[Q] driver problem with wwan card - Windows 8 General

Hi
I have a dell venue 11 pro win 8.1 i5 tablet and have purchased a Sierra wireless em7355 4g card from eBay.
The card clearly is not a dell version and shows itself as an HP lt4111 which is based on the same em3755 card.
I have tried all the drivers I can find from the likes of dell. HP and Panasonic who use this card but none will install the device - yellow exclamation mark... There are no drivers for this device comment. I assume there is some customisation of the driver or system uids to stop the drivers installing given it is a common chipset.
Is there anything I can do?

[Q] Marvel Wireless & Vitakey not detecting in Vista

Marvel Wireless & Vitakey not detecting in Vista: Both these devices I had never tested after I bought it. I downloaded latest driver updates from HTC's support site & Vista SP2 and uninstalled the existing drivers and uninstalled the old drivers and installed the new ones in its place. Now both the devices are not getting detected. When I bought the device on SALE (last piece) I did not get any OS copy on media and RJ45 extender. Hence, I am unable to restore the original drivers. (My Windows Vista Business is activated and not pirated).
Questions:
1. Can some one share a copy of the copy of HTC Shift X9500 Vista OS image for backup reasons?
2. Can anyone recommend what I need to do to get the above referred two devices detected. Even if Vitakey does not get detected, I can live without it. But I definitely need to get the WiFi device detected so that I can connect to the internet from my HTC Shift X9500.
Error screen shots attached.
I will very much appreciate any help that may be extended to me. Many thanks in advance.
Ah, a problem that I ran into aswell. Firstly, try using an un-archiveing program on the HTC drivers you downloaded to get the .ini files from them, then install them through Device Manager. IF that doesn't work, then the only way I have ever been able to solve this problem is to re-install Vista, then before applying any service packs install ALL drivers, THEN install SP1 and SP2/
You don't need a "copy of .. Vista", it's on the hard disk, in a hidden partition!
Just pound Fn+F3 at the BIOS prompt screen, and you'll get a screen that asks you if you'd like to restore Vista to factory defualts. CAUTION - this erases everything and rewrites Vista to the HD, so back upo anything to an external disk that you need first!
READ THAT SCREEN CAREFULLY! The question is phrased for safety. If you answer "Y", the process aborts safely (Press Y to safely quit, N to restore).
Then you're back to HTC factory Vista.
But Windows 7 is really much quicker on the Shift....
HTH,
Richard
The Shift RJ45 extenders are freely available on eBay.

Driver Accelerometer STMicro detection sensor

packard bell touch ze8
someone can help me,
my netbook is a packard bell ze8 (butterfly touch)
comes with windows 7 home premium
upgrading to windows 8 pro during installing new windows recognize all drivers
except accelerometer
i installed windows 7 driver in compatibility mode
but the auto-rotation does not work
the video card is an intel gma 4500
any idea?
Have you installed all the OEM's drivers (chipset, video, etc.)? Often the generic drivers don't provide support for features like that. Also, make sure that auto-rotation is enabled; on some systems it isn't.

thanks for supporting
i had installed the driver provided from packad bell under compatibility mode
then tried with new intel gma4500 driver installed by windows 8
and after also with old driver from packard bell
enabling auto rotation in both by intel setting and control panel settings
...in another partition installing windows 7 auto roation works
maybe there is some registry hack to do...?

For those who have same problem
You have to refresh pc (new Windows 8 function)
Then install FIRST old windows 7 video drivers
After restart the machine and install the other micro St detection driver for windows 7
Both driver in windows 7 compatibility
Hope this can help someone... I see there is a lot of people have troubles with St accelerometer driver and windows 8

[Q] USB drivers can't find internal/SD Card

I used my PC to help restore my daughters Asus ZenPhone 5. This phone uses an Intel chip so I had to install the Intel USB/ADB drivers in order to access the phone to do data backup before I reset it. Now, I plug my Samsung Note 3 back into my PC and it isn't being recognized. So far, I've uninstalled the Intel drivers, reinstalled the Samsung USB drivers and in Windows Device Manager, I've gone to the Samsung ADB and let it find the best driver. Now my phone will show up but I can't see the internal / SD card memory. How do I restore that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Is it a windows PC? If so, you can try to revert it back to the day before you installed the intel drivers. See if that helps
Or, You try to connect a locked device?
Try to install samsung kies for updated drivers.
Windows 8.1 has the samsung drivers in windows update.

Android on HP Pavilion X2 10

I have tried installing android x86 to an external hdd and booting from it, and I also tried simply running the live version but nothing works, it just gets stuck on the logo screen. I tried the android-x86_64-6.0-r1 version, the Android-x86_6.0 - Remix OS for PC - 64 bit and the android-x86-4.4-r5
I also tried installing the Phoenix OS x86, but I get an error that my device isn't compatible even though it has an Intel Atom cpu which should work as far as I know.
This is the exact model I have: HP Pavilion X2 10-n107nc
I would really appreciate some advice, because I have been trying for days and I just can't get it to work and I am running out of ideas.
Also saw this model in UK and also don't want to wait for chuwi for 3 weeks . As far as i know In chinese models of intel atom tablets there is special bootloaders to boot two systems (iwork, chuwi) and on x64 architecture you can install grub and android image, the best option is to write to intel atom section
