I've just downloaded whatsapp on my new cm 11 (nitghly) and this is the message it shows me
"You recently connected. Please wait 374661 hours 20 minutes before trying again."
How can I fix this?
I'm not going to wait 42 years.
Hmm.. Maybe try installing whatsapp+ but first uninstall what'sapp

Edit- I menaged to install the file, but I encounter the same problem...
What does it say when trying to install apk?
I menaged to install whatsapp+ but there is the same problem.
Are you sure your date and time is correct?
I had exactly the same problem on my first CM11 installation, plus some additional problems, I didn't managed to solve them without reinstalling CM11 after cleaning all cache (dalvik, cache and co...)

Hi guys,
The last update today is so bad, I can not open or use viber anymore, when I open it, it forces stop and reopens several seconds after that, it happens automatically again and again and make me have to disable viber on my device.
Is there anyone get the same issue like me?? So bad lucky today, if I know that I would never update viber today
Have you tried, cleaning app cache + data?
Uninstalling it and rebooting?
Reinstalling it?

yah, I tried but it not worked, I wanna say the isue just appears when you update the lastest version on GG Play (version 2.3.3.319). Many users complain about this problem on GG Play.
I have to uninstall the lastest version and the re-install the older version (2.3.1.59) by apk file. Fortunately, it works
Hope Viber team could fix this issue in the lastest version and we could update it on GG Play
Same problem with my Sony Xperia S. I´ve reinstalled version 2.3.1.59.
Hi guys,
yet installed CM10.1 ( by Quarx ) 11th may build and i'm getting a strange issue on whatsapp:
after the installation, at the first start and after the alert on the no support for cooked roms, i'm getting a message like: "tablets are not yet supported".
Reading through the related forum i've seen that other than me had this problem and someone has resolved just reinstalling the application.
This solution isn't functioning for me, i've got installed the 22 May playstore version of whatsapp.
Any solution?
Try reboot or uninstall and reinstall or clear play store and play services cache.

Thank you!!
welcome to the whatsapp hell,
someone getting this error and solved it?
Steps I've done until now
1. reinstalled whatsapp from backup
2. uninstalled completely and try to reinstall from play store
3. clear cache of play services, play store, whatsapp
but nothing works. btw I can install any other app from playstore. Maybe an art issue again? Someone updated wa and is on dalvik runtime and can confirm this thought?
thx

I have the almost the same issue. There's two ROMs in my phone, KitKat stock and CM11 snapshot 9. In KK the app was updated as usual, but in CM i got the invalid package error. Then tragedy strikes by my own hand: i made a backup from KK using Titanium Backup, rebooted to CM, UNISTALLED WhatsApp and tried to restore the backup. Nope, same error. Now I have CM and no WA.
Does anyone have the version prior to 2.238.11? please?
EDIT: Nevermind, I found the issue. This version doesn't works with ART. Switching CM to Dalvik allowed me to install the app and restoring everything using TiBkp.
i have the same problem. I tried to delete also Whatsapp and replace it with the new from the website, but it isn't installing the package.
I am on CM11 with ART
Hi Community,
maybe somebody can help me with my problem
What happend:
I had a LG G2 (D802) with CM11M12 installed on it. Also Tasker and Taskwatch were installed. I decided to upgrade to the first CM12 official nightly. I installed it over TWRP without a full wipe (only Cache and Dalvik). Something with the Play Store didn't work. I wanted to install an app (I don't know anymore which it was) but it didn't install cause of error 505. I thought it was because I flashed it over CM11.
So this time I made a full wipe, pushed CM12 and GApps (KK) through ADB into my storage and installed it clean. It didn't start. There was an error at the homescreen. Setup Wizard or something like that crashed every second.
I flashed TWRP 2.8.3.0 and tried it again. Same result.
I made a full wipe again. Pushed CM11M12, CM12 and GApps through ADB and installed CM11M12. The phone booted. I installed CM12 and GApps. Now it worked. Everything is just fine, BUT I can't install Tasker and Taskwatch. If I install Tasker and try to install Taskwatch, then I get the 505 error. When I uninstall Tasker I can install Taskwatch, but can't install Tasker anymore. I uninstalled Tasker via ADB. Same result.
Edit 01/10/2015: I did a full wipe (cache, data, dalvik, internal storage) and format data. I installed todays CM12 and LP GApps. This time it booted and worked without problems with setup wizard. Problem with error 505 remains.
Question:
What can I do to install both apps and not only one of them?
Thank you in advance.
Well I'm on the latest CM12 nightly +LP gapps and I get error 504 when installing certain programs like facebook, viber but not all of them give me this error. On some I get it on the first try and then it works. I deleted playstore cache and all the crap I could find over web but nothing helped. Wiped/factory reset still nothing.

Seems like another problem. 505 is related to a permission error. 504 is bad gateway, but I don' know the answer for your problem. Maybe you could try to install another GApps Version. Can you install those apps through Amazon App Store or via an apk file? Because I can't do that, the permession is still present. And I can install both application, but not together.
In fact I don't even know whose fault it is (error 505), could be one of these apps or Cyanogenmod or Google. As far as the stock 5.0 or a Cyanogenmod Snapshot will come out, I will try to install both apps again or has anyone a better solution?
Still the same problem
Thought it would maybe work with the newest Nightly (20150207), but I was wrong. Wiped everything, installed with gapps. Can install Tasker but not Pebble TaskWatch. Or Taskwatch without Tasker (which makes no sense).
Can you solve it? I have the same problem
Hello everyone!
I have a non-rooted GT-i9505 running stock Android 5.0.1 and the new Viber v. 5.5.1.556 keeps constantly crashing after the update to that version.
I tried clearing it's cache and restarting the phone. It still keeps crashing.
I wrote Viber letting them know about it, but I was just wondering if anyone is having the same issue and has any idea what to do.
Thank you!

Hi , classic20
You can tray successively :
Wipe cache apk you have done it
Wipe all data apk ( all update ) check if it works
Uninstall apk
After then reinstall old version & see if this dont crashs
( I suggest to use aptoide store to have viber 2.0 )
Reboot phone
Update carefuly to viber5.5.1.556
Good luck !

Thank you, but it's resolved now.
I let Viber know about this and they respnded fairly quickly. They said a large number of others users have been complaining about that particular version of the app.
I ended up uninstalling it and using an older version until they updated it.
Thanks for your response!
