Well did you keep ANY KIND FORM OF BACK UP TO RESTORE BEFORE GOING TO LOLLIPOP?
If not,
1. Returning to stock will bring you back to Stock KitKat ROM.
2. Back up your data and pictures to the cloud or Hard Drive.
3. Download your .kdz file using your IMEI from www.lg-firmware-rom.com
4. Like @raulx222 said, Return to Stock Firmware.
5. CREATE A NANDROID BACKUP.
6. Install your desired custom KitKat ROM.

Give more info please. When you flashed lollipop, which ROM you flashed? you flashed other files too?
Anyway, flashing the stock firmware is almost any time a way to solve the issues ..You could backup your files from TWRP via MTP and then flash the stock firmware. You also can backup your files with TWRP using a usb flash stick and a OTG cable.

restore to kitkat
Hello just flash this attached file in recovery. After that flash jb bootloader for d802 and baseband and recovery you use for roms you use. Everything will work
Btw the zip contains stock kk 20H partitions you need to restore. Simplerom to work on lollipop modify this partiton on your device to be as f320 model in some areas to get lollipop booting
Tell me did you make it boot

Updating to Lollipop messes with all your initial KitKat partitions. There are 2 solutions to what you're asking.
Solution 1 (SAFE):
It's highly recommended you DON'T just flash a KitKat ROM back onto your device, this will render your device useless. Return to stock KitKat by using the Return To Stock method, then flash your KitKat ROM back over. Doing it this way will first make sure your device has the proper KK partitions. Of course if you have a KK Nandroid back up just flash that back on once you're back on KitKat , and if you don't have a KK Nandroid backup.. just make sure you back up your LP data/media before returning back to stock :victory:.
Solution 2 (UNSAFE, D802 ONLY):
This method unfortunately is only FOR THE D802 by somboons in this thread which I have NOT tested. It involves flashing a .zip to revert your KitKat partitions. More room for errors, but less work. Your call. Obviously if your device is not a D802, don't even attempt this solution, seriously.. just go with Solution 1 .
How to restore KK partitions/flash other ROM (credits to droidth):
- Download this flashable zip: LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip
- Reboot to recovery and flash LGG2 -droidth-fixed-KK-partition.zip, DONT REBOOT!
- Flash backup or other G2 stock based ROM.

To flash a flashable .zip file you need a Custom Recovery like TWRP. So,
1. Root your phone with IORoot25. - This will give you root.
2. Download and run AutoRec on your phone. - This will downgrade your bootloader to JB and install TWRP.
3. Boot into Recovery Mode (TWRP) and flash your modem.zip. - This will give you a new modem.
Remember to back up your modem before flashing a new one.
Thank you so much.

Stock ROM Backup

Hi,
I have rooted and installed TWRP on my 910F Note4 as I was fed up waiting on the lollipop update rolling out. I am currently on 4.4.4 and have made a full backup using TWRP of the stock rom.
My intention was flashing the Cyanogen ROM and using that, but i now see on sammobile there is a stock 5.01 rom available. I have a few questions about this.
1. If I flash to Cyanogen can I still revert back to the stock rom 4.4.4 I have made a backup with? I read somewhere there might be problems as I was on KitKat then moved to lollipop(Cyanogen).
2. Can I flash the stock lollipop rom from within TWRP? Or do you have to do this via ODIN?
3. If I flash the Lollipop stock ROM with Odin I assume I will lose root and TWRP? So this would have to done again?
Guess I am asking what is the best way to proceed?
Thanks again
Paul

hi Paul,
1. i beleve to flash CM from kitkat you will need to install the lollipop bootloader first.
2. You have to flash the stock rom via Odin, you will keep all apps settings and files but you will lose root (you u can re root in 3 minutes)
Best thing you could do is flash the stock rom first with odin, see how that feels (IMO its good been using it for months now) and then root it and back it up and flash CM12 (you dont have to flash any boatloader at this point)
grtz

Ok tried to flash Stock O2 UK lollipop ROM via ODIN and got error message on screen. MD5 too big or something. Had to pull battery on phone. Had to then reflash TWRP. Got back into TWRP and tried to do a recovery of the backup I took but phone is stuck at Galaxy note 4 screen. It then shuts down and restarts and gets to the same screen again.
Do I try a different ROM? What can I do?
Thanks

