Hi all,
I have D802 International 16GB device and D802TR V20C stock rom installed.
In order to install Germany or Open Europe V20H firmware;
* I installed LG drivers : LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN313AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.13.2
* I downloaded V20H Kdz file and Lg Flash Tool 2014
* Switch to download mode
Everytime I stack on %2 of process and fail. I tried different combinations with different KDZ file but result is same.
I did not understand what is the problem. (win7 64 Enterprice)
Also I tried on another computer but result is same. (win7 x86 Ultimate)
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks.
You want get rid of root? Or why are you trying to flash stock if you are on stock?

Dude, try looking for methods on how to do a hard-reset on your device. That would be the first thing you should be looking for.
Sent from my LG-E425g using XDA Free mobile app
I deeply searched into google / XDA and Turkey forums and found an information : You can not install any kind of stock rom which is different than original onto 311K models.
Finally I found a way that is work
I tried TOT method but does not work (different model error) and then I decide to try a different way that never tried before
* I have V20C Turkey Stock rom. (laggy and buggy )
* Rooted and installed TWRP
* Download CloudyFlex custom rom. Opened the zip file and deleted all things under "system"
* I extracted Germany 20H KDZ file (system.img) and copied all things into system folder into CouldyFlex zip file.
* Now I have cloudyflex.zip which includes system folder from V20H (Germany Open firmware 16GB)
* Installed zip file from TWRP. Now my device's LG D802. (was D802TR)
* I use the TOT method and installed V10A firmware (tellcon)
* Then I tried Lg Flash Tool 2014 way - finally it is OK. Now I have stock rom V20H Germany Open.
I had the same issue after flashing Cloudyg2 3.1. When I tried to go back to stock flash tool stopped at %2 and no flashing was possible. Thanks God I had TWRP. My solution was to flash the flashable zip stock rom I downloaded from the below link. After installation I was able to use KDZ method again with no error.

Hello people. I have to ask one question about my LG L5 E610.
My L5 E610 has stock 4.1.2 baseband 20G, most updated to date, I updated via KDZ updater.
I already rooted and installed custom ROM on three differents phones, ZTE and Samsung, never had any problems, so I can say that I have some experiences, but in case of samsung, for use warranty, is needed to install everything stock and reset flash counter, so I wonder if my E610 will be needed the same procedures ?
I'm thinking of installing CM10.2 on my LG L5 E610, I believe one day I will do this, but then I need to know how to install back EVERYTHING STOCK IN CASE OF WARRANTY, but never found tutorial about it, never heard if LG has flash counter, but I bet doesn't have.
anyone can tell me if it's possible or explain me how to install stock ROM, stock Recovery and stock Kernel after customizate everything on E610 ?
Never heard about flash counter.
For returning all to stock (as far as i know) you must have 2 kdz
1: v10d_downgrade , made by someone in 4pda, search it over internet. Its special because it wipes out everything, others kdz just flash up system and that's it, if you already have a bootloop or have a custom rom that may be not compatible with stock, normal kdz wont boot at all.
2: your OFFICIAL stock kdz for your VERSION (e610/e612/e612g/f, etc) get it from here
In case you want to return to stock, boot in download mode (hold vol - / + while connecting usb cable until vibrate) and flash it up. Flash v10d... let it boot (it'll be in russian lol) and then flash your normal kdz (by booting in download mode again)
Then, you can try anything you want (pls, don't mess with swap partition, 2 phones are almost hard-bricked while playing with that and it couldn't flash kdz either!)
Good Luck!
just use the kdz updater

it's thing from Samsung, if users flash the custom rom, the phone will show how much custom ROM was flashed, it can be consulted in warranty that the phone has already flashed and the warranty will be voided. but there does exist methods to do reset flash counter, but I guess only Samsung phones do have it.
but what happens if I have everything custom and then flash the normal KDZ like 20g baseband ? Will be bricked ? and can be unbricked ?
the flash counter can be removed by triangle

my phone has root, free bootloader and with custom ROM and CWM.
KDZ updater won't work on Windows 8.1, installed msxml and put compatibility/administrator and no luck.
is there another way to flash downgrade v10 ?

