After several hours of trial and error I finally figured out my problems.
Thanks anyway.

Phone not connecting to network after rooting

So I attempted to root my phone earlier today following some instructions found on this forum. It seemed to go well, and I successfully installed and used a tethering app. (makes the phone soooo much better)
Phone was normal until a few hours ago. A ton of error popups showed up, and now my phone doesn't connect to the phone network. I get errors like
process com.google.android.apps.maps has stopped unexpectedly
Click to collapse
and
the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly.

So I'm pretty sure the root messed stuff up, but I'm pretty new to all of this, and I don't know what to do. I'm also leaving town for 10 weeks tomorrow morning, so I would really like to fix this tonight... :/
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: Can I bring my phone into the Sprint store tomorrow and have them reset it?

You can bring it to Sprint and have them reset it. They likely will update you to the 2.1 though and you will lose all ability to root for now. I can't help with the errors though cause I have never had that problem come up.
Take it to the Sprint store and you will never have root again.
First step would be to reboot your phone. Second step would be to recreate the error. Third step would be to diagnose what is causing force closes by pasting the text from logcat from where the error occurred.
When my phone was stock I had issues with some apps causing force closes on core apks. You may just need to uninstall whatever apps are conflicting with each other and causing the crash.
Since you rooted using instructions here, you did a nandroid backup right after root and before installing anything else...right?? Then just restore the original nanddroid and yuo shoudl be good. Then you can try reinstalling programs 1 at a time til you get errors.

Google Sign-in error...

Okay, I searched first, but don't see anything in Vibrant forums that I can use to help with this. It may be a server issue on Google's end but I thought maybe people smarter than I may have some info. Please accept apologies in advance if I didn't find something that would help before posting.
I flashed the leaked samsung firmware over the weekend (not sure if it's at all related, just info...)
Today I've been getting this error all day.
Google sign-in
You entered the wrong password or your account has changed. Please re-enter your password.
Nothing has changed, google sign in works online, just not on my vibrant.
Thanks in advance for any useful info.
EDIT***
Never mind, I figured it out I believe. Apparently google had detected unusual activity on my account and needed some verification from me. I'll have to research what kind of "suspicious activity" google detected. Thanks anyways. I apologize, do not know how to delete this thread.
Mod delete???
I got this too... may be don't delete the thread yet
Yesterday morning i faced with the same problem..
I am not even rooted...
Only unusual thing that i did yesterday was to remove the battery and put it back on..
I was able to sign in after couple of attempts though..
Hi.
I am trying for a few days now but I have not been able to log in. Please guide me on how to solve this annoying issue. Thanks.
I have the same problem !!!!
I had this problem so I rebooted into recovery and wiped cache data. This fixed for me

[Q] Google Apps not working, even after reinstalling and restoring.

So I rooted my Intercept yesterday, and I read atleast 10 threads on items safe for removal. However AFTER deleting google talk I stumbled across a forum post informing me I was screwed. Gmail and the Market will not work now. I tried reinstalling google apps 3 times, and also hard reseting my phone atleast 5 times to no avail. I am not sure what to do now. What can I do to fix this? Would flashing it with the stock image work? I am not opposed to flashing it with something custom, I just dont know if that would work seeing as though a hard reset wouldnt work. I am at a loss. I have spent countless hours searching, and everyone else seemed to fix their problem but I was unable to. Maybe I need samsung intercept vm apps dump from someone to restore ALL original apps in case I deleted something else as well? I know....my noob mistake for being cocky and not dooing a backup myself. Please help me.

Android Market Error on every application

Im experiencing an error on every application I try to install or update. Error reads "Download was unsuccessful, please try again"
I'm hoping the store is down and everyone is having this problem...if its just me any suggestions. Its been doing this for a couple hours so I flashed to 1.26, updated to 1.57 and than updated to 1.83.
I know I'm rooted as I can use Root Explorer.

the last time that happened to me, i was out of space internal memory, so nothing would install. i clean up all my caches and remove unneeded apps and stuff worked again. not sure if that is your problem.

I tried this too, but didn't work either..

I had that happen on my dell venue. The fix is trivial.
Plug your phone into your usb cable, and set it to mass storage
then install. It will work fine.
It fixes itself eventually (in my case), the usb is fine for the interim

Well thanks for suggestion..didn't work for me either. This is crazy as this is a fresh install...I just flashed and updated...
Just a heads up...I was panicking because this lasted for about 6 hours and than all of the sudden just as I was going to go to sleep, it started working again. I believe it was something on the server side, nothing I did....needless to say I stayed up late to get as many of the apps I needed as I was worried about when my luck might run out...
I flash to 1.5.7 and update to 1.8.3 yesterday, then I open Market, it said like that 'there's a error, please try later'. I just reboot my atrix, and open WIFI, try Market, it's ok now.
PS: the apps downloaded from MarKet is here: /cache/download**.apk

Cyanogenmod 11 has problems with Whatsapp

I've just downloaded whatsapp on my new cm 11 (nitghly) and this is the message it shows me
"You recently connected. Please wait 374661 hours 20 minutes before trying again."
How can I fix this?
I'm not going to wait 42 years.
Hmm.. Maybe try installing whatsapp+ but first uninstall what'sapp

Edit- I menaged to install the file, but I encounter the same problem...
What does it say when trying to install apk?
I menaged to install whatsapp+ but there is the same problem.
Are you sure your date and time is correct?
I had exactly the same problem on my first CM11 installation, plus some additional problems, I didn't managed to solve them without reinstalling CM11 after cleaning all cache (dalvik, cache and co...)
