The applications kept closing automatically so i thought if i'd update it then the problem would be fixed, however, once updated the box starts up with a red rectangle as you can see in the picture below.
So I need the to find the firmware for it to get it back and running,
I looked at few threads on here but wasn't sure if the firmware was compatible
here's an image of the system info that i got before messing the box up
Also it has 1gb ram and 4gb storage
THe box doesn't have an sd card slot only two usb ports and i have no way to enter the recovery system, that I know of.
Here a picture of the board and the back
I tried connecting the box to the computer using usb-to-usb cable howver this only gives the box power doesn't see it. But i came across this guide where i need to press on two legs on the motherboard and it shows up on the pc. Here's the pictures of the guides:
So I managed to connect the box to the computer via USB using the method that I stated above using a pin and then and connecting the usb to the pc. Howver the device is coming up as Unknown in device manager not sure if it should?
Can someone tell me how I can assess recovery or adb?

I'm trying to map the pinout of the 3G port on the vega to find another usb port and possibly add sata connectivity for those of us not lucky enough to have the 3g daughter board installed.
can someone that owns a sim card port test for continuity between the points i'v marked
green (usb) and purple (sata) against the points i have marked black
on the attached image and post your results here.
or if you don't have a multimeter a good quality pic of the bottom side of the sim card board with any stickers that may be there removed so i can try to track the traces back to the pins

Please reupload your picture or upload it to another image server (there are plenty to choose from).
On another note:
I do have 3G version, but the tablet is not mine and it's still under warranty so I can't open it, sorry.
i think it's fixed now i had to make the image smaller
I recently tried connect an thumb drive via OTG cable on my H870DS, and each time a popup prompted me to selected the connection mode (see screenshot attached). Is anyone having similar?
I'm wondering what each option means, and how to change it if I made one a default. Thanks

1st option is to charge your phone, 2nd is to charge something connected to phone, 3rd and 4th are for file transfers, don't know what 5th is, as u stated u connected with u need to select file transfer and click just once on the bottom or click always depending on what ur needs are, u can always change it in developer options, hope this helps.
I have the same problem with my h870ds. That menu pops up but no OTG devices are ever recognised whatever option you choose. No good answer found for this.
Same issue, used to work fine. Now I cant get it to work at all.
Recently purchased both Tread+ and Peloton bike, and I was able to install APKs via adb on the bike. However, the bike will only run one app at a time. So I can watch netflix, but can't run the overlay of the peloton app. I even was able to install the custom navigation, but no luck on the split screen.
The bigger issue is not being able to sideload apks onto the tread+. The tread+ doesn't have a micro usb, but rather usb to usb. I have usb data cable but nothing happens when I try to connect my pc. Developer mode is enabled. I attempted to connect via wifi using adb commands as well. I am not very skilled at any of this, but I am willing to try. Ideas would be appreciated. I need to watch netflix when I run
Thanks!
I think the microusb port of the Tread+ may be on the back, where the display connects to the treadmill.

Confirmed - you can just pop the plastic top off the screen connector, and then pull the back off. There is a micro usb port back there.
I am trying to load CoreELEC on my TUREWELL T95 Max. I have been messing around with this box for a few weeks now and I managed to mess it up pretty good. Right now it is stuck the loading screen showing 4 multi-colored swirling dots. This isn't from a CoreELEC image. To be honest I am not sure which one caused this. I have tried a lot. To try to fix this, I have tried to burn the original firmware from the Turewell website but it never boots from the USB or SD. It just goes into this boot screen. I tried holding down the "reset" button in the headphone jack and power the device back on, but it never powers on. It does nothing. I have to unplug and re-plug for it to come back on to the boot screen. I have tried burning the images with Win32DiskImager and Rufus, as well as trying with a SD card and USB. I have attempted to use PhoenixSuite as well with a male to male USB cord but it just says that there is no device connected.
Does anyone have any advice that I can try to get this box working in some capacity? Right now I dont care if it is the original firmware or custom. Thank you so much for your help!
-Josh
***EDIT***
I have attached a screenshot of the boot screen I am seeing for clarity.

Hi, do you get to fix that issue? My box has the same problem...
Hello, I'm trying to back up ROM from a head unit that uses the ac8227l chipset that with Android OS 9 (seems to use Universal Android). The brand on the market is EMBASSY, I use the SP Flash Tool v5.2112.00.000 software which runs on Windows 10.
The device is not detected/read by the spflash tool if it is only connected by a USB cable, and it is only read or detected if it is supplied with DC current
I have carried out all the steps and procedures for backing up ROM from what I know, starting from doing a memory test to get a memory map, downloading ROM_BOOT1 with the readback process (successful) but during the ROM_USER readback process I always stop and fail at no more than 8% progress (Approximately 1.2 GB) even though the USER ROM size that was read during the memory test was around 14 GB.
please help with instructions if anyone knows how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Problem is solved, it turns out that the backup ROM must be cut into several parts.
