When Im trying to flash this ROM it aborts the installation
it said error (path) then Status 7
Ive read that this is just some error even though the ROM is compatible
so I deleted the assert(package_extract_file("boot.img", "/tmp/boot.img"),
write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img", "bootimg"),
delete("/tmp/boot.img"))

said. after flashing the ROM I restarted the phone but bricked it
IDK why I cant Flash this ROM even though it's compatible

where do you get this error? what exactly are you trying to achieve?
rom update same error % 8 and this error gold card same hars spl same orginal rom sama all time same error
radio rom update error is %100 and error not succesfully

I had the same problem. I was trying to restore my phone to original firmware, due to issues with custom firmwares. I had managed to extract the NBH from the installer provided by my carrier, and used CustomRUU to flash the phone, but the phone was not booting.
I then flashed one of the EnergyROM builds onto my phone.
After that I could not get the original firmware onto the phone, error 290 at 9%.
I booted my phone into the bootloader (red/blue/green), and used HSPL2 to set SPL to 1.42.HSPL. I could then flash the original firmware.
My phone is now working fine, as best I can tell.

I tried to install CM11 for my AT&T D800 since I don't want lollipop no more, but since then I'm a bit stuck.
I flashed the KK Bootloader and Modem, then flashed CM11 and brought back an error:
assert failed: run_program("/tmp/loki.sh")
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/cm11'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/cm11.zip'
Anyone know a fix for this? I really want Cyanogenmod, and there is no other KitKat ROM that interests me.
Hello, I have a problem with my S4, I installed TWRP 2.8.7 and then tried to install the ROM extremely tweaked (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9506-develop/rom-t3014552) but while installing it keeps failing saying "E: error executing updater binary in zip '\external_sd\I9506XXUDOD3.zip". I tried to install another rom but the keyboard stops working, so I'm downloading stock rom now (9 hours to download) but now I am stuck, I don't know which kernel to use, which recovery to use and if there's a good deoxeded rom to use. Stock rom was lollipop 5.0.1 at I9506XXUDOD6 (Greek). Any help? Thanks!
When trying to flash a rom that is not a CM rom i get error message ,"Error executing updater binary in zip". even when rom is for ATT S4 variant. Same happens when trying to flash a 9505 ROM , like i used to do in the pass and then flash ATT kernel.
If you are sure the ROM is for your phone, you can try editing the updater script to include your phone's model.

I have trying to flash to stock rom then install firmware update after that install the custom rom but this still happen, the only successfull flash custom rom is using Nusantara Os Mi439 type, but yeah there are many bugs. Thats why I need to flash other custom rom.
