope it helped.
Hey guys!
Thanks for your time & answers & sorry to create a new one, thought the other one is old and no one will check it.
I'll post there, and hope some can see that there is a new post!!!!!

I formated the card as suggested in my PC and it was detected by WM5 as usual but I got the same error.
Then I tried to format it in my mobile and I got a message: "Unable to format" and this is where problems started.
The card CANNOT be formated anymore, I tried in windows, dos, WM5, but nothing ....

wp7 devices are like zunes, they use MTPZ instead of MTP or USB-MSD so you can only manage them through zune