Here's my situation.
I have a D802.
I flashed the D802T kdz file (D802T20D.kdz) using LGFlashTool which is the LTE version of my Phone in Australia. Worked perfectly to my surprise.
Found out that kdz file was NOT for my phones model.
Now I want to flash the CORRECT firmware for my device (D80220C.kdz) which is for D802, but can't seem to get past 2%.
I don't understand, I did this method last week and now it's not working..
Any help possible? Is it because I am technically downgrading my firmware?
NOTE: Drivers are working, COM port is detected, Phone can communicate with PC in Download Mode.
"MODEL DLL Event : (100, 51)" and "Step : TYPE_WPARAM_UPGRADE_ERROR" seem very suspicious.

Thank you but that won't work. .TOT files don't exist for the D802 variant (as far as I know).
I need someone to confirm something for me.
Is it possible to Flash a D802T firmware onto a D802 device (if both reside in Australia)?. Because that's what I have seemed to have done with no errors, yet I'm finding forum posts stating that if you do flash the D802T onto an Australian D802 device you'll get problems.
Hi guys,
I've got a LG G2 (d802) and recently i've flashed on it the latest cyanogen12. But now the problem is that i can't flash any other ROM! I've tried to flash the CloudyG3 2.0 but after the reboot it stucks on the logo for a minute and then enters again in the recovery. The only ROM that i can flash, and fully working, is Resurrection Remix (modified cyanogen12)!
Please help I want to get back to CluodyG3 or Lg G2's stock rom!
Thanks

CloudyG3 = http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-cloudyg3-1-0-t2917467
CloudyG2 = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783192
Which one are you trying to flash exactly? CloudyG3 is only compatible with D855 F400S/L/K, D802 is NOT supported.
If you're trying to install CloudyG2 the reason you're getting into a bootloop is because when you updated to Lollipop, a few of your partitions changed as well, so you need to revert your partitions back to KK partitions before flashing a KK based ROM.
There are 2 options you have available:
Option 1: (recommended)
- Visit http://www.lg-firmware-rom.com, enter your IMEI and download the firmware file it gives you.
- Follow the LGG2 - Return to Stock Guide.
- You will be back on Stock KK firmware and be completely unrooted. You will need to root and install a custom recovery, then install CloudyG2 if you wish.
Option 2:
Luckily you have a D802 and somboons has created a flashable .zip which you can flash via TWRP and get your KK partition layout back. - D802 ONLY!
How to restore KK partitions/flash other ROM (credits to @somboons) - #2
- Download this flashable zip: Download
- Reboot to recovery and flash LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip
- Flash other G2 stock based ROM (in your case CloudyG2)
- Reboot

I have not yet tested this KK partition zip so I advise you to use the Return to Stock method.
Hello Guys,
I was wondering if you can help me out clarifing a few things about flashing roms in .kdz format.
So i was on Cloudy 2.2 and had a lot of issues and then i decided to revert to stock. I followed the hyelton thread and did the TOT method. Now i have the phone on 4.2.2 working fine. At this moment i want to upgrade to 4.4.2 or 5.0 but when i check for updates i get the information that i'm on the latest SO. So my questions are:
1. How can i force update to 4.2.2 or even 5.0 without rooting? I tried to find the TOT file of a lolipop rom to flash via tool but can't find any.
2. I tryed to flash a .kdz lolipop rom via LG Tool (i extracted the dll and DZ) but i get an previousLoad error... so any suggestions?
3. The last case i could go back on rooting and put a custom recovery and then put the lolipop, but to achieve this, from 4.2.2 wich steps should i follow?
I'm asking this here because i saw multiple threads and discussions but can't get the right ways to do what i want.
Thank you very much.
Cheers
Note: The version is d802, portugal.
Well guys, after much nerves and errors.. here are my conclusions
1. If you want to use Lg Flash tool and flash a stock rom with .kdz extension, you need to put the rom file in the tool folder then run the tool with admin prev. Then select the file and press cse flash. You'll get an error on connecting to servers probably (i got one). Ignore it, but DON'T click on nothing.. the process is still runing, so even with error, just wait... you'll see your phone doing some progress. After a while it will reboot and VOILA
2. About TOT file, i just went with the kdz method.
3. To get the right KDZ file use thiss repo: http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/
then you can put your imei and get the rom or just find a rom that fits you.
4. To get the lattest Lg Tool go here: http://lgflashtool.com/
Notes:
. Keep in mind that the .kdz files are big (>1,6gb) so make sure the download is not interupted, use a download manager or firefox. If its corrupted you'll have problems.
. All the files and sites are not mine, i'm just mentioning them.
Now running stock lolipop with no prob.
Cheers
