Hello, I'm trying to back up ROM from a head unit that uses the ac8227l chipset that with Android OS 9 (seems to use Universal Android). The brand on the market is EMBASSY, I use the SP Flash Tool v5.2112.00.000 software which runs on Windows 10.
The device is not detected/read by the spflash tool if it is only connected by a USB cable, and it is only read or detected if it is supplied with DC current
I have carried out all the steps and procedures for backing up ROM from what I know, starting from doing a memory test to get a memory map, downloading ROM_BOOT1 with the readback process (successful) but during the ROM_USER readback process I always stop and fail at no more than 8% progress (Approximately 1.2 GB) even though the USER ROM size that was read during the memory test was around 14 GB.
please help with instructions if anyone knows how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Problem is solved, it turns out that the backup ROM must be cut into several parts.

Hello,
I was able to brick my DZ09 watch when trying to upload a new firmware. I tried to fix it with several different firmware downloaded freely from the Internet. But every attempt has always ended with a 5095 error. Can you please help with their repair? These are watches with the MT6260A chip. I could not find any functional firmware anywhere on the internet and I'm afraid that the investment in the watch is already lost. The original firmware of the watch was not stored anywhere.
I opened this watch:

Motherboard: MX9-V7.0
I use full test:
All OK, NAND not present.
Before it I use Total Format in FlashTool v5.1516.00.00. Format is done, screen:
I still cant flash ANY rom downloaded from here.
I bought other DZ09, but I found the MT6260DA chip here. Also, the memory is half and even the firmware of these watches, unfortunately in my old can not be uploaded.
Thank you in advance for any help.
You solved this problem? I have same smartwatch and bricked -(. Help me please.
First, I want to say thank you to a wonderful site.
I bricked my XTRONS PSD60UNK head unit over the weekend while trying to learn about rooting etc, so this site is a life saver. I thought I had properly saved the bin from the unit prior to doing anything as the name of the file that was copied to my SD card called "ts8227Lfactory.bin" but it is only a 4kb file.
I found a thread with a older 8227L bin and another showing a video on how to enable the unit to discover the file from the USB drive on boot up and able to restore it tonight.
Here is the radio showing the bin/firmware it uses:

}
It appears to be running on Android 10, although there are references to version 8.1 on some files...
I reached out to XTRONS Monday morning to see if I can obtain the correct firmware/binary (see pic) but they are slow to respond, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here might be able to provide it or a link to it in the meantime.
Thank you in advance.
Where did u get thus Android 10 bin file from and how to upgrade from sdcard?

I opened the stereo and my board looks a lot different from the other boards that I see on the forums. there are no contacts for the VOL UP and ...

Hi everyone,
My head unit started to not go into sleep mode anymore and would take 5 to 15 mins or even more to boot up. I tried all options in the engineering test mode setting. Sometimes it would freeze too.
I've tried doing a factory reset several times as well as re-flashing the firmware (tried two different) ones. I was told not to use the "computer paint brush" firmware, which I do not know what it means.
Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Is unit an MTCD type unit, post Android system information including MCU version

I believe it is MTCD.
It booted up this morning, but froze. Now it is stuck on the Android screen.
I put in the USB flash zip file on a stick connected to the USB port, but it does nothing. I think for these radios, you have to get it to boot up before it works.