I got it working by flashing the German non branded ROM... Got the error message again but then used a "All samsung recovery.tar" as stated on another post in here and it booted fine eventually... Now on Lollipop. Now time to flash with TWRP.... Again!!!
Please, i need help !
I need help, urgently !
My Note 4 SM-N910C does not work. I can enter the Recovery and the Download Mode. When attempting to install a Custom ROM gives me an error that says I have no data. In the internal memory I have 0mb.
I tried using odin, but I can not .. Salta error.
Someone who can make a backup of your phone (which is factory), leave me a link to download it? So I install the TWRP. Please.
They have another solution?
Thank you.:good:

How to revert back to the stock firmware?

Hi All,
A couple of days back, I installed custom ROM (Recreated Remix Leopard) successfully on Zenfone 5. I was on the stock lollipop 3.24.40.87 firmware before that. I rooted, unlocked Bootloader and installed TWRP recovery on the stock ROM and I also took a nandroid backup. After using the custom ROM, I decided to go back to the stock ROM. I used the nandroid backup for restoring and got the stock ROM. But, now I want to go back to the stock Kitkat ROM (as the lollipop sucks) and I also don't want the custom recovery or anything. In short, I want to revert my phone to the real factory condition.
I tried to go back to Kitkat by the ASUS official method. But that didn't work. Then I tried to re-lock the Bootloader with the tool from which I unlocked it. But when I did that, I got stuck on the USB logo screen. So, I unlocked it again with the same tool and the phone starts normally. So, how do I get back now?
What would happen if I flash the stock ROM via TWRP? Will it remove the custom recovery and lock the Bootloader?
I read a couple of articles, a few of them suggested to install the stock ROM with the official ASUS method (copy the files in internal storage and the phone will notify to install the update). The article even says that by this method any custom modifications (recovery, root, Bootloader) will be deleted. Is it true or will this work?
Thanks in advance!

Link rom WW 3.24.40.87 modded, flash via TWRP: drive.google.com/open?id=0B7Py5ad2aHwKMHRsZ1NJM0tfLTQ
If you flash this rom, it will not remove the custom recovery + lock the Bootloader
If you having a problem while flashing this rom, you need to flash stock recovery 2.22.40.54, after that you can sideload stock rom via ADB
Sorry for my bad english ^^

Hi, thank you for the reply
You said WW 3.24.40.87 modded, do you mean that this rom is not the official one? Does it improves the battery life and other bugs of the stock rom?
I really appreciate your help!
You cannot flash stock rom via TWRP!
This is modded rom, so you can flash it via TWRP easily....
It's Official rom from Asus, just modded to be able flash through TWRP

Thank you for the info
But the thing is that I am already on the stock 3.24.40.87 rom and I want to go back to Kitkat 2.22.40.54 because it has much more improved battery performance than the lollipop. Is there any modded version of the stock Kitkat rom too? Or how do I go back to it?

[Help] D802 4.4.2->TWRP 3.0.2->CM13->BRICK!

Prerequisites: D802, 32 GB, Stock 4.4.2. I believe "Int" version (original motherboard was replaced)
I tried to upgrade stock 4.4.2 with CM13 and failed with the brick result (LG logo for a couple of seconds and the black screen then).
Now the recovery mode is available (TWRP 3.0.2 bump blastagator) but there is no android image loaded except CM 13.0 snapshot 20160418 which causes the brick state.
The questions are following:
What was wrong?
What proper android image can be used to unbrick?
How to load image on the phone?
Since I found Mount->USB-OTG checkbox in the TWRP, then I hope the OTG cable can be used to load image from USB flash drive. Unfortunately I can check it now.
Will be appreciate for the help.
KK bootloader, that's the reason. If you want to have stock bootstack you need to update to 5.0.2 stock, root and then flash TWRP and CM13. Everything'll work fine.

Thanks edi.
Do I need to replace TWRP bootloader with another one (I guess stock) and then update to 5.0.2 or I can start updating 5.0.2 with TWRP?
If you want to stay with stock bootstack:
You need to flash 5.0.2 KDZ file with download mode.
If you want to do it fast:
You need to flash hybrid bootstack.
Thanks a lot.
Fixed.
