I've been having this issue for a week now. At first, it got disconnected from my wifi router. Then I tried to go to the wi-fi settings only to find that the turn off/on has been greyed out. Thinking it is a software bug and that the issue can be solved by a mere factory reset, I did a factory reset only to find that I would be stuck on this " Turning Wi-Fi on..". With that I cannot continue the setup. After which I downloaded the Nexus 7 2013 jellybean factory image (the original stock rom) then flashed it, but still the issue was not solved. By the way I purchased this tabled way back December of 2013 and I have not rooted this device. Hope someone can help me or can give me an advise on how to fix this tablet. Honestly, this is a very good tablet.
here's a screen shot ( i can do a screen shot)

Hi There,
Shortly after updating my Nexus 4 to 4.2.2 OTA today the screen went blank and I've been unable to get it to function correctly again.
The phone is still showing some signs of life, I am getting notification LEDs and I am unable to unlock the phone with facial recognition even though the screen remains blank - I can tell from the vibration and the LED stopping that it has unlocked. Pressing the power button to lock it starts the notification LED again.
I have tried a hard boot (Volume Down + Power) and the screen did come on to display the google logo followed by the X but as soon as they had been shown it returned to a blank screen.
Does anybody have any ideas of what this could be or how to solve it or should I contact Google in regards to this issue?
Thanks in advance for any help
seems like the OTA update has corrupted somewhere. You should reboot into bootloader and use fastboot to flash the stock 4.2.2
Is there anything else worth trying before doing that? I wouldn't have a clue where to start as this is my first android device
Ok so I got it working but did lose all my data. If anyone else comes across this issue I had to boot into recovery mode and do a full wipe/factory reset. The first time i did this the phone started up with no problems but during configuration when I entered my Google account the blank screen strangely returned so I again did a full wipe in recovery mode, skipped the 'set-up google account' step and then entered it manually later in settings once the device had started up.
No idea what caused this and if its a bug in 4.2.2 or an issue with some settings in my google account that are being backed up and restored to the phone but either way I had no problems until 4.2.2 update installed and the issue occuring even after first data wipe rules out any third party apps being the cause.
I had a similar problem after updaing that the screen stay blank and it wo'nt unlock
As soon as i disable the bluetooth the problem solved.
It's happened when i paired it with my pc
Flashed the factory image to my nexus 7. The tablet will not go past the selectect wifi screen. It just says "Turning Wifi On...." forever... This is my dads tablet and i need help reflashing 5.0 or 4.4. Thing is i cannot get it to come up on adb devices anymore :/
I had an issue today where I couldn't get the GPS to turn on so I rebooted the phone and it was getting stuck at the splash screen. I booted into recovery and did a factory reset/cleared cache. Now when it boots into the OS the icons for the battery, radio, and occasionally clock show. The setup menu title bar shows up but nothing else (no option to even select language, just Samsung SetupWizard shows up and then it disappears). I can get the drop down for the radios but I don't have a wifi connection here and the cell signal is weak where I work. I should also note my phone is not nor ever has been rooted, so I'm not sure where to go from here. Is there anyway to root it without access into the OS on the phone? I did notice my battery was swollen so I've ordered a replacement, could that be the problem?
Followup
I stopped by the sprint store to see if they could let me try a different battery to see if there was a chance that could be the problem. The technician said it looked like software corruption, so decided to try restoring the stock rom. I grabbed the latest copy and odin and it seems to have resolved my problem. Now all I have to do is replace my battery and I should hopefully be fine.
Hi guys,
I am having an issue with my p10 lite
There are some times where wifi despite being on it stops working, and only rebooting fixes the problem.
It happens with more than one wifi network.
wifi stops working and my p10 is unable to search for any network. Before last o/s update only restart would fix the problem, now i have to turn wifi off and on again, but still...
It seems when wifi on and when I do not touch long time phone
I think if I do not touch 1-2 hour, wifi goes off and can't open it, when ı try to open it, it goes settings does not respond anything.
If anyone has a clue to fix this please advise...
Thank you!

Hi,
I just solved the same issue today.
Two solutions
1. Leave wifi always on : setup, wifi, configure, wifi Always on. Drains battery a lot.
2. Reinstall update with full update package. I had the problem after installing the b182 package and solved this way...
Hi everybody!
After several not lucky rooting attemps, Nook Glowlight 3 starts to freeze/lag heavily whenever Wi-Fi is switched on. Using default ROM, it just lags from the very begining - i.e. "get started" screen and than freezes at "turning on Wi-Fi screen". With custom TWRP-installed ROM, system works fine and smooth up until I switch-on Wi-Fi in settings. And then it freezes, with only harware reboot working, but freezes again now just during reboot. TWRP factory reset helps up until i switch-on Wi-Fi in settings again...
Is there a way to double-check in adb/fastboot that Wi-Fi module is indeed the reason for the problems and how can I restore it to normal state? ie radio image or smth else
Thank you for any help and ideas.
See logcat attached. Btw, logcat command also freezes after i switch-on Wi-Fi in settings
