Hi guys,
I've got a LG G2 (d802) and recently i've flashed on it the latest cyanogen12. But now the problem is that i can't flash any other ROM! I've tried to flash the CloudyG3 2.0 but after the reboot it stucks on the logo for a minute and then enters again in the recovery. The only ROM that i can flash, and fully working, is Resurrection Remix (modified cyanogen12)!
Please help I want to get back to CluodyG3 or Lg G2's stock rom!
Thanks

Which one are you trying to flash exactly? CloudyG3 is only compatible with D855 F400S/L/K, D802 is NOT supported.
If you're trying to install CloudyG2 the reason you're getting into a bootloop is because when you updated to Lollipop, a few of your partitions changed as well, so you need to revert your partitions back to KK partitions before flashing a KK based ROM.
There are 2 options you have available:
Option 1: (recommended)
- Visit http://www.lg-firmware-rom.com, enter your IMEI and download the firmware file it gives you.
- Follow the LGG2 - Return to Stock Guide.
- You will be back on Stock KK firmware and be completely unrooted. You will need to root and install a custom recovery, then install CloudyG2 if you wish.
Option 2:
Luckily you have a D802 and somboons has created a flashable .zip which you can flash via TWRP and get your KK partition layout back. - D802 ONLY!
How to restore KK partitions/flash other ROM (credits to @somboons) - #2
- Download this flashable zip: Download
- Reboot to recovery and flash LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip
- Flash other G2 stock based ROM (in your case CloudyG2)
- Reboot

I have not yet tested this KK partition zip so I advise you to use the Return to Stock method.

Well did you keep ANY KIND FORM OF BACK UP TO RESTORE BEFORE GOING TO LOLLIPOP?
If not,
1. Returning to stock will bring you back to Stock KitKat ROM.
2. Back up your data and pictures to the cloud or Hard Drive.
3. Download your .kdz file using your IMEI from www.lg-firmware-rom.com
4. Like @raulx222 said, Return to Stock Firmware.
5. CREATE A NANDROID BACKUP.
6. Install your desired custom KitKat ROM.
Give more info please. When you flashed lollipop, which ROM you flashed? you flashed other files too?
Anyway, flashing the stock firmware is almost any time a way to solve the issues ..You could backup your files from TWRP via MTP and then flash the stock firmware. You also can backup your files with TWRP using a usb flash stick and a OTG cable.
restore to kitkat
Hello just flash this attached file in recovery. After that flash jb bootloader for d802 and baseband and recovery you use for roms you use. Everything will work
Btw the zip contains stock kk 20H partitions you need to restore. Simplerom to work on lollipop modify this partiton on your device to be as f320 model in some areas to get lollipop booting

you were on kit kat and flashed a stock based LP rom ? not sure but didnt you have to be on stock LP then flash cloudy.
maybe flash a KDZ theres flasjable ones as zip for LP.
what i done from kitkat is
root/autorec. update twrp 2.8.7.3/bootstacks 5.02. bumped KK. you know you must reboot recovery into recovery again from recovery to take effect. during update of twrp and bootsacks then flash LP KDZ stock. then just wipe and flash cloudy.
Cheers managed to flash cloudy g2.2 over it,
Gps is terrible though
Hello, today I decided to install Google Edition 1.4 rom, just after flashing I bricked my G2, and my PC detected a lot of partitions. I fixed that, flashed stock KDZ with LG Flash Tool, started again. And its the same result. Then after installing stock rom, I tried to install another Lollipop rom (Cloudy G2 3.3) and again PC detected only a lot of partitions.
Sorry for pure English.

what twrp version you are using.?
did you root your phone? did you use auro rec for KK?
did you installed this bootstacks for your varian
5.02 xxxx bumped KK bootstacks.
did you reboot into recovery flashing bootstacks to take effect.?

Prerequisites: D802, 32 GB, Stock 4.4.2. I believe "Int" version (original motherboard was replaced)
I tried to upgrade stock 4.4.2 with CM13 and failed with the brick result (LG logo for a couple of seconds and the black screen then).
Now the recovery mode is available (TWRP 3.0.2 bump blastagator) but there is no android image loaded except CM 13.0 snapshot 20160418 which causes the brick state.
The questions are following:
What was wrong?
What proper android image can be used to unbrick?
How to load image on the phone?
Since I found Mount->USB-OTG checkbox in the TWRP, then I hope the OTG cable can be used to load image from USB flash drive. Unfortunately I can check it now.
Will be appreciate for the help.
KK bootloader, that's the reason. If you want to have stock bootstack you need to update to 5.0.2 stock, root and then flash TWRP and CM13. Everything'll work fine.

Thanks edi.
Do I need to replace TWRP bootloader with another one (I guess stock) and then update to 5.0.2 or I can start updating 5.0.2 with TWRP?
If you want to stay with stock bootstack:
You need to flash 5.0.2 KDZ file with download mode.
If you want to do it fast:
You need to flash hybrid bootstack.
Thanks a lot.
Fixed.
